Checked the forum and did not find any on this post! Ran my battery down to 4% and radio did not turn off. Has Rim done away with this feature? Not very often i have the battery down this low, and i know it is not good for the battery. I just wanted to see if it would turn off. I plugged my phone in at 4% so I did not run the battery any lower. I thought it was at 5% that it would turn off. Is the percentage lower? Or is RADIO OFF gone?
Just recently my Bold 9650 has been periodically losing the radio connection. I usually only notice it when I attempt to place a call and get the 'radio connection off' message. When I attempt to restore the connection (via Quicklaunch) nothing happens. I have to do a hard reset to get the connection back which is a pain in the a**. I noticed it this time right after I was connected to Desktop Manager. Any correlation?
New to the Blackberry experience. I've owned this phone for about a month. I've been happy so far, but now my wi-fi radio internal phone software will not start. I have downloaded APS on this phone, it worked for the first month, but now, nothing. Nothing I do can make that wi-fi radio start up, so I cant even scan from my home wi-fi.... Or any hotspot. I have 3G network, and set up on wi-fi preferred.

I have had this problem before, and a battery pull fixed the problem. However, it is not fixing it now. My girlfriend also has the Style 9670, and does not have this issue. Nothing has worked, updates, reboots, battery pull, resetting the router.
Tried a search but no luck. I love my iphone but have since switched back to Verizon due to coverage issues. I use the iphone with my Harley/Alpine radio. I am constantly having to enable airplane mode so it doesn't keep trying to connect to something. Is there a way to permanently turn off the radio? I use the wifi with no problems.
I recently bought a BlackBerry 8230 for Verizon. I charged the battery and turned on the phone and it would not pick up signal. At the top of the screen is says service required and has an X next to the signal indicator. I am running OS 4.6.I've tried pulling out the battery, going into manage connections and turning it on (the box never will check) and tried to register in the host routing tables all to no avail. I've also tried wiping the device and restoring the OS.

I have no signal, I can't turn on radio in the hidden settings (*#*#4636#*#*) and I can't change preffered network to 2g nor 3g. I have flashed different radios, flashed several factory images (4.4,5.1.1,5.0) but I have the same problem. One thing though, when I'm on 4.4 it says the radio is on in the hidden settings (still no signal) but I can t' turn it off. Is this a software or hardware problem?
