My phones screen doesnt turn off unless I manually make it, I have screen set to turn off every 1 minute and I checked under development to make sure keep display on while charging was unchecked. Is there way to have phone display turn off every 1 minute while docked?

My motorola atrix has a wi fi connection , is docked and linked to tv using hdmi dock, bluetooth activated wireless mousse and keyboard all work but cannot connect to any websites - comes up with can't connect or find server message. only thing i haven't tried is to do with the firewall settings, proxy , vpn, etc ....I do not know what any of them are
Since four days now, my iPhone thinks it's docked to an dockingstation. This is realy annoying, since my sound doesn't work.

When I connect my phone to a wall charger (provided my Motorola), the touch screen responds rarely (slowly). As soon you disconnect the charger it works fine. I had talked to Motorola specialist over the phone and she provided me with a new charger. However, the problem still persists.
Yesterday, I used a Blackberry charger (with very close voltage and current output) and the phone worked fine.
I have a Pattern Setup as my lock screen for my phone, and 2 out of the 3 times I try to unlock it, it doesn't work. I try to drag the pattern out, but it thinks i lifted my finger and the lines go red, like when you guess the wrong pattern, and the lines go crazy, shooting to random dots on the lock screen, making it very tempremental. When this occurs i just click the lock button to shut the screen off, and then try again. Even after I do this, it still won't work and the lock screen will go crazy.

I removed the battery and put it back to no avail. If I plug it in, the green light comes on - the Motorola splash screen displays - then a battery meter displays.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm looking for an app that will turn the screen on automatically when there are notifications.The main reason is I want this is to confirm that a call has ended. When I'm using my bluetooth headset and hit the end button, I have no visual confirmation from my phone that the call has indeed ended.With the majority of the other phones I've owned, the screen will come on and a notification will pop up for certain things (call ending, incoming texts, bluetooth connected/disconnected, wifi available, etc). But on Android I can't find a way to do this.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSometimes when I'm getting in my car and hit the button to turn on the phone screen, then slide the unlock icon to the right to get to my screen, then try to start an app, I have to fight the phone to stay on over and over and over and over.There is plenty of battery life, so that isn't the issue. Sometimes it goes black immediately after sliding the unlock button right. Sometimes it goes black again when I click on an app on my home screen. Sometimes it goes black again after opening the app. Sometimes it goes black again after I click on something in the app.When this occurs, I can have to go thru hitting the on button and sliding the unclock icon right multiple times, sometimes 2 or 3 times at each of the steps as described above.

I would try to unlock on it, I even held the power button to turn it off if possible but it did not budge. The soultion to this was removing the battery out and putting it back in. View 6 Replies View RelatedI have the OEM Motorola Car Dock connected with the combined USB audio/power cable. Whenever I dock my Droid 4, the media volume changes to a default setting (somewhere around 90% of max if I had to guess) and cannot be changed with the volume buttons.
This is a huge problem for me as it causes distortion from my car speakers; I need the media volume to be less than ~70% to prevent this.
If I connect the phone via the 3.5mm jack instead of USB, the media volume can be adjusted normally and I can avoid the distortion...but that requires two cables instead of one and I'd have to connect/disconnect the 3.5mm cable every time I am in my car.
tl;dr Is there any way to change the media volume setting when using the USB port for audio output?
I went into Airplane Mode today using the widget. It turned off my Wifi (but not GPS?) and went into Airplane Mode just fine. Then when using the widget to turn Airplane Mode off I see my Wifi turn back on, but the Airplane Mode isn't removed. The only way I can find to actually take the phone out of Airplane mode is to hold the power button and toggle it from the silent/airplane/power popup.

I can touch the speaker button that then routes the audio to the car speakers but how do I make call audio route to the car speakers by default and not the phones external speaker?If there isn't a setting I can change then maybe an app that will do it for me?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have really nothing done! After I have received the phone. I have used it some time... I have installed some free apps. Then the battery was empty after some hours. I didn't charged it! After a while the phone has turned by it self off. I used the usb cable to charge him.
I tried to turn the phone on, but there was no reaction. I only could seen that the green led goes on and off after a time when I pressed on the on/off button. I thought that battery was completely discharged, so I left it to charge.
After an hour, tried to turn the phone on, BUT it doesn't start! I really don't know what it is.. Only the green led goes on and off when I press on the button. Also when I put the usb cable in to the phone, the green led goes on and the after a while off.
I bought the Atrix 2 today.Initial thoughts, the screen looks really nice, the soft rubber back feels better then the Atrix 1. I got the same internet speeds as the Atrix 1. Camera button convenient though pressing it doesnt launch camera app. On the Atrix 2 internal memory isnt accessible, even hooking up to pc you cant browse it, so you need a SD card to put music and videos, etc on it.HDMI mirroring worked as expected. I think the MHL mirroring from the SGS2 was better quality though.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI go to the Phone Dialer and make a call. Few seconds and or a 1/2 ring and then the phone goes "Boop" and reverts to the lock screen. Sometimes the slider will not work or the Lock screen freezes, until you reset via the power/reset button on the back of the phone.

Any advise in order for this to work properly. I've tried removing and reinstalling with no avail.I've also put my phone in each of the USB modes without luck..
View 3 Replies View RelatedHave an Atrix 4G by At&T. I plug my HDMI cable into the TV (in an attempt to show video, pics, anything) and I get a Motorola logo flashing around only. The Entertainment Center shows up on the phone. If I press anything on the Entertainment Center it disappears, my TV goes blank for a few seconds, then the Motorola logo comes back. I can get the Entertainment Center back thru the pull down, but any selection, it starts all over again.

I have a few problems with the Atrix 2 and curious if others see these things.First...I really like this phone. I like the size, the weight, the speed, the apps, etc. was annoying enough that I decided to use my bluetooth headset. The sound improved immeasurably by doing that. But, I noticed that while at work, listening to music, that I couldn't turn on wifi while I had bluetooth engaged. The music would haltingly play, like a skipping disk, until, finally, after about 30 seconds it stops altogether. As soon as I turned off wifi, the bluetooth playing would reengage where it left off and play perfectly.I also notice that with the plugged in mic or with my bluetooth headphones connected, if a call comes in while I'm listening to something, about 1/2 the time, the phone wouldn't ring or vibrate.

I was able to update both services status and leave comments on friends' status and messages.Following the factory reset, Motoblur can only post my status updates, it doesn't retrieve twitters from whose I'm following and Faceebook friends updates.Motoblur application is fully enabled in Facebook settings page.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I used to plug in my phone to the tv with my hdmi cable it would pop up on the phone wanting me to pick entertainment center or webtop connector. I chose the entertaimnment center last time and chose the option to always pick that. Now when I connect my phone to the tv, the Motorola logo appears on the screen of the tv, but the phone does nothing, like it doesn't recognize it. Is there a way that I can redo whatevr it is I do so I can watch my videos on my tv?

Doing a wipe cache partition fixes it for a little bit and maybe an hour later, it's broken again.
I've also tried doing a factory reset with no success.
