Aug 9, 2010I have been trying to access a website that I normally visit daily and today it was telling me that about memory being full. Its only when i try to access my inbox, yet the the rest of the pages will load (including facebook).I deleted a bunch of pics off my phone and thought if i enabled memory cleaning, it would clear my cache, cookies, etc.
the prompt said it would save changes when the device was turned off and rebooted. I did a battery pull and now what is happening is my issue.
after i pulled the battery, I get a red blink of hte led, then a black screen with a clock in the middle (obviously the loading symbol) and then the screen showing "blackberry" with a loading bar.Once the loading bar is done loading...nothing! It goes back to turning off the device and reloading from the start. It has been doing this for 2 hours and the device will not go to the home screen, it just keeps rebooting itself. I have done 2 or 3 battery pulls now and it keeps doing it. Would it have anything to do with the "memory clean" enablement? or is the peice of cr@p toast now? And have i lost all my contacts??

Apr 19, 2010My 8520 was working fine last night but the battery was down to 10% charge.
Charged the battery up and phone worked fine and I turned it off before going to bed.
The phone turned on fine this morning and was showing a full charge. I did turn it off when I got to work and when I went to turn it back on when I went to lunch I got nothing. The LED glows briefly and faintly when I try to power the phone on.
I tried hooking to my car charger but with the same results.

Aug 21, 2010Checked the forum and did not find any on this post! Ran my battery down to 4% and radio did not turn off. Has Rim done away with this feature? Not very often i have the battery down this low, and i know it is not good for the battery. I just wanted to see if it would turn off. I plugged my phone in at 4% so I did not run the battery any lower. I thought it was at 5% that it would turn off. Is the percentage lower? Or is RADIO OFF gone?

Now when I access my BB from the computer, I open the IM folder. This folder contains no saved conversations. All I see are *.BAK files and another file that probably contains a backup of my BBM contacts. When I am in an active BBM chat i see the View history link but it ONLY displays the last message not the entire previous conversation. Point is if I am saving my message history on the DEVICE then where exactly is it?

Sep 2, 2012Yesterday my BB8520 froze and I pulled out battery and pull in again after i pull in the phone doesn't wont to start it just blink my led red 1 long and after series of 4 short blinks.I read a lot of forums and I tried everything like loader and etc. but the main problem is that my pc doesn't recognize my bb. I already try with different cables and other pc but steel same story. I put on wall charger to be charged all night but nothing change as well I pull out my battery more than 4 hours nothing change again it's any possibility this phone to be putted in some kind of flash mode which will help to be recognized by my pc. And steel I don't know does it charge my phone when is in this mode because I think that I have only 3 stripes when I pull out my battery.

Everytime I take out the battery and put it back the red light on the right hand corner comes on for a couple of seconds then turns off again. Oct 28, 2011I have a blackberry curve 8520, i bought it last month sometime.I woke up yesterday morning and the balckberry was off, and would not switch on after i pushed down the ON button. So I charged it for a while, and still, it wouldnt switch on. Then, i took it off charge, took out the battery put the battery back in and it rebooted. The loading bar went right to the end, and the logo of my service provider appeared. And that's when it stopped loading. All that will show is the logo, it wont turn off, unless i take the battery out again.I had downloaded an app the night before it stopped working off appworld, could that have affected it?

Jul 17, 2010I recenty cleared my phonne with the alt+lglg and cleared some other history stuff, and i seen a thing for memory cleaner and i enabled it and i figured that might save me some time, it prompted me before i closed it that memory cleaner would run when the phone had been rebooted and something else. but now my phone has been rebooted and it wont turn on it just keeps restarting over and over and over again. i left it over nihgt hoping it would be working in the morning and it still rebooted all night.
