On my Z3 I have no signal. In the service menu * # * # 4636 # * # * I found that the radio is turned off. After pressing the button to turn on the radio, nothing happens.

View 3 Replies View RelatedA few days ago the battery completely discharged and the phone switched off so i recharged it but initially i couldn't turn it on, it kept vibrating but the screen remained black. After several attempts (startup screen appearing but shutting off) i got it to turn on but the touch screen wasn't responding, i couldn't unlock the keypad. I was beginning to think my phone was bricked but taking the battery out and reinserting it seems to have sorted things out. Now i'm reluctant to let the battery fully discharge in case it happens again and i can't recover the phone!
Is this a bug caused by the update? I've read of others having similar issues. Yesterday for a few hours i couldn't dl apps from the store which is why i ask as similarly others have had this issue since updating. My X10 came with the update but was fine up until then.
I turned off the 3G network and wish to connect to the Internet via the WiFi connection. My WiFi is enabled and has a valid IP address. I can ping the WiFi gateway, I can also ping an external host (google.com which resolves to 74.125.224.134). DNS lookup also works just fine and I can ping various hostnames directly. So, the ICMP packets are traversing the network. In WiFi Diagnostics (Advanced), I see a valid local IP address (192.168.5.190) and gateway (192.168.5.1, which is also the local DNS server / DNS relay agent).So, I want to pull data (web pages, etc.) from the Internet using the WiFi only (with the 3G cell / mobile network disabled). But when I turn off the mobile radio, I get this error: "Cannot visit web page when radio is turned off. Please turn on the radio and try again."
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have an iPhone 4s (Verizon). I had recently purchased what was described as an OEM screen plus LCD after I had cracked my factory screen. After replacing the screen and LCD such features as the side volume controls, vibrate switch, and proximity switch (dimming after accepting a call) have stopped working. I double checked to see that all of the connectors were pushed on correctly and they were. Is it possible this may not be an OEM screen and causing the problem or is there a piece of the hardware that I may have damaged that controls all of these functions (i.e. motherboard)?

When she is using her every (and I mean every) 45 minutes her phone shuts of the radio. I don't have any problems with mine. I tried going to both phone screen by screen and we both have everything set the same.

I got some issues while switching on my phone. Today my phone has automatically downloaded system update, after completion i installed that update and few minutes after installation, phone restarted and shows this massage "The software update failed. Make sure that your phone is connected to computer and try again."
I connected my phone to the computer but still shows the same message and shuts down automatically and im not using any custom recovery.

At work, I don't get a signal, so I have been turning off the radio...and in that state, after 24 hours, the battery is usually still at 100%.Now....my battery is draining down to 40% in 5 hours....any thoughts anyone?

At the top of the screen is says service required and has an X next to the signal indicator. I am running OS 4.6.I've tried pulling out the battery, going into manage connections and turning it on (the box never will check) and tried to register in the host routing tables all to no avail. I've also tried wiping the device and restoring the OS.

Whenever I switch the wifi on, it says that it is unable to turn the wifi on. I left the battery out for half an hour on THursday night which seems to have worked for a while, but the problem has manifested itself again. I have done a security wipe and re-installed the latest software.I somehow dont think that it's hardware related otherwise it wouldnt work, would it? My blackberry maps also dont work and it says that the GPS is unavailable. View 2 Replies View RelatedI have been using Inernet Radio happily on my e63 for some time on the vodafone network in Australia and frequently listened over GPRS.I recently signed up to Telstra and the first time I started Internet Radio after inserting my new SIM I received a "terms and conditions" notice - as if this was the first time I was using it.
Now, only my WIFI access points and Telstra MMS are showing up in the available access points for internet radio - I can't see the Telstra Internet access point so I'm no longer able to to listen to Internet Radio over GPRS!!

I am not able to switch on the bluetooth in my motorola defy.I have 2.2.2 froyo version of android.As I am not using much bluetooth I was unaware of its not working status.I dont have any idea since when bluetooth is not working in my phone.I probably guess it may have happened because i may have killed some application which resulted in deletion of bluetooth related core files.Also, In My Defy the bottom four buttons( Options, Home , Return , Search ), the return button shows no background light but the other 3 shows background light when it is under low light condition. My problem is that my phone won't switch to landscape mode. When I take pictures, it won't turn over, and all other apps, even when I play games like Temple Run, it won't allow the character to move side to side. Â
I have checked to see if my phone's orientation lock is on, which it is not. I have done a hard reset which did not fix it. I also did a restore where I restored it completely and set it up as a new phone, and restored it and set it up with a backup.
I just started using Internet Radio this week. Tonight I was picking a station on my favorites list and hit cancel while it was loading, since then no stations will load, they have quick timeout errors. I tried unistalling Internet Radio and reinstalling but this does not work. It seems something is hung up or frozen somewhere. If I click on genres same thing, nothing loads, but if I "Go to Station" and type in the web address it plays, but I dont have the thousand of lists of radion stations to view anymore.
