I like to read at night with my phone (using Moon+ Reader), unfortunately, the softkey backlights stay on all of the time. I have looked for apps to disable these lights, but nothing works so far.

I previously had a motorola bravo and when i had an incoming call it would always blink blue and battery low, red and for a message green. I just upgraded to an atrix 2 and i have none of these.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI don't really know for sure when it started, but probably within the last month or so, my Atrix 4G has started randomly restarting on its own. It doesn't seem to be triggered by anything specific I do with the phone. I'll just look over at my phone because it lights up and sure enough, it's restarting. It does it when I'm using it and when I'm not.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI just bought my phone this weekend. It had been fine, but for no reason this evening it started lighting up to display the time every single minute. Its been going on for hours. I've tried looking in settings etc. to see if I did anything to change this, but can't find a reason for it.I allow the phone to go into sleep mode. And then when the time changes to each next minute it flashes for a second or two then goes back to sleep. How do I stop it from doing this? This is new as of this evening. I use my phone as my alarm clock so it will be very annoying to try to sleep with this thing lighting up every minute.

I'm looking in display options and even searched the settings but didn't find anywhere to turn off. In previous versions we could turn this off in display.
I love my Atrix HD but one key feature that is missing is the ability to enable and disable LTE mode. By that I do not mean just turning on and off data services. Many other Android phones have the ability to select the radio band that you wish to use. It gives the owner of the product the ability to move down to 3G or Edge service if he or she wishes. As it is now we are all forced into LTE mode.

Now, there is an option in Settings -> Location & Security -> Use tactile feedback. It only works partially. It enabled fingerprint authentication produces one short and one long vibration. When disable it is down to one short vibration. I am curious is this a bug or a feature?

I have my only enabled language set to US English but the button is still there, robbing space that I used to use for the space bar. Anybody know of an app or method to disable the screen lock when a bluetooth connection is established? It would be great if it would re-enable when the connection is dropped. I would find this particularly helpful when using my Atrix as a music player or when in the car so that I don't have to unlock with a pin or fingerprint (which can be difficult when in a dock).Perhaps, I have to disable the lock completely.

They all light up or they all don't, it's not just one of them. They're lit when I wake up the display, they'll go off after a while, sometimes just stay off briefly, other times stay off for a while. Is there any protocol for when the lights should be on or off? View 3 Replies View RelatedI did the Jelly Bean update on my two month old Atrix HD yesterday. Then my apps started closing on their own and then the homescreen started doing the same thing. Tried to do a FDR and I have the little android guy on my screen now with what looks like a rotating atom in his belly and a blue progress bar below him. Been like this for several hours now and I even tried calling the Motorola people and I'm still where I was. Can anyone offer a solution before I take it back to where I bought it from to see if they will even replace it? I did the holding down the volume buttons simultaneously and then the power button, got the motorola logo and then goes right back to this annoying little android guy with the rotating atom in his belly.
