Aug 11, 2012i know this phone has fm radio with RDS, but i can't find the app that allows you to use the radio or where do i have to "activate" the radio?

Aug 23, 2012i have had my Atrix since Nov. havent had any issues with it, until last week when suddenly the radio would stop working. it says i have signal, but i recieve nothing nor am i am able to send anything (text, email, calls, etc) but i have signal. i havent downloaded any bad apps. i also have Norton to "protect" me against bad apps. is there anything that i can do? i have no warranty anymore so will rooting my phone help? also im patiently waiting for ICS but growing more impatient by the day. wish they would give us a little update.

Jun 12, 2012Both my wife and I have the Atrix 2 and have been pretty happy, especially since it is our first smartphones. Problem is with the FM Radio. When she is using her every (and I mean every) 45 minutes her phone shuts of the radio. I don't have any problems with mine. I tried going to both phone screen by screen and we both have everything set the same.

Jun 21, 2011This is my second Atrix. It is failing to turn on its' Bluetooth radio. I go to Settings > Wireless & Networks > Bluetooth (and Bluetooth Settings) and try to turn Bluetooth on. It indicates that it's turning on Bluetooth and then it fails, returning to the "Turn on bluetooth" message. I've rebooted, done a battery pull, tried to turn it on from Airplane mode...everything short of a factory reset (because I really really really don't want to set this thing up from scratch again!).

Jul 31, 2011Sincer the GB update when I run the navigation app and tap the contacts option for a destination, it says that my contacts have no adresses. This is of course is incorrect. Nov 22, 2010Why can I not find the 'FM Radio' application for X10i? My old (K800i) SE phone had an FM radio built in and I got used to listening to as I do my rounds as I work (I have a walking job, some 8miles a day). The wifi/3G radio apps aren't what I need - I'm specifically after the one that requires you to have the earphones in to act as the antenna. I had assumed it simply didn't exist, so gave up.
But the other day I bought my daughter an X8 - which I understand is a 'lesser' machine than the X10. And it has the old FM Radio app built in! So why does a cheaper phone have something so simple but the X10 doesn't - and seems impossible to locate? I've hunted on the Market for it, but cannot locate the 'offical' one - but keep finding nasty looking apps that either need money or useless wifi/3g ones. I'm not after an 'internet radio' app, I need a real FM app.

Dec 18, 2012I did the Jelly Bean update on my two month old Atrix HD yesterday. Then my apps started closing on their own and then the homescreen started doing the same thing. Tried to do a FDR and I have the little android guy on my screen now with what looks like a rotating atom in his belly and a blue progress bar below him. Been like this for several hours now and I even tried calling the Motorola people and I'm still where I was. Can anyone offer a solution before I take it back to where I bought it from to see if they will even replace it? I did the holding down the volume buttons simultaneously and then the power button, got the motorola logo and then goes right back to this annoying little android guy with the rotating atom in his belly.
