Since I went to ICS, everytime I plug a jack into the headset socket on the phone, it automatically starts the FM radio - how do I disable that auto-function?

My phone keeps thinking that there's a headset connected, even though the slot is empty. So now I can no longer hear the person I'm on the phone with. I was wondering if it was possible to get around this by changing some settings so that either -the phone will emit sound through both the 'headset' and the output part where you normally put your ear when phoning. -the phone will ignore the 'headset' altogether and only emit sound the way it would if no headset were inserted.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI use a Bluetooth headset to listen to music that I have on the SD card but would also appreciate the option of listening to the radio on occasion. The problem is that the radio will only work once the wired headset is connected, as the cable is used as an aerial. Is there any way in which I can overcome this problem. I have tried plugging the wired heaset in so that the radio works through that, but then there is no sound through the Bluetooth headset. For the record, I have experienced an irritating problem since having upgraded to 2.3. I downloaded a few skins off the HTC Hub after which the downloading notification arrows on the top information bar as well as the download information on the information sheet could not be removed. I tried many options, to the extent of even deleting the apps concerned, but the notifications remained. The only way that I was able to clear them was to perform a full factory reset causing much information to be lost. I wonder how many others have experienced the same problem. Other than this the upgrade did improve a number of functions.

If I was fast enough to start a call, it will hang up on the call and the music will start. I have always used the car stereo AUX IN feature to take/make calls. I have to have the volume all the way down so it doesnt start to play music anymore.If I pause it from the lockscreen it won't start back up which is good. its done this before and stopped but now it's gone on for a week or 2 and it's just really annoying.

I found the SF200 manual and it points to the multi-function button (or MFB) but it does not say what it can do or how to change what it does. I have also searched the knowledge base and the forum. Can someone please point me to any information on how I might change what this button controls? It appears to only control one feature - it is currently set to pause/play and I would like to control forwarding to the next song instead.

When i put my mobile for charging, it automatically starts taking pictures and continues taking them. It takes about 800 pictures within an hour. What I can do. I have a W910i R1FA035. When my bluetooth headset is connected, as well as the wired headset to enable radio I cannot receive radio in my bluetooth headset. The sound comes in the wired headset only. I have tried vkp patches from top sony but it did not help.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI just bought the HX550 and have been using it on my X2. I really like the bluetooth. Probably the best one I have ever used, and I have used many. I found one glitch with my using it with my X2. After I end a call, the musical player starts automatically. And only when I use the HX550. Has never happened with any other bluetooth. I tried it with MotoSpeak installed and removed. Makes no difference.

I have two headsets, one in my vehicle and one in my office. They both work fine and work with other blackberry's and devices.The problem is when the headset is connected to the blackberry the software does not select this device as the default device for answering or placing calls. This is a real flaw in the programming and is a complete nuance. Every time I place or receive a call I must select the headset manually on the touch screen.All the other blackberry's make the transition automatically. Meaning they all send the call to the headset without any intervention from me. I do not understand how this feature could have been left out if all the previous blackberry's worked just fine.
