Why can I not find the 'FM Radio' application for X10i? My old (K800i) SE phone had an FM radio built in and I got used to listening to as I do my rounds as I work (I have a walking job, some 8miles a day). The wifi/3G radio apps aren't what I need - I'm specifically after the one that requires you to have the earphones in to act as the antenna. I had assumed it simply didn't exist, so gave up.
But the other day I bought my daughter an X8 - which I understand is a 'lesser' machine than the X10. And it has the old FM Radio app built in! So why does a cheaper phone have something so simple but the X10 doesn't - and seems impossible to locate? I've hunted on the Market for it, but cannot locate the 'offical' one - but keep finding nasty looking apps that either need money or useless wifi/3g ones. I'm not after an 'internet radio' app, I need a real FM app.
Like the title says my storm from Verizon will not turn the radio on. I pulled the battery, did a soft reset, and obviously went to manage connections but for some reason the phone wont find the network. Any thoughts on what i can do?
I have an iPhone 4 that I want to plug into my car so I can listen to my favorite online radio station. How do I do this? And is all I need is an A/C adapter? Please list all possibilitys.
(I really mean *FM* radio, and not 'internet streaming' radio)Ideally, a recording application that allows you to select the sound source (fm radio, mic, call, internet streaming, etc.) would be perfect, but I didn't find such a thing.
FM-radio volume is way too low compared to walkman and other apps.If i have max volume on bt-spekers/headset and max in z3 volyme is still very low, even hard to hear while jogging. Then again If starting walkman(or another sound app) at those settings it will explode in sound. Not that fun and easily happens by accident. Am i missing some setting here, it cant be normal that two apps have that differnet sound volyme out?
20 hours ago I became an Xperia Z2 owner; what an incredible device :-D I ve played a lot with a Z3,and altough it is easier to hold, I love the design of the Z2.
When playing FM Radio, the notification bar has 2 arrows left and right and the Stop button.
When pressing the arrow, it takes you to the next station and NOT to the next Saved/Favorite station.
Well, that 's wrong... If you have 6-7 favourite stations,it should skip through your favourite stations.
It's there a way to have the option of skipping through my favorite stations on the notification bar ?
Checked the forum and did not find any on this post! Ran my battery down to 4% and radio did not turn off. Has Rim done away with this feature? Not very often i have the battery down this low, and i know it is not good for the battery. I just wanted to see if it would turn off. I plugged my phone in at 4% so I did not run the battery any lower. I thought it was at 5% that it would turn off. Is the percentage lower? Or is RADIO OFF gone?
I have the bb curve 8330 and was trying to find out if I can play my iHeart radio over my car radio. The thing is I am unsure what device to use or how to go about it.
Only properly used the radio today but could only get it to play if I turned the screen off. That's fine if you know the station frequency but if you are wanting to search for a station and don't know the frequency you can't do it. How strange is that.
Whether the X10 supports FM radio firmware or software? I am quite get use to listening to the AM/FM radio with my previous phone, but I don't know whether this handset supports any FM Radio firmware or software?
My Xperia X10 will pair with the Bluetooth in my Mazda 3 and I can make phone calls okay, but whan I try to play music nothing comes through the speakers.
When I plug in my earphones, there is no sound output from the FM radio. Walkman app works fine so its not the jack or earphones. The FM app shows that the radio is on but there is no sound. I really don't want to factory reset..
On my Z3 I have no signal. In the service menu * # * # 4636 # * # * I found that the radio is turned off. After pressing the button to turn on the radio, nothing happens.
I just got my Z3(D6653) a week ago. As i was exploring my phone, i bumped into the "testing" setting by dialing *#*#4636#*#*. I went into phone info tapped the menu icon on upper right corner and "accidentally" selected USA band! There goes my signal, gone! I'm from Philippines and my provider is Globe telecom. So, how will i revert back my radio band?
Since I went to ICS, everytime I plug a jack into the headset socket on the phone, it automatically starts the FM radio - how do I disable that auto-function?
