I found one glitch with my using it with my X2. After I end a call, the musical player starts automatically. And only when I use the HX550. Has never happened with any other bluetooth. I tried it with MotoSpeak installed and removed. Makes no difference.

Bluetooth headset is connected, music player is not running (or any other application, for that matter). When a phone conversation ends, or a missed call is received, the music player starts by itself. Note: I do not press any buttons on the headset or the phone.
how to prevent this annoying behavior?

Dec 8, 2014When I turn my phone off it starts to play whatever song it feels like that I have installed. Like right when I turn my phone off it'll start to play. I have to have the volume all the way down so it doesnt start to play music anymore.If I pause it from the lockscreen it won't start back up which is good. its done this before and stopped but now it's gone on for a week or 2 and it's just really annoying.

If I was fast enough to start a call, it will hang up on the call and the music will start. I have always used the car stereo AUX IN feature to take/make calls. Dec 1, 2011Does anyone notice the bluetooth volume is low when you first make a call? I notice each time I place a call, I have to tap the volume rocker up or down to boost volume to the preset listening volume. I've tried this on two separate headsets and both results are the same. I do make sure the volume is at the max on the my headset (plantronics hd pro) I am not sure if this a normal function on the admiral to protect the eardrum from unexpected sound.

Aug 7, 2012I hope this hasn't been asked before; if it has and I searched on the wrong keywords, my apologies.Is it possible to set the Lumia 710 up so that it ends a current call when I press the button on top of the phone to put it into standby mode?
I've been caught a couple of times when leaving voicemail messages by the fact that I press the button, the 'phone plays a "ker-lick" noise and the screen goes black; but when I switch it back on again, the connection's still open and the call is still on-going.
Normally, this isn't an issue, as the call ends when the other party puts their phone down, or the voicemail reaches the end of the available message time; but I recently called someone who's got an honest-to-goodness answerphone on the shelf next to their phone, and it was happy to leave the connection open for well over an hour. As a result, I've just received a bill from my provider costing two-and-a-half times as much as usual - money I can scarce afford as I'm currently "resting" between jobs.
It would be neat if switching the phone off (or, at least, putting the phone on standby) ended the current call.

May 3, 2011Most of the time when a call ends and I'm using my H17text headset the damn music player, or whatever media app was last used, will start playing EVEN THOUGH it was not running before the call. That would not be so bad but when you have a phone that's set to lock you have to unlock it and find the damn app that's running to get it to stop. This is just plain STUPID!
I've seen this posted all over the place so Motorola my phone when we know it's a ANDROID bug. What I want to know is how to get it to STOP! I'd rather have to manually restart the damn media app after a call that to have it always start with out me wanting it!

May 15, 2015I have the craziest damn bug you've ever heard... I have a ringtone that plays when a call comes in, answer the phone - the ringtone turns off, as expected. However, after I hang up, the ringtone will continue to play. I can adjust the volume, but since it's a ringtone, I don't know of an app to open to change it, other than opening my phone, calling voicemail, hang up, and still the ringtone persists (good thing I like the song — Brian Setzer and Jeff Beck's version of "Twenty Flight Rock".)
Powering off the phone is the only thing that can make it work and it seems to occur more often when the phone is charging (charged?) and plugged in (vs Qi charging).

I actually found it a very good idea, one of the best and most intuitive since I started to use it.ow I often do not end my calls properly and that cauese me a lot of trouble. Local SE customer support told me that it is a firmware matter and cannot be changed. Isn't there any HW buttons configurator or another way to configure the HW buttons on the phone?
