Has anyone else noticed a blue tint to their screen after the gingerbread upgrade? I mostly notice it on things that have white backgrounds, when I scroll the screen turns the normal white that I am used to seeing, but when I stop the screen turns a blueish color.
im A Professional photographer and I realize that the phone may be limited, but it shouldn't be this bad. All of my shots are underexposed and have a definite blue tint (meaning auto white balance is bad) if they even manage to take without being blurry. My 3 megapixel Touch Diamond took well-exposed and well-colored pictures and instead of getting an upgrade, buying the Photon was a major step backwards.
I have purchased brandh new Xperia Z3 Dual from Dubai and after few seconds of use i realsied something is not right.
I did compare it with my wife Xperia Z3 and also another Xperia Z3 Dual and find out that my phone is giving bit of blue tone ( tint ) in general and brightness it bit low as well.
I did factory reset and also updated software using computer but nothing is changed.
I recently upgraded to the G3 (from an iPhone) and had a lot of trouble with call quality on the first phone so I switched to the S5. Long story short, I'm back to the G3 and am having some trouble with the new phone. The colors on the screen looked somewhat washed out and the camera isn't nearly as fast as the first phone - seems to take 3-5 seconds between shots to be able to take a photo (with just the 3 dots visible) or for the shutter button to reappear. It's the same whether HDR is on or off and if I swap down to 10mp I notice a lot of grain.
Colors looked washed out, faces had a blue tone and pictures were blurry. I did a soft reset and I also unmounted and remounted the SD card - no change. Finally, I noticed a Developer Options menu. After digging around on the internet, I thought this is a hidden menu that has to be unlocked? I decided to do a factory reset; the developer options menu disappeared, photos look much better although some pictures are still blurred and the screen looks much warmer. I have the Black G3 on Sprint and my Sprint Zone keeps saying there is an update but when I click on it, it pops up a message that says, "Update cancelled."
I got a replacement galaxy s5 on Jan 28 and I've noticed the screen has a yellow and blue tint during white backgrounds. If i look straight at the screen, the white has some yellow tint over the mid to top portion of the screen. However, if I move the phone up, the yellow moves down the screen and a blue tint appears on the top to mid part of the screen. The tint isn't heavy as I can see still get good colors out of things.
Is this normal for the s5 screen? My old phone had a yellow tint to the white as well, but I don't know if the tint changed from yellow to blue when I moved the phone up and down.
When I take a picture with a white background a circular blue tint appears in the middle of the page. How do I get rid of this? Am I using the right camera settings?

I have noticed in low-light photos, in both Superior Auto and Manual mode that there is a blue tint on the edges of low light photos, especially more on the left side. The only way I've noticed I can really mitigate it is if I lower the ISO on manual mode, but then the photos would end up being too dark.
I have seen this issue discussed on other forums; some say it is a hardware issue, some software, and others say a camera module replacement may fix it. But I don't think Sony has officially ever acknowledged this issue, even though it is definitely present.
I got the S6 Edge yesterday and it's my first Samsung phone. I've notice a faint blue tint on the bottom half on the screen. If you open a new tab in Chrome you can see it there against the white background. The top half of the screen is a nice white color.. there is definitely some kind of darker difference on the bottom half.
My new 808 is fantastic! However when the display is viewed at an angle of about 20 degrees or more the whites shown become blue. This is more evident when I look at Google homepage because of the white background.
Can some please explain the difference between the blue and white 3G/1X icons and signal meter? Mine is always white unless I have background data enabled then it turns to blue. Regardless if it is blue or white I can still make and receive calls, text, email surf the web etc.
I have a blue led on my MDX2 on constantly. Have looked in all documentation and googled this but can't find anything that tells me what the leds mean.
Got a D3 for the wife as she was getting tired of the OG Droid and one of the selling points for picking the D3 over the DX2 or DInc2 was the camera. She gets to keep the form factor she fell in love with on the Droid and gets to upgrade to the new D3 as well as getting a better camera too? She was ready for the upgrade. Well now it's buyer's remorse as the camera is useless. The flash washes out the pictures in a blue hue and that makes the colors all wrong. At first we thought it was the phone's display, but it's not as we saw the same nasty blue hue on the computer after transferring the pics. With the flash off the colors are right but the image is grainy. Outside the images are certainly the right color but a tad pixelated. This blue hue is even in video recordings when the LED is used. Something has gone afoul here as the Droid had a better pic quality and the proper colors but the D3, the latest and greatest offering, doesn't? What gives? can it be fixed?
Whats that all about? I currently have 3G only (we get 4G in Oct!!!) and it changes color sometimes from blue to white. I assume people have ssen this with 4G coverage too. Why does my phone do this?
when I am connected via wif and the wifi bars are blue, sometime the phone bars are also blue and sometime the bars are white? I understand that blue signifies Google connected, but why would the phone data connect to google when wifi is available..
All that green and blue fuzz should not be there. After it takes the pic, the photo is normal looking. Does anyone know why it's doing this and how to fix it?
I get a flashing blue or green light in the upper right hand corner of my phone, next to the proximity sensor. Does anyone know what the notifications are for? I know its for a new message but what color is for what message? I looked all over the user guide but it doesn't tell me which color is for which notification. The colors don't seem to be consistent with the new messages I get.
Well so far I have had one interesting issue.. The signal strength, 3g, wifi and bluetooth will go from Blue to white randomly.. any ideas what could be going on there?usually when it happens it's all of them at once then sometimes it randomizes which ones go white.when it happens I lose connectivity.
when I have both wifi and 4g lte running on my Droid Razr Maxx (still running gingerbread), both indicators are blue. As I understand it the 4g lte indicator should turn white when I turn on wifi, which is what is use to do.
so at the bottom of my screen I have a blue bar that flicks ... its not an app or something I put there. its the screen. can someone tell me what this is or should I just get a replacement.
When my BlueParrott Xpressway headset is connected to my Bionic and I answer a call using my headset, 50% of the time I get a loud blast of static that lasts anywhere from 4-10 seconds. After the static blast, the headset works just like it did with my old Devour. I also get the same static blast about 30% of the time when I try to use voice commands. I have tried taking calls in several locations, thinking I was getting some type of "noise" from something else, but I still got the static blast.
So I just looked at my 4G LTE indicator while it was blue and saw it rapidly disappear switch to a white/bluish box for 1/10 of a second and then the 4G LTE indicator reappeared in blue. This is all while streaming Pandora. The phone seemed to keep switching every 15 seconds or so for 5 minutes before I decided to reboot. The reboot seems to have fixed whatever it was for now.
I still wonder if it was a software icon glitch, data connection issue, or something else.
It seems the last two months y wife (Razr) and I (Bionic) have been having issues with our 4g going from blue to white and loosing data connection. I thought this recent update last week would make it better but it hasn't. I hear different things from Verizon tech support and going in to the store. Tech support saying it may be a bad phone and had me pop out the sim card.
Since upgrading to Gingerbread, I've noticed the following behavior in the notification bar. Sometimes the cellular signal icon, the 3G icon, and the wifi signal icon are blue in color; other times they are white. Do these changes in color mean anything?
I'm a new DX2 owner and having several problems with the phone. First, When I reboot, any app I've placed on a home screen that has been moved to the SD card/media area comes up as the default settings icon (blue gear icon) but appear correctly in the app drawer. Second, When I record video it is pixilated and choppy on play back with parts of the video actually missing. I understand we're all waiting for Gingerbread and bugs may exist but, to me, the video issue is a real problem because it basically means I can't count on video working and therefore have to use another device (go XOOM) for video recording.
