I have followed the instructions suggested and it there is no option for text in the (more) menu whether in browser or replying.And copying links seems to be entirely hit or miss as well. I am finding this quite frustrating while trying to share links.
View 7 RepliesI can't find an option to change the resolution to a smaller size on the camera. The only option is widescren or 4:3. What if I want to use less space on my SD card when taking pictures?Is this something we can expect to see in the next software update?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI loved how my old iPhone made it easy to click on phone numbers, email addresses, and links in emails, texts, web pages, etc. especially when I wanted to click on an address to show it on the map. My Atrix has never done that. Until recently I thought it was just something I had to put up with.
However, I got so frustrated I finally went looking for an answer. Now it seems that my Atrix is supposed to work the same way, so I'm wondering what the problem is with mine. It gets phone numbers and email addresses in emails, but doesn't recognize addresses.
Is there a setting I'm missing, or do I have a problem? I'm using the Gmail app for email.
When I click from either the "Notification" screen, or the Text Message List, I am directed to the wrong text messaging thread. This doesn't happen every time, it happens every day, and multiple times, however. Usually, when I reboot the phone, the problem is gone...momentarily.
It seems to happen with random messages. I use Universal Inbox and currently see message from text, Facebook, Twitter, Gmail and my AT&T mail.
If I use the stock Text Messaging app, I can open the list of messages and see whatever I can from the preview there, but when I click to open the thread, it will open a totally random message thread. Weird. I'm not that into text messaging, but it does annoy me when I need to use it and I can't open individual messages because the wrong ones are appearing.
I don't know if this is a device problem, a software/app problem, an AT&T messaging problem or what. I'm somewhat ignorant about smartphones and have only had this Atrix 2 for about three months.
The Copy and Paste Function in Froyo was bad already. It is extremely difficult to highlight text in webpages. Ever since the Gingerbread update, the highlighting and copy & paste function is totally broken and unreliable. I can hardly able to select the text I want to highlight or able to move the cursor around. I am very dissapointed in this Gingerbread upgrade.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to find the best option for mobile internet access for my Xoom.I've ordered the D-Link DAP350 to be able to get wifi from wired internet, but am looking for a router that will accept an onlocked 3.5G modem. So, I looked at the CNet CQR-981 that will accept a USB modem (which the DAP350 apparently does not)The problem as I see it is that they all need some form of setting up/driver, and those will not be available for Andriod-or am I missing something? BTW, I've tried tethering my Xoom to my Nokia N8 both with wifi and BT.

I've tried everything. I have a video made on my phone of a wedding...only ~5-10 minutes. At any rate I cannot figure out how to get it off my phone & to my PC. I copy via camera/scanner & after ~10 minutes get an error that states it could not copy .my photos work fine. I've tried to view the video via Quick Time (latest version) & it states that the .Mov file is not something Quick time understands.what's up? How can move the file from my phone to PC?

It shows every 15 minutes (not thrilled with that either) but still won't do it. I really like the stock e-mail app with the gesture swipe too and just the general look of it. How can the g-mail app continuously sync and not this one? I have over 200 photos on my Torch that I want to copy to my computer, but when I connect the Torch to my laptop, it sayd I have 0 pictures. I've used the BB Desktop Software, and tried navigating the drive on my computer, but can't find any of my pictures either way. When I disconnect my BB from the computer, I can see my 216 pictures, but when connected, says I have none.

For example, when I go into my downloads and touch the screen to open (say) a PDF file, the screen goes dull and then returns to normal brightness and my file doesn't open. If I go into Documents to Go and open the PDF file it seems to work OK however?Same thing is happening with video files, for example I touch a video file to open it in VPlayer and, again, the screen goes dull and I can't access the video. Same with music whcih I can only access through the music player, not through other routes such as Astro file manager etc. Also when I try to open some links to websites embedded in emails etc the screen goes dull and then bright again and the links don't work.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Verizon Xoom running 3.2, and since the update it appers as though I cannot open a link to a web page, or a document from a file browser (File Manager HD and ES File Explorer) or a link from Newsr feed reader. when I click on a link, the screen darkens a bit as if transitioning, but then nothing happens.
