I accidentally dropped my phone and managed to ruin the microphone, so for the moment i use my headphones as michrophone. I have noticed though you hang up the call when pressing the powerbutton, with this setting i cant lock the screen while in a call with headphones. Wich mean i cant have my phone in my pocket while having a call. The phone i am using is a Sony Z2 with lollipop 5.0.2.

My X10 with 2. 1 doesn't lock the touch screen when I'm on a call. When I'm done with the call the phone is in various places on the phone book. The phone is set to lock at 2 minutes for various reasons and I don't want to change that only when I'm on the phone call.

Unfortunately the phone is unusable as it keeps either turning itself off, or totally locking up (I'm not sure which). It won't re-awaken using either the on/off switch or the home button. Also the camera performance, my x10 mini camera is far better than the mini pro. but the main issue here is the device sk17i turns itself off.

View 9 Replies View RelatedEvery time i end a call, i can see the phone is allways doing something else, like browsing the web, or opening the gps aplication. Last but not list, for several times and unexpectedly i hold the call, or i end it by mistake.
I'm sure this happens because i keep telling it to do it (with my face touching the screen, during the calls!!!)
The phone have those 3 physical buttons on the bottom, (the red one, the green one and the menu one) and lets face it, those are the same 3 buttons existing in all nokia non-touchscreen phones).
So, two questions:
a) With those 3 buttons, why do i need the touch screen during a call??
b) Is there any option or aplication or trick to automatically lock the screen on the moment i start a call (incoming or outgoing) and unlock it when i end the call?
I have an S5 for my work device. It is locked into the corporate policies setup by my IT department.
My first issue is - as part of policy, I must have a strong password and my phone auto locks after 30 minutes. When I make calls, even 3 second phone calls, the phone will lock after I hang up.
My second issue is kind of linked to the first - when my phone is connected to my Sony Car Stereo, it disables the keyboard so I cannot type (obviously a safety feature), which is fine because I do not drive and text/email etc. except that after I take a call, I cannot unlock my phone to allow me to make another call.
During a call my screen goes blank; I am unable press the end call immediately ..

It then responds to anything, not even on the Power button until the other ends the call. Then, the screen lights up again and it goes back all normal.

I have called Nokia and have exhusted every option which included reloading Bella. Last resort is Nokia want's me to send my phone to Texas for a tech to investagate the problem. I think there is some kind of software problem with the locking of the phone screen and the locking switch logic on the side of the phone. When the problem happens the sceen will not work to my touch. The sceen freezes without touching.

When I removed the phone from my holder, the screen was black and frozen and none of the button worked, not even the touch screen. The phone works correctly if I open the slide but shuts off when I close the slide again. When the slide is opened I have no on screen typing and have to use the keyboard on the slide. When I put the phone back in my hands free kit, the slide needs to be closed so I cannot answer any calls or use the touch screen.

After downloading an application from App World, when you run the application for the first time, it will ask you if you want to "share personal information." Whether it is checked or unchecked, the screen just freezes up after clicking "OK."
This is a brand new device and I am already experiencing several screen lock up issues. I have already done a hard / soft reset, as well as a battery pull. I have also uninstalled the application and re-installed it, only to have this issue continue.

My iphone 5 keeps randomly locking, and even prompts to turn itself off. When hovering my finger over the lock screen button, it does the exactly the same thing.. without even touching it. However, the button works! It clicks when pressed so its not an issue with the actual button.

Just got my X6 16gb. Is there any way that i can extend the screen locking time or even stop it locking itself. Also, I'm using the 'You Tube' app that came with the phone and whenever i try to watch a video, it takes ages to buffer then plays about 3 seconds before buffering again. Is this normal?

I thought the battery had died or become disconnected, so I pulled the battery, put it back in, and plugged it in to charge. I came back to my phone's screen going haywire. It's locking and unlocking itself repeatedly inside the time of a single second. The sensor that I've noticed sometimes gets blocked and turns the screen off is clear, the battery is fully charged, and the screen is unresponsive. Once the caller cancels the call, the screen lights back up. It happens whether the keypad is locked or not.
Really strange, it's only intermittent but really annoying when you can't answer your phone?
Anyhow, out of the box, whenever he opened something that could have a landscape orientation - web browser, menus, etc - the screen would automatically turn to that orientation and he would have to turn his phone to use it, ie, no matter how he held it, it would *always* change to landscape.Going into the display settings and turning off "Auto-rotate" screen keeps the screen in portait mode, but then lansdcape doesn't work at all.We did a power off and battery removal and now the phone always stays in portrait mode irresepective of what the display setting is set to.
The odd thing is, the NFS game that comes on it plays perfectly?!Just wondering if anyone has had this issue and managed to fix it without having to return the phone? (it came from Amazon, so it's not as simple as walking into a store and swapping it)
My phone starting locking yesterday and on pressing the home putting brings up the message reactivating phone & brings up the Sony Ericcson start up screen. Then shoes "Emergency Nos Only". It won't receive texts but I am able to send them. Calls appear to be working ok other than I had a couple of missed calls yesterday which apparently rang once and then said phone is switched off. I have done a reset but it's still the same.I've also had a problem with apps appearing on the home screen without me putting them there - I had four digital clocks on it yesterday. Is this a software problem?
