May 7, 2011I like to listen to an internet radio station from Ireland. My Blackberry says the format is not supported. Is there a way for me to listen to this sattion on my blackberry?

Jun 15, 2012I just bought this phone before couple of months ago and I love to listen radio over internet when I'm bycling.The network I have is same , my sim card is same but when I try to listen radio over internet , somehow it'll stop after 10 or 15 minutes,untill I'm clicking the play button again,why this happen I don't know, I tihink phone couldn't change the gsm protocol to wcdma protocol when it's choosed "gsm/wcdma preferred",is there any solution for this? only gsm is not enough due to data traffic rate and wcdma is also not available everywhere?

Location - Kazakhstan / Operator - Beeline
When I run the first time, in menu I can find My Music / Radio Mix / Gigs / Setting. After couple of time I enter/exit from the app, Gigs and Radio Mix disappear, and I have only My Music and Setting. Means I can't anymore listen to online music or download radio mix for offline listening. If I uninstall the app and install again, the first time I found the complete menu, but after they disappear again. Without Radio Mix menu the Nokia Music app is not useful anymore.

Aug 21, 2010Checked the forum and did not find any on this post! Ran my battery down to 4% and radio did not turn off. Has Rim done away with this feature? Not very often i have the battery down this low, and i know it is not good for the battery. I just wanted to see if it would turn off. I plugged my phone in at 4% so I did not run the battery any lower. I thought it was at 5% that it would turn off. Is the percentage lower? Or is RADIO OFF gone?

May 15, 2011When I connect (wi-fi) to both BBC radios 3&4 through blackberry browser, a pop up message "device media processor is busy ' appears ,also red message "error playing".this is persistent.Also when I ask for bb browser help web site,I am returned to help menu.I have just updated on my new phone to 5.0.Since I bought it 2 weeks ago radio was fine .Also ,contacts were wiped doing this update

Feb 23, 2010I am a Brit based in Germany, and I would like to listen to Radio 5, Talksport, etc, on my 2730 whilst at work. Doing so on my work PC is not allowed.
Although I can access the radio station websites, I obviously now need to load some sort of basic windows media player to get streaming and sound. I tried loading Windows Media 9, for example, but get a "file format" not supported/not recognised.

Dec 27, 2011I am a fan of Internet Radio and love the FM transmitter (Play via Radio) built into the N8. The best thing is that one can use both at the same time to transmit an internet radio stream to an FM radio!
One bad day I decided to follow the highlighted Nokia remark urging me to update the Internet Radio software..... I have Anna installed and Anna update 2/2 includes IR version 3.03. The download and installation via Nokia Store went smooth and version 3.04 was up and running soon.
Side-remark 1: how can one see on store.ovi.com which SW version is being offered? I can only see version information using the nokia store app on the phone. Displaying the version in the on-line store would be very helpful!
Side-remark 2: the IR version on offer through the nokia store app is 3.4.0. After installation it states version 3.04..... I found this very confusing. Is this a regular numbering convention for Nokia?
Side-remark 3: did anyone see any differences between 3.03 and 3.04? Both look very much alike! What is the reason for going from 3.03 to 3.04? I do think that 3.03 could be looking a lot better!
With version 3.04 up and running, I decided to start the FM transmitter. The very moment you press the on button the radio stream stops. In the widget for internet radio, the play symbol is now visible. Pressing it to turn the stream back on, the music plays for a fraction of a second before the stream is again stopped. No matter what I tried, I cannot use the FM transmitter together with the Internet Radio 3.04 app.
I searched the internet for the 3.03 version and re-installed it after removing 3.04. Fortunately I can now again run the Internet Radio and the FM transmitter at the same time Is there a solution for this? Why Nokia doesn't test such basic things before releasing the update?

Mar 23, 2010so here's the scenerio, in a public place (school, anywhere, with people), you have your headphone on while listening to music on your bold 9700's music player (loudly, may i add).Receives a phone call, (your phone now has the screen with incoming call showing, you can either answer, or ignore). Obviously not much option here you answer the call, unplugs the headphone, the music player goes on pause(or you can unplug first, the music pause first, then answer), after the conversation, before you have time to plug your headphone back, your music unpauses itself and is playing LOUDLY through the phone speakers, which is kind of embarassing, even for couple seconds.I tested a couple times by calling myself, and i find no options to get around this.anyone else got this prob? does anyone know how to get around this? should I buy a new media player app?
