Sincer the GB update when I run the navigation app and tap the contacts option for a destination, it says that my contacts have no adresses. This is of course is incorrect. I have rebooted and even done a battery pull. I have avoided doing a full reset in the hopes someone here knows a fix for this.

I was trying to start the navagation app and select an address from Contacts to get directions. The response was no contacts have an address. The work around is to start up MAPS, find an address and then in the MAP app, select navigation. Is this how it is suppose to work? If not, is there a fix?
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhile phone numbers, email addresses, and random notes seem to have made the crossing from my old Palm Centro to my new Atrix the address fields did not. I still have the data in a desktop application and it would be fantastic if I could copy and paste them on my desktop and then sync them to my phone? Can I connect with the USB cable that came with the phone? I spent way to long doing it on the phone and I am only up to the Gs.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI loved how my old iPhone made it easy to click on phone numbers, email addresses, and links in emails, texts, web pages, etc. especially when I wanted to click on an address to show it on the map. My Atrix has never done that. Until recently I thought it was just something I had to put up with.
However, I got so frustrated I finally went looking for an answer. Now it seems that my Atrix is supposed to work the same way, so I'm wondering what the problem is with mine. It gets phone numbers and email addresses in emails, but doesn't recognize addresses.
Is there a setting I'm missing, or do I have a problem? I'm using the Gmail app for email.
My razr maxx all the sudden ended up with 15000 contacts in it. I should have about 200 at the most. No fooling, they are all email addresses. Of course only 200 are ones I know. How do I remove them?

View 4 Replies View RelatedNavigation automatically closes when Atrix goes to sleep, which is a pain while driving. The only solution is to wake up the phone, restart the navigation.
I have a HTC Incredible also and do not have the same problem on that device. FYI: I am on the latest system version 4.1.83
For the past couple of days my gps on my phone won't work. When I use the navigation it just says searching for gps but will not lock on and give me turn by turn directions. Have tried turn off/on. Especially when my buddy is right next to me in the car using google maps on his iPhone and his works great. We both have at&t.

The bluetooth works perfectly with the phone but the directions for the navigation won't come through. I don't have an aux plug on my car radio. When you select Contacts in Navigation you get "You don't have any contacts with addresses". This was all over the threads, you would think this would have been fixed with this update. Grrr...

View 1 Replies View RelatedEarlier I synced Contacts, Keychain and Calender on my Mac, iPhone and MobileMe. I made sure that I selected the option to have the data on the Mac replaced. Calender and Keychain synced correctly, however, Contacts on MobileMe and iPhone were lost and replaced with the Contacts on my Mac - which were none. I have no idea why this happened and I have no back up because I to do an erase and install of Leopard today. It isn't such a disaster as I have most of the contacts saved in other ways. is there any way I can copy or transfer the email addresses in my Mail App to the Contacts App? It is easy to do on received emails, but I can't figure out how to get the 'saved' email address to come up with the option to Create A New or Add To An Existing Contact.

I recently configured my Bold 9700 with a data account and added two E-mail addresses. One being personal, and the other being my school E-mail address. After doing this, I noticed that my contacts were doubled and in some cases, tripled. Some contacts say that they are sychronized to my personal E-mail, while the duplicates say that they are sychronized to my education email address. How can I solve this problem so that the duplicates are deleted? I have several hundred contacts and it is a pain to delete them manually.

I am trying to find out how I can go about hiding those factory installed contacts (like the AT&T ones). I've attempted to delete them, but it says unable to delete read only contacts/files, but that they can be hidden. I've looked under options/edit, and don't see a hide option/setting.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSomething happened to my contact database yesterday and now whenever I access any contacts, look at texts, etc. my phone is very slow to either start the SMS program (the force close/wait dialog continually comes up) or the contact takes a while for the data to appear.Is there a way to erase all the contacts out of the database and resync them all? If so, will erasing the contacts also erase call history, etc? If it does is there a way to not lose this information?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an ATRIX 4G upgraded to Gingerbread. Today, out of the blue, all my contacts suddenly got deleted. I syned my contacts with my gmail account but all the contacts with phone numbers are gone. I only have email ids. I did not have a SD card till some days back so I am assuming my contacts were stored on the phone's internal memory/SIM card. I tried to import contacts from my SIM card but it did not have any contacts stored.
Is there any way I can recover those contacts? I tried changing the display setting in contacts but to no avail. I hope someone can help. I had some important numbers in the list which will be difficult to reaquire.
