Motorola Atrix 2 :: Grayed Out Mobile Networks Tab

I have a week that I bought an Atrix 2. My mobile networks tab in settings is locked that means that I cannot change to 2G only or 3G only. It is Automatic and grayed out! I would like to know if I can do anything to unlock that by any mean, custom ROM or whatever! Here the 3G connection is poor and unstable so my phone changes the type of connections every time by interrupting the call and also consuming the battery!

I finally figured out why the pattern screen unlock is getting grayed out on my A2. I am using corporate email to fetch webmail from ky.gov. Tried a couple of "fixes" but every time re-setup the corporate, the pattern screen lock goes away. Is there a way around this? I tried setting up the webmail a different way, but that won't get the email. Since losing the fingerprint scanner, I really became partial to the pattern lock/unlock.

I am running an Atrix on ATT. I live in the boonies, so only get the E (Edge?) network. Usually, the "E" and strength bars are blue. And all is well. But occasionally they turn gray, and I have limited or no connectivity. Lots of time out errors, yet I still seem to get some tranfer. Interestingly, when this happens, I usually have four or five bars of service. It doesn't seem to be geographical. That is, sometimes I can be in one place and they just go gray. May last five minutes or so.

I've got the atrix on t-mobile contract but cannot figure out how to set a custom ringtone for the SMS? I've got the custom one for the phone call. But the text message one has me baffled? I select text message >menu setting > messaging settings > select ringtone. But it doesn't offer the option to select a custom one.I've tried putting an mp3/m4a track in the notification folder by connecting the phone to a usb cable and pc, but the tracks dont show up in the select ringtone setting?

I have bought a Galaxy S6 Duos yesterday, and flashed XtreStoLite Deo-Mod v2.1 due to battery performance. Everything working just fine but the only thing is that there is no mobile network menu in settings so I can't enable mobile data. I have installed the quick toggle fix by Samsung but still no joy. I have the 920F model and activated it with a UK sim a few months ago.. Have been using a US sim for the past 2 weeks, but today I went into an area with no service for a bit. Went back into an area with service and suddenly it says 'Not registered on network' when I go to make a call and 'No SIM card'.
I have gone into flight mode, cleaned and checked SIM (not a problem with the card), and then when I went to check the APN settings I noticed there was no way to get into my 'Mobile Network' settings! Its just gone!
Is it possible that it has reverted back to the European region lock and is awaiting a European SIM to be inserted before I can re-insert my US?
If it is a region lock, is there anyway to unlock it without using a European SIM as I no longer have mine and dont have quick access to one either.

Ive got a Motorola Atrix on T-Mobile UK. When using webtop and the firefox browser I sometimes get directed to the mobile site rather than the full web site of certain pages like Facebook and Twitter. I'm guessing this is not supposed to happen. Is there a way to change the User Agent so it loads up full webpages?

i have an unlocked Atrix HD from Bell Mobilty and i'm using it on t-mobile. first few days were great! i have hspa+ with speeds at par with my old sensation. however, ive been stuck on edge since this morning. i've been playing with my phone checking if tmobile has lit up their refarmed hspa pcs network in my area using the service menu. since then i couldn't bring the AWS HSPA+ back.

My phone currently can make calls and send text messages but it will not send/rx data type calls. The H+ icon is displayed and I'm in a good signal area. Wi-Fi works fine. In the Phone status menu, I see a potential problem in that the Mobile Network state is set to "disconnected". Mobile Net type = HSPA (which stands for what?), Service state = "in service", and I'm on an AT&T network.how to get my mobile network state back on?

got the xoom wifi. I want to delete some unused networks. instructuons sa: Settings, Wireless & Networks, WiFi Settings. under wif networks, choose the network you want to eliminate and select "Forget" or "Forget Network". Neither of these 2 options appear on the screen.

I have a problem when someone I know on ATT's network sends me an e-mail to my Gmail account. It can take hours. I really thought I had a sync problem but I ran a test today. Everything came through from other providers immediately, including a user name request from this website that went to my Gmail account.Is this a common problem with other networks? An ATT issue? Just this one person? Maybe they don't have their IPHONE sync set right?

I'm having problems with MOTOCAST in Windows XP. It will not recognize any of the 3 wi-fi networks in my home when I search for networks. The computer sees all 3 of them just fine and can connect to any of them. MOTOCAST and my MOTOACTV device work just fine on my work computer (running Windows 7). I can upload to MOTOACTV just fine at work and can see the work wi-fi network. Problem is only on the home networks. Unfortunately, getting on the network at home is most important because that is where I workout. Additionally, I can't sync my workouts to the MOTOACTV website at all from home, not wirelessly and not via USB. MOTOCAST permits me to see the music files on my computer and sync with them but will not sync to MOTOACTV via the web. Not a problem on my work computer.

I have been trying to explore these options as it is said that it works either ways. But not sure how to get it..The text to speech settings has " Install voice data" grayed out. Should I use a third party app to enable these options? But my understanding is Defy has this enabled and its a built in app....

Since upgrading to ICS on my Xoom Wi-Fi, I am unable to connect to networks secured with dot1x. Specifically, those using PEAP authentication and MSCHAPv2 Phase 2 authentication.I was able to connect fine to these networks under honeycomb.

Is there any way to change the preferred order of WiFi networks? My office has two WiFi networks, one for my office and one for the conference room down the hall. When I added the network for the conference room I found that when I'm in the office the phone keeps connecting to it, even though the signal is much weaker than the office network. I ended up just removing it from the list, however, when I'm in the conference room I have to re-add it, which is a pain because there's a long password. On my Windows laptop it's easy to just change the order and it will connect to the one closest to the top of the list, but I can't find anything like that on my Photon. It seems like it would be something pretty simple that would have been built-in.

I have a Motorola Droid Turbo. I have never locked the phone. I downloaded ANDROID PAY app last night. It required a screen lock to secure credit card. I agreed and set up a pattern screen lock. I got tired of unlocking phone every time. I went to disable the screen lock and I am NOT ABLE to do that. The security settings for NONE and SWIPE have been grayed out and are no longer an option. I have removed ANDROID PAY and still have issue.

I just picked up a Turbo after retiring my Razr M. No matter how many times I did a factory reset on the Razr M, every Wi-Fi that I've ever connected to would reamain listed in the "Manage Networks" tab (including the saved passwords). Thought I read somewhere that Google saves all this information under your gmail account.

On Froyo Wireless works fine 100% of the time, on Gingerbread it randomly drops internet, locks data/internet until wifi is disabled, loses all awareness of networks around it, etc..I have tried resetting my whole network system, changed all security settings, WPA, WPA2, nothing works.Here are some photos of the phone doing it. Want to add that the router is on the other side of the wall, not 5 feet from me. Works 100% in Froyo, but the pictures show what happens in Gingerbread. Yes Wi-Fi never sleep is on, and even if it wasnt it should auto connect when it becomes active again, which it doesnt. the pictures show, you can see wi-fi is on but for some reason dropped connection and no longer detects any wireless networks at all, when there are easily 5-8 around me at all times.All i did was disable then reenable wifi and it detected all networks and connected again though it will not be long until it happens again.

My Motorola Atrix or Computer has a Problem install the ADB Interface so there for my phone wont connect to my Computer.I have a windows 7 32-bit operating system.I have tried installing Drivers Manualy, tried using the PDAnet Solution, tried unistalling all USB Ports, tried applications to help.

Will the Lapdock (and other accessories for that matter) work for the new Atrix 2 coming? I've only used the Lapdock lightly and it will be a real shame if it and the other accessories I've purchased over the past year won't work with the 2nd gen Atrix.
