Apr 25, 2015I have a Galaxy S5 and after upgrading to lollipop I now have text message logging in my recent "calls". Which I have zero interest in having. I've toyed with all the settings and tried some of the tricks that seemed to work in the past (hitting home instead of back not restarting etc) and everytime I so much as close the application it resets back to showing "all" which includes my texts. Is there a way other than downloading an external app to fix this?

Does anyone know how to get the text app to only reply to the primary sender in a text message - and not to everyone on the text list of recipients? It can get very dicy with this auto-reply to all. The stock texting app and Handcent do NOT have that option, that I can find.

I have an OTG adapter and am trying to use a mouse to navigate the phone but the touch sensor is still taking me where I don't want to go. Jun 7, 2012I have been reading a lot about the Neo V and I am thinking about buying one but I have just found out something really disturbing: you cannot disable the light sensor. The auto brightness feature works in a way that is undesirable to most people because the screen is too dim when in a dark room or viewing a dark video. (I looked at a friend's Xperia Play, which I think has this same "feature"... it was so dim in a darker room that it was really unpleasant to use - is it the same with Neo V?)
I have read that the only possible way to get around this is root your phone and install an application that disables the light sensor.
Of course I do not want to root the phone because I do not want to risk my warranty. But this auto brightness feature bothers me so much that I might just not buy the phone at all because it would be really annoying to have this nice phone, but with a dark, dim screen. I know, it saves battery life, but what's the point of having a nice display with a dim screen.
Has this changed at all with the ICS update?

I know I know!, I have nearly 2gig of space left on my internal memory, I could understand it if was only 200mb, if I can't fill up that last two gig without getting such harrasmemt from my phone then why even state that the phone has 16gig internal ram if use 2gig of it?

Jul 19, 2015 So I cracked my phone a while ago, had the screen replaced at a local place and the screen looks fine, the phone functions almost 100% perfectly.
The thing that bugs me is that the phone seems to have the proximity sensor always on. When I answer a call, the screen turns black, and I am unable to turn the screen on until the call ends. I would rather just have the proximity sensor completely off. I just want my screen to be on when I'm on calls, or at least able to turn on with the power button.
