I was wondering what is the significance of the icons in the status bar sometimes being blue, or white, or grayed out?
View 2 RepliesCan some please explain the difference between the blue and white 3G/1X icons and signal meter? Mine is always white unless I have background data enabled then it turns to blue. Regardless if it is blue or white I can still make and receive calls, text, email surf the web etc.

The signal strength, 3g, wifi and bluetooth will go from Blue to white randomly.. any ideas what could be going on there?usually when it happens it's all of them at once then sometimes it randomizes which ones go white.when it happens I lose connectivity.

I thought this recent update last week would make it better but it hasn't. I hear different things from Verizon tech support and going in to the store. What do I have to do to display the battery percentage on the battery status icon? View 5 Replies View RelatedEvery time I shut down and restart my RM, or add a new app from the store, it empties the program icons I have in the dock bar at the bottom of the screen! The "apps" icon stays, but the others that I place there because they're the ones I use frequently all disappear, and I have to put them back into the dock bar.
View 6 Replies View RelatedSomething real strange happens when I turn my phone off and on again or if it reboots for any reason.Three (all Android Market apps) of my shortcut icons on the home screen are replaced by a blue generic looking icon. They still work as shortcut though. The way to fix this is to delete them from the home screen and then set up a new shortcut: The app icon shows up as expected.......... until the next time I turn off my Razr. Annoying to say the least.

Most of the time I can still click on the icon and it will take me to the app and I can delete the shortcut and re-add it, but sometimes I get a message saying that the app does not exist and I have to reinstall it

Just came across this just now. Basically...I turn off the phone and plug into a USB cable off my PC and the notification LED turns bright white. I tried with phone off plugging it into an AC cable and no light. No recently installed apps and I haven't done this since updating to ICS until now. I know it didn't use to do this
View 5 Replies View RelatedReally poor day with the phone today. All day (motly midtown Manhattan) my phone was bouncing from 3G to 4G to white indicators. It was getting very hot. Tried power down, airplane mode, it was not staying connected to Google and chewing through the battery. I was in and out of areas with poor/no signal a few times but for the most part I was in a good signal area (3 bars). I was able to get calls and had three bars (even when the indicators were white) as I expected

My apologies if it is there already.Having the issue that has basically kept me from using smart actions, i had smart actions setup to disable background data when the screen is off, not charging and no movement is detected. The problem is when i turn on back the screen and begin to use the device the 4g icon stays white the whole time, and the data connection does not kick in at all. I usually end up having to put the device to sleep or airplane mode or rebooting all together to restore the data connection

Mine turns white when the screen goes to sleep and takes some time to turn back blue. i have checked the advanced settings, and it is set to Always keep WiFi on during sleep. When it is white, I don't get email, Gmail Chat, etc. As soon as it turns blue, I receive email, and Chat messages.
