Motorola Atrix 2 :: How To Re-connect Mobile Network State

My phone currently can make calls and send text messages but it will not send/rx data type calls. The H+ icon is displayed and I'm in a good signal area. Wi-Fi works fine. In the Phone status menu, I see a potential problem in that the Mobile Network state is set to "disconnected". Mobile Net type = HSPA (which stands for what?), Service state = "in service", and I'm on an AT&T network.how to get my mobile network state back on?
My brother gave me an unlocked Motorola DEXT MB220 as gift (used before for T-Mobil). I live in Canada and my carrier is Rogers. The phone works great but it doesn't make connection with the network for internet (Wi-Fi works fine). On "My Phone" Menu I checked the "Mobile Network State" and shows "Disconnected".
after purchasing a charm with motoblur last week, i was able to set up my motoblur account through wi-fi, send and receive messages as tests to make sure the phone was working through providers at&t and t-mobile (because i had unlocked and inserted an existing british simcard on the network "3"). i opted to not enter the browser/marketplace due to the price of roaming abroad.after travelling back to the uk today, i was able to make a couple of calls and around twenty sms's with no problems whatsoever, but as i was not roaming abroad any more, i tried the browser, marketplace, maps and Internet. none of these worked due to the network state being disconnected, despite being connected to the provider "3" (found going through settings>status>network connection state: disconnected). thus when returning home, i hunted around the internet on the computer to find a way for browsing to return, just in case i'd by accident declined something earlier in the week. i came upon the "master reset / factory data reset" page on the website: https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/49373/~/charm---master-reset-%2f-factory-data-reset
after following these instructions, the phone reset. ok. then, when going back through the welcome/getting started intro to the phone, there was still a failure of network connection, and any wi-fi connections with the correct password entered always ended in "wrong password entered," or it ignored the previous password and a vicious circle of correct password after correct password began.
Okay, so I have a blackberry bold 9700 smartphone (3G, Wifi) v5.0.0.422 (platform 5.1.0.121), i know i havent updated in a while.
It seems to be picking up Rogers network, when I am on the Telus network. It will not find the Telus network at all. I've tried pulling out my simcard, and resetting it. I've tried to manually select Telus, but it will not come up, it says: Mobile Network: *none* or Rogers.
my phone was working fine until it suddely wouldn't pick up a signal? i've tryed changing sim cards and i've checked with everyone on the same network if there's is working fine and it is what can i do? i've also updated my phone and restarted it multipel times.
I cannot connect to my mobile network. I recently got a bb 8800 which has been unlocked to all networks (checked this all categories disabled when I type MEPD).
I have a sim card with three (network) but it won't connect to the mobile network just displays SOS in the top right corner.
I have tried restarting/taking out battery/changing sim/leaving for hours but nothing. In manage connections it is set to orange when I try to scan for available networks it only displays orange, vodafone, O2 and t-mobile and all of these won't connect.
what to do I lost my old bb (and didn't have insurance silly me) so got a replacement sim from my network and managed to get this 8800 for a good price but that's no good if it's not connecting.

My phone won't connect to the mobile network. Everytime I try to connect it the device tell me that it not part of my service plan. I have contacted my mobile provider and they did not find anything wrong and I have put my SIM-card in other phones and the network works on them so their is something wrong with my phone.
I have a problem where I cannot connect to my mobile network - Orange with it saying "Initialisation Failed". I try to manually connect to the network but it can't find any "Scan for networks failed". It also has my mobile network down as Vodafone UK for some reason. My phone wont connect to my network service provider. its doing it randomly and gives no service for periods of time... i have tried pulling the battery for a hard reset and have turned the connections off and on but it makes no difference... is it just the model? i have had major problems with my last curve 9330 as well with it freezing and locking me out and constantly crashing and reseting and giving me a blank screen.
I have a blackberry torch 9800 which was working fine until i went to england. The connection was fine. Then when i came back home to ireland my phone wouldn't connect to the mobile network and still won't! I can't send texts but i can ring people.
why the mobile network setting would change on its own. I have specifically changed from "any cdma" to "automatic". I have not determined when the phone switched back to "any cdma". I don't believe I powered the phone down. The only reason I checked was when I noticed the 3G data was running slow. I notice a pretty drastic speed increase when using the automatic setting.Is there something that triggers the phone to revert back to "any cdma"?
My 3G XOOM (MZ601) is having a small issue since the 3.2 upgrade that if i have the XOOM at home connected to my WiFi, then take it out with me, it refuses to connect/switch to my Mobile network without a restart. Once I have done this it works fine, but it's a bit of a pain having to turn it off and on again every time I leave the house.
I had an app which disables an iPhone to connect to the internet via mobile network. In the meantime I have deleted that app but it still affects my phone. For example iPhone shows that 3G sign on the top (next to the time) but it is unable to open any website. Is there anything I can do about it?
Both Verizon and Virgin Mobile (Sprint) has CDMA and CDMA2000 network.If I bought Droid X, can I unlock it, and use it on Virgin Mobile? Because it is much cheaper...
I've bought my 'Defy, motoblur - MB525' on 'T-mobile - UK. It doesn't seems to be connecting to 3G. I've gone thru different checks on the phone with t-mobile support, even sent my phone for 3 weeks but still the same problem. They'v ask me to sent it back. Mobile network is set on auto, but i m unable to view any videos or download a simple pdf, it takes very long to connect to some sites. There is always a 'G' on top of the screen.
I have a week that I bought an Atrix 2. My mobile networks tab in settings is locked that means that I cannot change to 2G only or 3G only. It is Automatic and grayed out! I would like to know if I can do anything to unlock that by any mean, custom ROM or whatever! Here the 3G connection is poor and unstable so my phone changes the type of connections every time by interrupting the call and also consuming the battery!
I've got the atrix on t-mobile contract but cannot figure out how to set a custom ringtone for the SMS? I've got the custom one for the phone call. But the text message one has me baffled? I select text message >menu setting > messaging settings > select ringtone. But it doesn't offer the option to select a custom one.I've tried putting an mp3/m4a track in the notification folder by connecting the phone to a usb cable and pc, but the tracks dont show up in the select ringtone setting?
Ive got a Motorola Atrix on T-Mobile UK. When using webtop and the firefox browser I sometimes get directed to the mobile site rather than the full web site of certain pages like Facebook and Twitter. I'm guessing this is not supposed to happen. Is there a way to change the User Agent so it loads up full webpages?
i have an unlocked Atrix HD from Bell Mobilty and i'm using it on t-mobile. first few days were great! i have hspa+ with speeds at par with my old sensation. however, ive been stuck on edge since this morning. i've been playing with my phone checking if tmobile has lit up their refarmed hspa pcs network in my area using the service menu. since then i couldn't bring the AWS HSPA+ back.
I am getting red circle for network strength (where is display H+, E etc) more frequently after .83 update. Many times phone call just cuts and I can see red circle. Also when browing data red circle is there.
I have unlocked AT&T Atrix 4G from the states, voice communication and sms are working fine over Vodafone GSM in Egypt, WIFI is ok.
Problem is in accessing the internet, tried with Vodafone different APN configurations but was unsuccessful and still cannot access my email's and browser.
I am on my second Atrix in two days. The phone takes 10-15 minutes to connect to the ATT edge network. Motorola and ATT tech support have no answers. My razr gave me 5 bars and the ATT tower is in line of sight. I am ready to get a Samsung..
I have an AT&T GoPhone account. When the phone boots up with an AT&T SIM card installed, it goes to the "SIM Network Unlock Pin" request screen. I have worked with both Motorola and AT&T tech support personnel for many, many hours to get my Atrix to accept the unlock code I have been given from AT&T (22314992). The Atrix response is always "Network unlock pin unsuccessful". The phone otherwise works beautifully after a fastboot coldboot (wi-fi, program installs & usage, etc). But one simple problem...I can not make phone calls.
recently purchased a Motorola Atrix 2 from the Mot Corporate store here in the US. It works well with AT&T SIM but I wanted to unlock it for using an international SIM when traveling outside. I got the unlock code from AT&T but the phone didn't accept the code. I tried the code twice and both times, I got this message "Network Unlock Request Unsuccessful". I have confirmed the IMEI by using *#06# and matching it with the number on the back sticker. I checked with AT&T again and they said that Mot said that the original code provided is the right one for my phone.
So, I am stuck now. I don't know what I can do about this phone. I would really love to be able to use it outside the US and that was one of the reasons I paid an unsubsized price for it.Anyone else facing similar problems with the Atrix 2? Is there a software update that can fix this issue? I don't want to try the same code more times because I am afraid that it will hard lock.
I miss being able to easily send and receive images via text message.
This was a major way that I communicated with my farflung family. With the Atrix, I can't seem to get this to work without going to settings and enabling the data network for everything that might want to use it ( and that seems to be a considerable number of things despite my efforts to choose wireless only options.) I realize I can turn it on briefly to send (though that's a multi-step process) but there's no way to anticipate when an MMS message is coming in.
