View 7 Replieswhen I have both wifi and 4g lte running on my Droid Razr Maxx (still running gingerbread), both indicators are blue. As I understand it the 4g lte indicator should turn white when I turn on wifi, which is what is use to do.

View 4 Replies View RelatedReally poor day with the phone today. All day (motly midtown Manhattan) my phone was bouncing from 3G to 4G to white indicators. It was getting very hot. Tried power down, airplane mode, it was not staying connected to Google and chewing through the battery. I was in and out of areas with poor/no signal a few times but for the most part I was in a good signal area (3 bars). I was able to get calls and had three bars (even when the indicators were white) as I expected

View 7 Replies View RelatedWhats that all about? I currently have 3G only (we get 4G in Oct!!!) and it changes color sometimes from blue to white. I assume people have ssen this with 4G coverage too. Why does my phone do this?
View 1 Replies View RelatedWell so far I have had one interesting issue.. The signal strength, 3g, wifi and bluetooth will go from Blue to white randomly.. any ideas what could be going on there?usually when it happens it's all of them at once then sometimes it randomizes which ones go white.when it happens I lose connectivity.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIt seems the last two months y wife (Razr) and I (Bionic) have been having issues with our 4g going from blue to white and loosing data connection. I thought this recent update last week would make it better but it hasn't. I hear different things from Verizon tech support and going in to the store. Tech support saying it may be a bad phone and had me pop out the sim card.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSince upgrading to Gingerbread, I've noticed the following behavior in the notification bar. Sometimes the cellular signal icon, the 3G icon, and the wifi signal icon are blue in color; other times they are white. Do these changes in color mean anything?

I am on ICS 4.0.4.
Just came across this just now. Basically...I turn off the phone and plug into a USB cable off my PC and the notification LED turns bright white. I tried with phone off plugging it into an AC cable and no light. No recently installed apps and I haven't done this since updating to ICS until now. I know it didn't use to do this

View 3 Replies View RelatedI dont know if this has been reported but after searching the forums i didnt see anything this specific so i figured to ask. My apologies if it is there already.Having the issue that has basically kept me from using smart actions, i had smart actions setup to disable background data when the screen is off, not charging and no movement is detected. The problem is when i turn on back the screen and begin to use the device the 4g icon stays white the whole time, and the data connection does not kick in at all. I usually end up having to put the device to sleep or airplane mode or rebooting all together to restore the data connection
View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to keep WiFi Connected all the time? Mine turns white when the screen goes to sleep and takes some time to turn back blue. i have checked the advanced settings, and it is set to Always keep WiFi on during sleep. When it is white, I don't get email, Gmail Chat, etc. As soon as it turns blue, I receive email, and Chat messages.

View 3 Replies View RelatedJust setup my new, (used) Droid 2. got everything to work except. I can NOT get the LED to light. I even let the battery run low, and on the droid 1, the led would blink, not this one.
Is there something that is known about this, or something I can change or test? Or, did I buy a Droid 2 with a faulty LED?
I don't know if this is an issue but it did not happen with my Droid X and I'm concerned it may affect battery life. When I turn wifi on, the little "3G" or "4G" symbol remains on, although it does turn white indicating no connection (I guess). On my Droid X the symbol would disappear with wifi on, although the signal strength bars remained
View 15 Replies View RelatedSo when I was sleeping on the couch, my phone and a bottle of water were next to me on the ground. Somehow someway, I think I dropped the bottle of water and obviously water went in it.
Woke up this morning, phone doesn't turn on it, but it feels a bit wet. I open the cover, there was some water on the cover, took out the batter tiny bit of water too. Got a towel and dried it all out (wasn't alot). Not knowing that one shouldn’t turn it back on, I put the battery back in, nothing happens (red light doesn't go on). Turn it on, nothing. I know for a fact the battery didn't die out.
Googled around and found out that I wasn't suppose to turn it on, then read about the indicators, basically they have to be all white, which thank god they are, i.e. the one on top of the battery and the one stuck in the phone, where the battery is placed. Also read the rice and bowl trick, which I just did. So going to leave it for at least 12 hours or so and take it from there. question is I guess, is there any hope, or it's done, coz I put the battery back in and tried turning it on.
Why does it change from blue to white/gray sometimes? Whats the difference? I've noticed so far that blue is good and data might not work if it's gray.

View 6 Replies View RelatedMy daughter wants to upgrade from her current 9300 and wants a bigger screen and touch screen/and or keys. These are the choice (I'm in UK) 9860, 9810 or 9380. She's keep going between the full touch, to the touch with keys 9810.Can someone help with the choice who had a similar situation. I tell her that he 9810 looks bulky with the slide, the 9860 and 9380 to me are the same apart from the size of the touchscreen, 3.7" to 3.2" Does this matter much? Is typing still easy on the smaller 3.2" touchscreen?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI purchased the Moto Elite Sliver because my Plantronics Pro HD would drop its bluetooth every single time a call was answered or placed. I did a little research and found it may be related to a conflict with the 2.0 headset and 4.0 phone. Moto Sliver is BT 3.0 and was working great until this week. Now every single time a call is disconnected, the headset disconnects and reconnects. Reboots galore, problem still exists. Uninstall/reinstall Motospeak, problem still exists. Sometimes the bluetooth will not connect at all (reboot required). The Droid RAZR Maxx and the Elite Sliver are supposed to be state of the art MOTOROLA, I make a living with my phone and headset.

View 2 Replies View RelatedGot a D3 for the wife as she was getting tired of the OG Droid and one of the selling points for picking the D3 over the DX2 or DInc2 was the camera. She gets to keep the form factor she fell in love with on the Droid and gets to upgrade to the new D3 as well as getting a better camera too? She was ready for the upgrade. Well now it's buyer's remorse as the camera is useless. The flash washes out the pictures in a blue hue and that makes the colors all wrong. At first we thought it was the phone's display, but it's not as we saw the same nasty blue hue on the computer after transferring the pics. With the flash off the colors are right but the image is grainy. Outside the images are certainly the right color but a tad pixelated. This blue hue is even in video recordings when the LED is used. Something has gone afoul here as the Droid had a better pic quality and the proper colors but the D3, the latest and greatest offering, doesn't? What gives? can it be fixed?
