BB Bold :: New OS Update Screwed Up Podcast Listening?
Feb 9, 2012I updated the OS the other day and now I can not holster the phone or get out of the now playing screen without the music turning off.

Galaxy S6 :: Listening To Podcast OK Google Controlling Volume?
Oct 28, 2015I was listening to the giantbombcast using the pocketcasts app, and I about 15 minutes in the volume automatically goes down. I turn it back up, and it goes down again, automatically... right away. As soon as I push the volume bar to the right, it swings back to the left. Then, "Ok Google" pops up. It says "say Ok Google" or tap mic". The volume then goes up, then down, then up, then down uncontrollably. Then it stops, and I'm just looking at the Ok Google screen. When I press back to go to the pocketcasts, all of this happens again after 30 seconds. I don't know what is going on here.

May 18, 2010I'm thinking about getting an iPhone or iPod touch and want to listen to podcasts. With my current MP3 player/software combination I have a problem dealing with podcasts. So I'm wondering if iTunes+iPod/iPhone can do what I want. This is what I'm looking for:
I want to be able to have a playlist containing all podcasts that I haven't listened to. When a new podcast comes out I want to be able to sync with iTunes and have the new podcast get appended to the playlist. Preferably I should not have to choose which podcasts to append. All new podcasts should just be automatically appended. I don't want to have to make a new playlist everytime I download a new podcast and I don't want to lose my place in the playlist. I just want to sync the podcast and have it show up in my podcast playlist. Once I've listened to a podcast I want it to be deleted and taken off of the playlist. Thus the playlist should just act like a queue where podcasts that have been listened to get deleted and new podcasts get appended. I know that iTunes/iPod has some functionality in dealing with podcasts, but can it do all of this? If not, do you know of any device/software combination that can perhaps non-iPod or software for the iPod touch, something like that? If there's an application which can do this without syncing to iTunes, that would be work too.
BB Curve :: 8530 - Podcast App Failed To Communicate With Server After OS Update
Jan 20, 2011I've been using this app for months! That is until two days ago when I updated the OS on my 8530. From then on the podcast app 1.0.0.48 has failed to "communicate with the server" when I try the Explore Podcasts feature, and also no longer notifies me (or downloads) new episodes. I rolled back to the previous version of the OS and the problem still exists.

May 15, 2010I recently had to give my comp in to the comp experts cause it got a virus.Then after he sweeped my whole comp clean and deleted everything except itunes and the stuff inside it (i asked him not to delete it), i synced my iphone and it didnt sync the apps i had updated. Soon like 2 days later EVERY SINGLE APP IN MY IPHONE DIDNT WORK!So i restored the iphone, then i synced it. APPS DIDNT SYNC AND NOW MY IPHONES CLEAR OF APPS!aNYONE Help plz? can iphones be affected by the virus that was previously in my comp? BTW my iphone is a 3gs 8 gigabytes version 3.1.3

Jul 6, 2010I wanted to try BuzzBerry Free so I download it from the app-store, didn't like it so I deleted it and now my LED doesn't flash when I have a missed call anymore.All the other LED notifications work except when I have a missed call, it just stays blank.I tried deleting, restarting, reinstalling, restarting and it the LED will only work on missed calls if BuzzBerry is installed and controlling it.So I even tried deleting, BuzzBerry Free again, and installed the BuzzBerry 3 7 Day trial, didn't like that either, uninstalled it, restartd, then battery pull for 3 mins and my Missed Called LED is still not working.
Did they rig this program so that you have to buy it or they leave your phone screwed?I hope someone can help me with this because I only got my Storm 2 less than month ago and I think they made this horrible app to permanently screw your phone up if you chose not to buy.I'm using OS version 5.0.0.517 on Bell mobility Should I try upgrading or changing the OS?Is this a problem I can call BlackBerry about ? If I can't fix this I want a phone replacement and the makers of this program hanged.

Mar 23, 2010so here's the scenerio, in a public place (school, anywhere, with people), you have your headphone on while listening to music on your bold 9700's music player (loudly, may i add).Receives a phone call, (your phone now has the screen with incoming call showing, you can either answer, or ignore). Obviously not much option here you answer the call, unplugs the headphone, the music player goes on pause(or you can unplug first, the music pause first, then answer), after the conversation, before you have time to plug your headphone back, your music unpauses itself and is playing LOUDLY through the phone speakers, which is kind of embarassing, even for couple seconds.I tested a couple times by calling myself, and i find no options to get around this.anyone else got this prob? does anyone know how to get around this? should I buy a new media player app?

Jun 12, 2010I used to have a Bold 9700. When I listened to music with headphones, incoming message alerts would sound over the music through the headphones. With the 9650, the song pauses, and then the message alert sound comes out of the speaker instead of the headphones, then the music resumes. Is there a setting I am missing here?

Aug 25, 2010Sometimes I've been getting random messages when I try to download certain podcasts through the itunes app on my iphone that say, "Podcast can not be played on this iPhone" And it will not download or stream the podcast.
My phone isn't jail broken and all factory settings, so what is going on here?Is it just a random error in the OS or itunes store? Or did the podcaster actually upload the podcast in the wrong format?I can't imagine Apple even making it possible to upload in the wrong format though, given how controlling they are about the itunes store.Anyone know what is going on?

Mar 23, 2012I've amassed quite a few podcast feeds on my iPhone 4 (iOS 5.0.1) and wanted to remove them to free up memory on the phone. (I don't syncy through iTunes on my mac, I download them direct to the phone.) I usually just swipe and delete and removed them all last night in this way. But now all podcasts and feeds appear ghosted and can't be played or swiped. The funny thing is, the memory seems to have been freed up, so although they appear ghosted on the phone, are not actually there. I just want to remove the whole list and start again. I've tried the Settings > Usage > Music > Edit route and podcasts ahev doisappeared too.

It also S60 and diffreneces between E63 and E72 are only in feature packs!

Apr 7, 2012I often download podcasts via iTunes, and some of them are showing the track IDs, as chapters. So the chapters have IDs (Artist-Title), for example in an 1 hour set, there is about 12-15 tracks with track names, but now I can't see the track names, only chapter 1, chapter 2 etc. how can i set back to "normal", to see the IDs again ?

May 14, 2012So i noticed this morning when trying to download the latest podcast i wanted that it was just broken on my iPhone 4S. I tried everything, quitting the app, restarting the device, updating to the latest firmware that was waiting to be done. None of these things made any difference. I tried with a friends iPhone and he could see podcasts fine, ruling out the servers being down or whatever. I got home and synced my Phone to my mac and got the latest podcasts via iTunes on my Mac. Still this hasn't helped anything either I shot this shaky video to show what happens [URL]I'm a bit at a loss beyond having to fully nuke my phone which is more than a bit inconvenient.
