I have tried everything, DFU and recovery mode, nothing works.

Has anyone else noticed a blue tint to their screen after the gingerbread upgrade? I mostly notice it on things that have white backgrounds, when I scroll the screen turns the normal white that I am used to seeing, but when I stop the screen turns a blueish color.

Mine is always white unless I have background data enabled then it turns to blue. Regardless if it is blue or white I can still make and receive calls, text, email surf the web etc.
View 7 Replies View RelatedGot a D3 for the wife as she was getting tired of the OG Droid and one of the selling points for picking the D3 over the DX2 or DInc2 was the camera. She gets to keep the form factor she fell in love with on the Droid and gets to upgrade to the new D3 as well as getting a better camera too? She was ready for the upgrade. Well now it's buyer's remorse as the camera is useless. The flash washes out the pictures in a blue hue and that makes the colors all wrong. At first we thought it was the phone's display, but it's not as we saw the same nasty blue hue on the computer after transferring the pics. With the flash off the colors are right but the image is grainy. Outside the images are certainly the right color but a tad pixelated. This blue hue is even in video recordings when the LED is used. Something has gone afoul here as the Droid had a better pic quality and the proper colors but the D3, the latest and greatest offering, doesn't? What gives? can it be fixed?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just joined Verizon and my Droid 2 Global came in the mail yesterday! The biggest issues I've had so far are battery life and Wi-Fi disconnects.
For now I just want to ask about the Wi-Fi because I cannot seem to find a decent or consistent answer online (using Google or here in the forums). So the issue... I turn on Wi-Fi, connect to the router, and 2 seconds later it says "disconnected". The router I'm using is a Linksys WRT-150N and my phone software version is 2.4.330.A956.

when I am connected via wif and the wifi bars are blue, sometime the phone bars are also blue and sometime the bars are white? I understand that blue signifies Google connected, but why would the phone data connect to google when wifi is available..

View 2 Replies View RelatedI get a flashing blue or green light in the upper right hand corner of my phone, next to the proximity sensor. Does anyone know what the notifications are for? I know its for a new message but what color is for what message? I looked all over the user guide but it doesn't tell me which color is for which notification. The colors don't seem to be consistent with the new messages I get.
View 9 Replies View RelatedWell so far I have had one interesting issue.. The signal strength, 3g, wifi and bluetooth will go from Blue to white randomly.. any ideas what could be going on there?usually when it happens it's all of them at once then sometimes it randomizes which ones go white.when it happens I lose connectivity.
View 1 Replies View Relatedwhen I have both wifi and 4g lte running on my Droid Razr Maxx (still running gingerbread), both indicators are blue. As I understand it the 4g lte indicator should turn white when I turn on wifi, which is what is use to do.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've started playing online games more recently. Very often, while Im in the games, it will say it is searching for the network, or it is doesn't have a network connection.I've switched to WiFi when I can, and still have the issue.I've noticed when I look at he phone now, the 4G symbol is white, then turns blue.seem to remember it always being blue.Does it sound like it's the games having the issue, the games causing the issue, or an issue with the phone?I would prefer to NOT do a hard reset. It always takes me about 2 or more hours to get the phone back the way I want it.Is anyone noticing the same thing, or does anyone have any thoughts
View 13 Replies View RelatedI got my Droid Razr Nov 10th; had problems so Nov 11 evening I reformated device, factory reset.
As of this morning on Nov 19th I noticed my LED notification light flashing, so I turned on screen to see what I missed. Nothing. Okay so I unlocked phone and waited a minute to see if some third party application will tell me I have a notification. Nothing.
I turned display off, waited a min and it started flashing again. This time I had to go to work so I turned off device 100% and went to work; 6hrs later I turned on device and I got the LED notification light again. Still cant figure it out. After texting a friend, his 2nd text finally made it go away.
I attended a wedding ceremony as a guest and put my cell phone on Airplane mode so no distractions during wedding and thankfully no lights. 1hr later I re enabled all Data (turned off Airplane mode) and still no LED notification.
I thought I was saved.
But I was wrong. After 2hrs I'm getitng the LED notification light again. Tech thought it had something to do with battery, well at at any rate I'm getting a new device, will be here Wednesday but apparently its still blinking at me.
Heck I even have that thing plugged into the AC charging battery and its still going off. The weird thing is, is that when I turn a blank black screen to power up for me so I can use device the LED light goes away, but when I turn off the display (not powering device off) it comes back.
Verizon tried to get me to Motorola Tech Support but guess what, during the transition of being transferred it was 5:59 then 6:00 and the phone cut me off so their website shows them being closed. i just missed the transfer to talk to someone at motorola by 1 minute. So now i have to wait til after 3pm PST tomorrow before i call Motorola back about this issue. Til then I'm hoping someone else knows something
My SD card becomes unmounted constantly. I am guessing that the cover that holds it in place is not working properly. Does anyone else have this problem and does anyone know how to fix it?

View 9 Replies View RelatedWhen my BlueParrott Xpressway headset is connected to my Bionic and I answer a call using my headset, 50% of the time I get a loud blast of static that lasts anywhere from 4-10 seconds. After the static blast, the headset works just like it did with my old Devour. I also get the same static blast about 30% of the time when I try to use voice commands. I have tried taking calls in several locations, thinking I was getting some type of "noise" from something else, but I still got the static blast.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo I just looked at my 4G LTE indicator while it was blue and saw it rapidly disappear switch to a white/bluish box for 1/10 of a second and then the 4G LTE indicator reappeared in blue. This is all while streaming Pandora. The phone seemed to keep switching every 15 seconds or so for 5 minutes before I decided to reboot. The reboot seems to have fixed whatever it was for now.
I still wonder if it was a software icon glitch, data connection issue, or something else.
It seems the last two months y wife (Razr) and I (Bionic) have been having issues with our 4g going from blue to white and loosing data connection. I thought this recent update last week would make it better but it hasn't. I hear different things from Verizon tech support and going in to the store. Tech support saying it may be a bad phone and had me pop out the sim card.

View 4 Replies View RelatedThe IM service is always running in applications. I have never even opened the IM application or set it up. It usually is using up between 3.1 and 3.7 MB in the memory, which isn't a big deal. It is running one process and two services. Any way to disable the IM app from constantly running in the background. I had disabled it in the Task Manager to shut off two minutes after the screen goes off but whenever the phone wakes it turns back on and seemed to make my data issues worse. I can't say for sure that adding it to the auto kill list directly affected the data connection because it may have just been another bad day for the Bionic.
