when i first got my phone (xperia neo l) my 3rd sony mobile i said yay and after a month i am ****** as **** iused to recommend sony mobile to every one now i tell all buy a chinese local phone instead

Today, for some reason, when I place my phone in a horizontal position, the 3D camera app starts itself up. when the phone is vertical, there's no problem. but when I lay it down . . . the camera loads. and when I go into the cached applications to kill it, there are always 4 instances of it running.

View 6 Replies View RelatedMy wife has a Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray, bought it roughly a month ago. After we updated her phone to ICS through PCC it occationally starts ringing for no reason. It has happened two times in the ~2 weeks she had ICS.The screen does not show anything special during the ringing sound, when the screen is unlocked we can just see the homescreen, no notifaction, nothing.The ringing is the "Sony Ericsson" ringtone and for what it is worth my wife is not using that ringtone for anything, not for incoming calls, notifications or alarms.The only way to stop the ringing seems to be to drag down the "top bar" which shows the clock, battery, signal strength, notifications and so on.
The presented solution seems to be chosen because they believed that it was only one isolated user having the problem. I however do believe that it is a software bug in the Xperia Ray ICS version.
i have a problem with my Active right now? the phone was very incredible when its starts at 2.3 then suddenly i heard a news that Xperia active has already an ice cream sandwhich o.s and i am happy that my new phone is starting with a new o.s after an hour the update of my phone was complete. so many changes ive seen? the u.i and less heat. then a day after tomorrow my phone starts to get hang once ive always open my applications especially browser and messeging always hang up and i dont know what to do?

View 3 Replies View Relatedprobably since the last Android Update to 4.0.4, my Ray with 4.1.B.0.587 starts self-actuated a permanent reboot loop whenever I am crossing the German-Austrian border and therefore reaching an Austrian (i.e. foreign) network.
The loop restarts whenever it reaches the point where it checks the SIM card and then starts with a Sony screen like when I switch it on. The loop can only be interrupted by removing the battery. OK, also by going back to Germany. I have full phone roaming authorization from my home network (vodafone), yet for data roaming I need to purchase day or week packages. Up to that Android update, all that worked perfectly, including tehtering.
So, in fact, I am currently not able to use my phone in foreign networks.
I have a Neo MT15i which was upgraded to the latest ICS patch through the OTA update. A few days late the phone suddenly appeared dead, and when i restarted (had to remove the battery), i get the phone start vibration but nothing appears on the screen.
I connected it to a PC and the PC companion was able to detect the phone, and i could even do the firmware upgrade. However the phone display refuses to switch on and none of the lights come on.
I then gave it to a local phone shop who said it was an issue with the phone and replaced the display and downgraded the firmware to 2.3.3. Again it worked for a few days and the same problem where the display shut down but i could get calls occured.
I tried many options given in the forum for xperia phones (press the power and volume up, remove battery and connect the charger, and then add the battery, etc) but no avail. now i get the start vibration from the phone, but nothing more.
my xperia x 10 starts up but stays on the Sony Ericsson logo and wont go past it even tough ive updated it?

So I went to my service provider and they didn't sell any actual Xperia x10 chargers so I bought a universal charger. So now I'm on my second charger, and my phone won't charge. Any time I plug it in or even get it started it either turns off or the battery starts draining instead of charging. I don't know what to do with this phone. There is no water damage and I haven't even had my phone for a year.

It is somehow stuck in a reset loop, it starts in safe mode, is locked and won't allow me to press any buttons at all. Once it is turned on i have to remove the battery to turn it off. View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a bb torch on vodafone uk and for the last week or so when I turn the phone on I get a list of options from vodafone like, horoscopes,weather,customer services,news etc if I click on one it will send a txt to me about such subject but I want rid! On vodafone mobiles u get a little sim like icon on the home screen that pulls up this menu but it is coming up automatic when phone is turned on! Have tried the usual battery pull but no joy. Its not a massive deal but does get quite anoying when u go to get ur phone out and end up sending for the latest vodafone prices etc.
View 1 Replies View RelatedTHis is really strange. I power down my Driod X and confirm that it is shut down. When I return a few hours later, I find that the Droid has turned itself back on. I even tried the new Sleep mode (which is supposed to power off all radios), but when I check it later, it is on and receiving messages, emails, etc. Does the Droid X have an feature that turns it on when it receives a message, etc? IS there a way to turn this off.
PS. I don't like using hte Airplane Mode, because it doesn't always turn the radios back on properly when I turn it off. Have to restart Droid to get everything working properly.

View 13 Replies View RelatedI have a issue with my LG G4. When i use chrome or different apps on my G4, then suddenly the phone quits the app and starts another. It is tapping by its own on random links when i am on chrome etc. without me touching the screen. To provoke og trigger the effect, i can start the Antutu touch screen test. When i touch the screen with sometimes only 3 fingers,then the it goes completely mad. It begins tapping all over the screen, and it then quits the Antutu app and starts alot of other apps and it just keeps on doing the random tapping until i stop touching the screen. After this i go to the chrome app and start reading an artical, then suddenly it taps on links og quits chrome.
