Motorola Droid Turbo :: How To Extract Photos Off Broken Phone (Motherboard Crashed)
Jun 1, 2015My phone was run over by a car. i brought it to a cell phone repair shop to try and extract the photos from the vacation we where on. i buy a new screen get it installed, my motherboard has crashed and phone wont turn on. I am wondering how i can get the photos off. Its a droid turbo once it fails to start up the screen remains off but it vibrated every 30sec.

Jun 4, 2015Using inbox. I started using this app a few weeks ago. I delete an email, it goes to the trash. How do you empty the trash? If i long press on the email it comes up with a trash can. Don't press that because it just moves it back to the inbox. Not sure how this works.

Mar 14, 2015More recently, my droid turbo has been turning rainbow colors instead of black with the time when it's charging. If I press the lock button myself, the phone will lock and stay black with the time. If I unlock my phone and let it be, it'll turn to the rainbow colors. I have my phone on the turbo charger when this happens!

Dec 30, 2013Had my Nexus 5 for about a month now, and have loved it till this morning, it decided to just shut off (full battery too) and i tried to turn it on and it is now just constantly starting up to the "Google" splash screen then shutting off.
Sometimes it gets to the the 4 color circles then shuts off.
Just now got through to start up and the screen flashed on and off and by the time i got to settings crashed and shut off again. I can't even get it to stop trying to turn on!
Motorola Droid 4 :: Crashed During Sleep Mode?
Jul 6, 2012My phone had an 80% charge last night and the nightime battery extender mode was on (as it is every night). Five hours later I woke to the flashing green light so I tried to check my messages. The screen would not come on. I knew the phone hadn't powered off because of the green light. I called from my home phone but there was no sound either. I looked online and found how to force a reboot (power on and volume down button at same time). The phone came on and said it still had a 50% charge. It did NOT show my missed calls! I called Verizon and they tried to say it was a fluke thing and not to worry. This has never happened before and the phone is only a month old. I rely on the phone as an alarm so this is especially disturbing, as well as the unknown missed calls.

Jul 8, 2011I just joined Verizon and my Droid 2 Global came in the mail yesterday! The biggest issues I've had so far are battery life and Wi-Fi disconnects.
For now I just want to ask about the Wi-Fi because I cannot seem to find a decent or consistent answer online (using Google or here in the forums). So the issue... I turn on Wi-Fi, connect to the router, and 2 seconds later it says "disconnected". The router I'm using is a Linksys WRT-150N and my phone software version is 2.4.330.A956.

Very often, while Im in the games, it will say it is searching for the network, or it is doesn't have a network connection.I've switched to WiFi when I can, and still have the issue.I've noticed when I look at he phone now, the 4G symbol is white, then turns blue.seem to remember it always being blue.Does it sound like it's the games having the issue, the games causing the issue, or an issue with the phone?I would prefer to NOT do a hard reset. It always takes me about 2 or more hours to get the phone back the way I want it.Is anyone noticing the same thing, or does anyone have any thoughts

Nov 19, 2011I got my Droid Razr Nov 10th; had problems so Nov 11 evening I reformated device, factory reset.
As of this morning on Nov 19th I noticed my LED notification light flashing, so I turned on screen to see what I missed. Nothing. Okay so I unlocked phone and waited a minute to see if some third party application will tell me I have a notification. Nothing.
I turned display off, waited a min and it started flashing again. This time I had to go to work so I turned off device 100% and went to work; 6hrs later I turned on device and I got the LED notification light again. Still cant figure it out. After texting a friend, his 2nd text finally made it go away.
I attended a wedding ceremony as a guest and put my cell phone on Airplane mode so no distractions during wedding and thankfully no lights. 1hr later I re enabled all Data (turned off Airplane mode) and still no LED notification.
I thought I was saved.
But I was wrong. After 2hrs I'm getitng the LED notification light again. Tech thought it had something to do with battery, well at at any rate I'm getting a new device, will be here Wednesday but apparently its still blinking at me.
Heck I even have that thing plugged into the AC charging battery and its still going off. The weird thing is, is that when I turn a blank black screen to power up for me so I can use device the LED light goes away, but when I turn off the display (not powering device off) it comes back.
Verizon tried to get me to Motorola Tech Support but guess what, during the transition of being transferred it was 5:59 then 6:00 and the phone cut me off so their website shows them being closed. i just missed the transfer to talk to someone at motorola by 1 minute. So now i have to wait til after 3pm PST tomorrow before i call Motorola back about this issue. Til then I'm hoping someone else knows something

The problem e-mails look perfectly fine when viewed on a computer. Nov 17, 2011The IM service is always running in applications. I have never even opened the IM application or set it up. It usually is using up between 3.1 and 3.7 MB in the memory, which isn't a big deal. It is running one process and two services. Any way to disable the IM app from constantly running in the background. I had disabled it in the Task Manager to shut off two minutes after the screen goes off but whenever the phone wakes it turns back on and seemed to make my data issues worse. I can't say for sure that adding it to the auto kill list directly affected the data connection because it may have just been another bad day for the Bionic.

Sep 26, 2015I want to take full advantage of HD video camera on my Droid Turbo, and found an external lavalier lapel microphone (Audio Technica 3350iS, which comes with an adapter for "smartphones including iPhone and newer Android phones"). But even when I use the adapter, the video recorder will only use the phone's on board mic. How can I disable/mute the onboard mic? Scoured the interweb, and at one point there was a perfect app "Mute Mic", but the NSA or Google or Motorola decided it was too useful to live.

Dec 7, 2011when setting up your Gmail in the stock email app to use it that way or take advantage of the Universal Inbox you should do it this way.
1. if you set it up already by My Accounts > Add Account > Email Accounts > Gmail then you need to delete that account
2. go to My Accounts > Add Account > Email Accounts > Other
3. use the following:
Incoming Settings
IMAP server: imap.gmail.com
Port: 993
Security type: SSL (always)
Outgoing settings
SMTP server: smtp.gmail.com
Port: 465
Security type: SSL (always)
this will now work as it should.the problem was that if you set it up with Gmail selected instead of Other then when you checked an email on the RAZR it would not show as Read on your Gmail account and same with Sent folder etc...
