I accidentally dropped my phone and managed to ruin the microphone, so for the moment i use my headphones as michrophone. I have noticed though you hang up the call when pressing the powerbutton, with this setting i cant lock the screen while in a call with headphones. Wich mean i cant have my phone in my pocket while having a call. The phone i am using is a Sony Z2 with lollipop 5.0.2.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Neo MT15i which was upgraded to the latest ICS patch through the OTA update. A few days late the phone suddenly appeared dead, and when i restarted (had to remove the battery), i get the phone start vibration but nothing appears on the screen.
I connected it to a PC and the PC companion was able to detect the phone, and i could even do the firmware upgrade. However the phone display refuses to switch on and none of the lights come on.
I then gave it to a local phone shop who said it was an issue with the phone and replaced the display and downgraded the firmware to 2.3.3. Again it worked for a few days and the same problem where the display shut down but i could get calls occured.
I tried many options given in the forum for xperia phones (press the power and volume up, remove battery and connect the charger, and then add the battery, etc) but no avail. now i get the start vibration from the phone, but nothing more.
i recently upgraded my x10i to android 2.1, everytime i press the power button to lock the screen it disconnect me from my network, no service message appears, so everytime i press the power button again to unlock the screen i have to enter my pincode and reconnect again, hence, i dont recieve any messages and calls whenever i lock the screen or when screen times out?

Unfortunately the phone is unusable as it keeps either turning itself off, or totally locking up (I'm not sure which). It won't re-awaken using either the on/off switch or the home button. Also the camera performance, my x10 mini camera is far better than the mini pro. but the main issue here is the device sk17i turns itself off.

Problems that we experience on all three phones are as follows; If I look at the video file and turn the phone 90 degrees (it does not matter if I turn it left or right), then screen lock lock the screen immediately. I can not unlock the phone as long as the phone is in the same position. I have to turn it back 90 degrees for it to go to unlock it. The same happens even if I want to play games and have to turn my phone 90 degrees, or if I want to photograph or record a film. If I do not turn my phone 90 degrees, then everything works as it should, but it is supposed to be able to rotate the phone, depending on what you do without screen lock locks my phone immediately?

I have called Nokia and have exhusted every option which included reloading Bella. Last resort is Nokia want's me to send my phone to Texas for a tech to investagate the problem. I think there is some kind of software problem with the locking of the phone screen and the locking switch logic on the side of the phone. When I removed the phone from my holder, the screen was black and frozen and none of the button worked, not even the touch screen. The phone works correctly if I open the slide but shuts off when I close the slide again. When the slide is opened I have no on screen typing and have to use the keyboard on the slide. After downloading an application from App World, when you run the application for the first time, it will ask you if you want to "share personal information." Whether it is checked or unchecked, the screen just freezes up after clicking "OK."
This is a brand new device and I am already experiencing several screen lock up issues. I have already done a hard / soft reset, as well as a battery pull. I have also uninstalled the application and re-installed it, only to have this issue continue.
Any way to "lock" the main screen during a phone call? My wife's S5 screen changes to a clock or other application while she is talking on the phone. I believe her cheek may be hitting the screen. The sensitivity setting is down. I am trying to find a setting to lock the screen while on the phone.

My iphone 5 keeps randomly locking, and even prompts to turn itself off. When hovering my finger over the lock screen button, it does the exactly the same thing.. without even touching it. However, the button works! It clicks when pressed so its not an issue with the actual button.

For example if I play a YouTube video it loads fine, it starts to play but about 10 secs in the screen freezes yet the audio continues. Other issues also occur when I try to skip parts of a video it just refuses to load. Its occurring throughout all videos on all formats no matter if I go through a browser. Have also tried WiFi versus data no difference.
