My screen turns on to the lock screen every time I receive a text (or mms) and it is driving me nuts! I would like to just hear the sound and see the LED light up. I am using Light Flow to control the LED colors and have looked at every option to disable the screen waking up to no avail (side note: is there a better app for LED color control?).

My Iphone (white) turns on then off then on then off then on then off! Finaly when I eventually get to the lock screen it says: conect to power but I charged it last night and the percent bar (top right) says 100% . Now it says to charge with itunes? What am I supposed to do!

I have this very annoying problem with my GS5. When the screen is locked and is plugged into the charger, anytime I receive a text message the screen lights up and NEVER automatically puts itself back to sleep. The screen will dim, but stay lit until I physically press the lock button.

This has been an option on all my past Android phones, but my screen does not wake up when I receive a text. The notification sound and LED goes off, but that's it. Am I missing something?

I turned the phone off with the power button and tried to turn it on again, The instant i press the power button the screen turns on (stays black but becomes a dark grey with the backlight) for about 30 seconds, but nothing else happens, the screen turns off after those 30 seconds and its back to square 1.I have tried turning it on again without a sim card, or memory card, or both and still the same result
How to disable the "car mode" feature on the desire model? It turns itself on automatically and when I try to disable it it just turns back on again, it's been going on for weeks and is really annoying because it turns on the loud speaker automatically. There is no mention of a car mode facility in the user guide.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a little problem, if we can consider this a problem. When i receave a SMS from a friend X, my Blackberry lag (the screen doesn't change, for like 0.5 sec). But when I receave a SMS from let's say Y, it can take up to 5 to 10 seconds before the screen move or I can move with the track pad to see the message. It's annoying.
So here is what I think, Is this because.. :
- I have over 35 000 SMS in the DB ?
- I have like 100 SMS from X and 5000 from Y ?
- My phone is on the vibrator but for Y he has a music ?
- Is this OS 5 ? But he is faster then OS 4 and I updated a while ago ?

So I can receive texts from everyone in my contacts and who I normally text, but this one girl in my contacts has been telling me she receives my texts but then complains when I dont answer her, but I have not been receiving these texts. So I am curious as to what could be the problem with my Iphone 4? Ive updated it to 5.1 today to see if that was the problem but we are still having issues, and I also checked that she is also using verizon.

I have an LG G3 and every time I am on the lock screen and I cover the sensors (I think it is called the ambient light sensor or proximity I am not sure) the screen turns off, even if I use the physical power button and not double tap to wake. It makes it difficult to use while in an arm band case, also when trying to check it while keeping it inside my back pack since it keeps going off until I take it out and unlock it.

However my wife bought the Atrix2 and she says the screen shuts off on her when the she touches the screen. It is not a timeout setting either.
