Aug 23, 2012i have had my Atrix since Nov. havent had any issues with it, until last week when suddenly the radio would stop working. it says i have signal, but i recieve nothing nor am i am able to send anything (text, email, calls, etc) but i have signal. i havent downloaded any bad apps. i also have Norton to "protect" me against bad apps. is there anything that i can do? i have no warranty anymore so will rooting my phone help? also im patiently waiting for ICS but growing more impatient by the day. wish they would give us a little update.

Jun 12, 2012Both my wife and I have the Atrix 2 and have been pretty happy, especially since it is our first smartphones. Problem is with the FM Radio. When she is using her every (and I mean every) 45 minutes her phone shuts of the radio. I don't have any problems with mine. I tried going to both phone screen by screen and we both have everything set the same.

Jun 21, 2011This is my second Atrix. It is failing to turn on its' Bluetooth radio. I go to Settings > Wireless & Networks > Bluetooth (and Bluetooth Settings) and try to turn Bluetooth on. It indicates that it's turning on Bluetooth and then it fails, returning to the "Turn on bluetooth" message. I've rebooted, done a battery pull, tried to turn it on from Airplane mode...everything short of a factory reset (because I really really really don't want to set this thing up from scratch again!).

Dec 15, 2011I have a week that I bought an Atrix 2. My mobile networks tab in settings is locked that means that I cannot change to 2G only or 3G only. It is Automatic and grayed out! I would like to know if I can do anything to unlock that by any mean, custom ROM or whatever! Here the 3G connection is poor and unstable so my phone changes the type of connections every time by interrupting the call and also consuming the battery!

Dec 5, 2011I've got the atrix on t-mobile contract but cannot figure out how to set a custom ringtone for the SMS? I've got the custom one for the phone call. But the text message one has me baffled? I select text message >menu setting > messaging settings > select ringtone. But it doesn't offer the option to select a custom one.I've tried putting an mp3/m4a track in the notification folder by connecting the phone to a usb cable and pc, but the tracks dont show up in the select ringtone setting?

When using webtop and the firefox browser I sometimes get directed to the mobile site rather than the full web site of certain pages like Facebook and Twitter. Jul 2, 2015I just switched last week from my old note 1 to the S6 and I really enjoy it so far but the battery time bothers still a bit.
On my old note 1 and my 5.0 and 5.1 rom I never had Google play services and the android system consume more then 4-5% battery.
But now on my S6 it's always more than 20% battery usage.
And the mobile radio activity is always at the end of the day at one and a half our on play services and android system,never had that with my Note.
I don't usually surf more than 50 minutes while I'm at work.
The only apps I have installed are whatsapp,clash of clans and twitter.
I did a factory reset today only installed whatsapp and the damn battery drain is still there...
My provider/Mobile carrier is Vodafone Germany,and LTE on. I normally have 3 to 4 bars H+

Dec 18, 2012I did the Jelly Bean update on my two month old Atrix HD yesterday. Then my apps started closing on their own and then the homescreen started doing the same thing. Tried to do a FDR and I have the little android guy on my screen now with what looks like a rotating atom in his belly and a blue progress bar below him. Been like this for several hours now and I even tried calling the Motorola people and I'm still where I was. Can anyone offer a solution before I take it back to where I bought it from to see if they will even replace it? I did the holding down the volume buttons simultaneously and then the power button, got the motorola logo and then goes right back to this annoying little android guy with the rotating atom in his belly.
