After upgrading my phone to lillpop android the alarm notification is not working correctly. When the alarm rings my lcd starts to blinking fastly and the screen jumps so i cant turn the alarm off.

I have a problem with my Neo V. After one of chargings after 10 min my battery discharged completely, without using telephone. It was really warm (maybe some overheating?). I recently bought a Z5 compact. I was using Android KitKat (on Nexus 4) and I had a notification from the Alarm 2 hours before it rings (which also allows me to switch it off if I was already awoken for instance). It seems to have disappeared with Android Lollipop, and in spite of my searches, I couldn't find a solution.Is there a way to stop an alarm without desactivating it ?

View 4 Replies View RelatedOn main page in Active Standby, it shows all To-Dos as pending including those from future as well, like it will say 10 pending tasks while actually 2 are pending while 8 are still from some future date. This was not an issue with my earlier 6120.
To-Do alarm rings only once. Any time I miss a To-Do alarm there is no way that it reminds me again that I missed it until I check my Calender. There should be something like repeatedly ringing every 5 minutes till we respond.

The Photon is my 3rd Android.I have noticed that each phone , whether smartphone or not, has the same issue that has caused me to miss incoming phone calls here and there - the caller dials my number and hears several rings before my phone actually starts ringing. The phone goes to voicemail before I have the opportunity to answer the phone.The solution for my phones has always been to adjust the Slot Cycle index from the default setting of 2 to the setting of 0. This causes the phone to poll towers more frequently, thus the phone is more quickly aware of a new incoming call. The only negative implication is that the phone goes through battery a bit more quickly during the day...but it's really only a tiny difference. I've done this on my phones, on my spouse's phones, my mom's phone, etc.
Since the Photon's battery life is so much better than my prior phone (EVO 4G) I am very comfortable in adjusting the Slot Cycle index, so I obtained my MSL from Sprint and attempted the adjustment by going to the Dialer:##DATA# ->tap green Dial icon -> to the Data Settings menu...tap Advanced->From there you can see that the Slotted Index is set to 2. So I wanted to change the setting but can't get to it from Menu->Edit->enter MSL code->VerifyI called Sprint about this issue, and in the past they have helped me to change the setting. I have called more than once and have been dealing with the more advanced Tech Support team. No one at Sprint can figure out how to adjust this setting on the Photon.
At the top left of my N8 there is this blinking envelope and the 'sim card full' msg. appears as I touch it. no contacts and no sms on the sim card. Contacts > Options > Memory > SIM Memory - shows 0 Contact persons and Free=500.All SMS msgs are deleted (no unread sms).How to have this blinking stop?

View 6 Replies View RelatedMy wife has a Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray, bought it roughly a month ago. After we updated her phone to ICS through PCC it occationally starts ringing for no reason. It has happened two times in the ~2 weeks she had ICS.The screen does not show anything special during the ringing sound, when the screen is unlocked we can just see the homescreen, no notifaction, nothing.The ringing is the "Sony Ericsson" ringtone and for what it is worth my wife is not using that ringtone for anything, not for incoming calls, notifications or alarms.The only way to stop the ringing seems to be to drag down the "top bar" which shows the clock, battery, signal strength, notifications and so on.
The presented solution seems to be chosen because they believed that it was only one isolated user having the problem. I however do believe that it is a software bug in the Xperia Ray ICS version.

When people are phoning me, I can hear it ring once, and then it rejects it. The people phoning all say they get told that the phone is busy on another line and are being sent directly to voice mail.
This problem has been ongoing the past 4 days. I receive about 1 in every 20 phone calls.
I have tried to change from 4G to 3G and to GSM, but that did not work.
I have my xperia z3 for about two weeks, not rooted, not unlocked, without any modifications. Yesterday before sleep it was with more than a half of akku, today as im woke up and got it in my hands it was off, im plugged charging cable, was thinking maybe the battery was drained, but nothing happens still, its just blinking red (led).
Was trying to hold power + volume up, nothing. Reset key near sim dont works for me either - i'm just notice 3x vibrations and thats it, its just repeat vibrate 3x times again and again but nothing happens, no boot.
