Motorola Atrix 4G :: Cancel GB Upgrade After It Starts?
Jul 29, 2011My wife received the notice today to upgrade to GB OTA. She accidentally hit download, but must have been on Edge signal. The down load is at the very beginning, but is asking her to connect to wifi to finish the download. Is there away to cancel the download to upgrade later? I tried powering off the phone and going into the phone status menu with no luck.

Jul 17, 2011I have my screen set to a 2 minute timeout and have the phone set to hang up by pressing the top button. When I am using the speakerphone, after 2 minutes, the screen goes blank and there is nothing I can do to get it back. The only button that works is the top button and that hangs up the call.

Sep 19, 2011After a weekend of operation I tried to turn WiFi on only to have it turn itself off after 15-30 sec. It happened 3 times before I powered down and back up, that fixed the problem. It may be a memory leak as the phone had been on for 3 days, or maybe it was related to the fact that it had gotten to a low battery state over the weekend and it turned off some services to save battery and didn't turn them back on after it was charged. I have very few apps loaded and dont think thats the problem, but I did use Googles navigator this weekend for the first time since I updated to GB.

Dec 28, 2011Have an Atrix 2, ive had this phone for about 3 months now and since last month ive been having with the wifi turning off by itself, or shows being connected and its not. Now at first i tought it was my router, so i got another one and still the same thing. it does this not just at home but to any wifi network. im pretty sure this is a hardware related problem, however it could be software also, i have gotin noware execpet from Moto Send your phone in, so in about 2 to 3 weeks ill have it back with no way of having a phone, plus ill still have to pay at&t, second at&t have never hered of the atrix 2 having wifi problems and offered to exchange the device for my warrenty deductable of $150.00, what should i do, i would also like to here from the community to see if there are anyone else with the same problems se we can address these to Motorola and At&T.

Jan 21, 2013My phone used to keep a charge for THREE days...it was wonderful! Now since the update, I have to charge it every day even if it's just standby. Plus, if I'm on a call with the screen turned off, when an incoming call comes in, I am unable to turn the screen back on in order to answer. Plus, sometimes the phone is so sensitive that when the face is pressed up against it, it goes haywire and cancels out a call. The sensitivity is way too high. I am using Straight Talk as my provider so is there a way, I can remove all the AT&T stuff? And which ones do I not need? I don't like a lot of bloatware on my phone.

Mar 11, 2011A few weeks ago my charger started showing signs of needing to be replaced. So I went to my service provider and they didn't sell any actual Xperia x10 chargers so I bought a universal charger. So now I'm on my second charger, and my phone won't charge. Any time I plug it in or even get it started it either turns off or the battery starts draining instead of charging. I don't know what to do with this phone. There is no water damage and I haven't even had my phone for a year.

Now, there is an option in Settings -> Location & Security -> Use tactile feedback. It only works partially. It enabled fingerprint authentication produces one short and one long vibration. When disable it is down to one short vibration. I am curious is this a bug or a feature?

Jun 22, 2011Anybody know of an app or method to disable the screen lock when a bluetooth connection is established? It would be great if it would re-enable when the connection is dropped. I would find this particularly helpful when using my Atrix as a music player or when in the car so that I don't have to unlock with a pin or fingerprint (which can be difficult when in a dock).Perhaps, I have to disable the lock completely.

The light continues to blink, but no matter what buttons I press or press and hold, even the power button, the light continues to blink and the phone hangs. The only way is to remove the battery and restart the phone.
Is this a bug in the phone? I've never had such problems with previous Nokia phones. With the previous phones, once the user forgets to turn off the reminder alarm or set it to snooze, after a minute or so, the phone stops vibrating and blinking and the message hides in the background.

But now I don't want the alarm anymore.The only option I have in this BB in the clock tab is Weekdays ON / OFF [blue in color in the centre of the clock].I do not have any third option of OFF, irrespective of weekdays/weekends.But it still rings sometimes though being OFF for the weekdays & the alarm time in red still shows & the tiny alarm/clock icon even shows on the desktop.

Motorola :: Droid X Starts Up On Its Own
Jun 14, 2011THis is really strange. I power down my Driod X and confirm that it is shut down. When I return a few hours later, I find that the Droid has turned itself back on. I even tried the new Sleep mode (which is supposed to power off all radios), but when I check it later, it is on and receiving messages, emails, etc. Does the Droid X have an feature that turns it on when it receives a message, etc? IS there a way to turn this off.
PS. I don't like using hte Airplane Mode, because it doesn't always turn the radios back on properly when I turn it off. Have to restart Droid to get everything working properly.

Jan 1, 2016Whenever you turn on the phone, or whenever you come back from a blank screen, my Motorola Droid Turbo always starts at the default Phone app. This is really frustrating because you have to close this screen before you can get to the Home screen to do anything else. It also has been the cause of a number of accidental dialings since it defaults to the Speed Dial screen and all the dial buttons are there ready to use. Is there any way to change this?
