My phone wont connect to my network service provider. its doing it randomly and gives no service for periods of time... i have tried pulling the battery for a hard reset and have turned the connections off and on but it makes no difference... is it just the model? i have had major problems with my last curve 9330 as well with it freezing and locking me out and constantly crashing and reseting and giving me a blank screen.
my phone was working fine until it suddely wouldn't pick up a signal? i've tryed changing sim cards and i've checked with everyone on the same network if there's is working fine and it is what can i do? i've also updated my phone and restarted it multipel times.
I have a problem where I cannot connect to my mobile network - Orange with it saying "Initialisation Failed". I try to manually connect to the network but it can't find any "Scan for networks failed". It also has my mobile network down as Vodafone UK for some reason. I've tried rebooting the phone but to no effect.
it says scan for network, then after it says no service!i have mobile network&data services on etc. When i try host routing table it says 'registartion message queued it will be sent once data coverage is avaliable' but my mobile network don't connect! when i do diagnostic test, it sayssignal level:unknwonradio access:unknownnetwork:unknownip address: unknownicmp ping echo: abortblackberry registration:abortconnected to blackberry:abortblackberry pin-pin: abort
Okay, so I have a blackberry bold 9700 smartphone (3G, Wifi) v5.0.0.422 (platform 5.1.0.121), i know i havent updated in a while.
It seems to be picking up Rogers network, when I am on the Telus network. It will not find the Telus network at all. I've tried pulling out my simcard, and resetting it. I've tried to manually select Telus, but it will not come up, it says: Mobile Network: *none* or Rogers.
I cannot connect to my mobile network. I recently got a bb 8800 which has been unlocked to all networks (checked this all categories disabled when I type MEPD).
I have a sim card with three (network) but it won't connect to the mobile network just displays SOS in the top right corner.
I have tried restarting/taking out battery/changing sim/leaving for hours but nothing. In manage connections it is set to orange when I try to scan for available networks it only displays orange, vodafone, O2 and t-mobile and all of these won't connect.
what to do I lost my old bb (and didn't have insurance silly me) so got a replacement sim from my network and managed to get this 8800 for a good price but that's no good if it's not connecting.
my curve 9300 cannot connect to the mobile network since yesterday night...av tried the battery pull and currently running the diagnostic which is taking forever..
My phone won't connect to the mobile network. Everytime I try to connect it the device tell me that it not part of my service plan. I have contacted my mobile provider and they did not find anything wrong and I have put my SIM-card in other phones and the network works on them so their is something wrong with my phone.
I have a blackberry torch 9800 which was working fine until i went to england. The connection was fine. Then when i came back home to ireland my phone wouldn't connect to the mobile network and still won't! I can't send texts but i can ring people.
My phone currently can make calls and send text messages but it will not send/rx data type calls. The H+ icon is displayed and I'm in a good signal area. Wi-Fi works fine. In the Phone status menu, I see a potential problem in that the Mobile Network state is set to "disconnected". Mobile Net type = HSPA (which stands for what?), Service state = "in service", and I'm on an AT&T network.how to get my mobile network state back on?
I updated my blackberry software overnight on my device (curve 9330) and when I woke up in the morning there was a constant white screen with a little diagram and 561 error message underneath. I followed the instructions to update the device software on my desktop and had the latest version (6.1.0.35).The device does not connect to the PC at all and a battery reset on the device did not help.It is frozen with the white 561 error message screen.
IM in range of service and all such just started yester day thought it was because of bad signal but have gone to places I know have good signal and still nothing it will also randomly search for service when it does find some it gets bars plus x which doesn't let me make call or anything I have tried resting removed the battery and all the other tricks i know of
My phone stopped working randomly a couple of days ago. I cant send or receive texts or calls. In the corner where the signal is, changed from edge/GPRS to GMS now it's just constantly on SOS. I've tried going into mobile network options and switching network and then switching back and it's saying that my mobile network is out of range? I've also tried doing a battery pull and doing a security wipe which just deleted all my contacts I've been in contact with my mobile network and they told me try the SIM in another phone, and that worked so it's definitely a problem with the phone rather than the network.
I had an app which disables an iPhone to connect to the internet via mobile network. In the meantime I have deleted that app but it still affects my phone. For example iPhone shows that 3G sign on the top (next to the time) but it is unable to open any website. Is there anything I can do about it?
I have the 8330 on the Sprint network. This would not be a problem but it does not automatically turn it back on when I charge the battery. Is there any way to set it so it automatically turns it back on when the battery charges?
I brought my BlackBerry a few weeks back, and brought the Data Plan (£5 for BBM, Internet etc for 1 month)... IT was working PERFECTLY until yesterday Morning... I woke up, checked my BBM as usual, Ended all the chats that were Broadcast Messages blah blah blah, and went to speak to one of my Contacts on BBM... THe message wouldnt send... I thought it's probably just slow or something.... Yet im still having the same problems now... Nearly 2 days it hasnt worked now, and it's getting very annoying!
Features that are being affected are;
- BBM - Facebook App - App World - Browser
This is one message I usally get while trying to use the Browser: "Unable to connect to the Internet, please try again later. If the problem persists please contact your service provider."
Another thing that's really annoyed me is the fact that most people with a Similar problem to my has "gprs" in Lower Case letters, yet i have "GPRS" in Capitals, yet still not working.. I admit, on the rare occasion i can send a message but it takes ages, usually about 30 minutes. No matter where I go, whether it's my house, the woods, the town, anywhere, im getting the same problem, whereas before, I could go anywhere, including those 3 place and it would be FINE!!
I've done everything I could, Battery Removal, Wipe, SImple turned the Mobile Network off, then back on... NOTHING is helping!!
Until yesterday morning i had NO problems what so ever, then suddenly I get this!!!
I got my Phone from T-Mobile, and im with Vodafone
I've just realized that the feature to switch / search for other wireless networks (for when I travel) is missing from my BB 8520. I am unable to scan for other Available Networks. Is there a way that I can restore that missing feature, and any other possible missing features?
So I use a Blackberry Curve 8530 and I have been having serious problems for the last two weeks. Every time I try to turn on my "Mobile Network" in Manage Connections, the device crashes then tries to reboot. It will continue trying to reboot until the progress bar in the Blackberry loading screen is full, then crashes again. It will do this until the battery is entirely drained.Because a drained battery causes the Mobile Network to automatically shut off, I can then plug the phone back into charge and it will turn on and be fine - until I try to turn on the Mobile Network, upon which the process repeats itself. Is there a simple way for me to tell if I am using the wifi network at home? Is the wifi icon on top right corner of browser the indication. I am trying to make my wife feel comfortable that is OK to surf as she wishes while at home.
Have a BB curve 9300 3g, software ver 6. on a payg contract with Tesco. It worked fine until this morning when I noticed it was rebooting (the same as a battery pull) constantly. It would boot, update security and reboot again. Finally managed to switch off wifi and mobile network to see if this made a difference and the rebooting stopped. I've since switched on wifi, and this is fine.
But as soon as the mobile network is turned on it will try to obtain a signal and within 2 or 3 seconds will start rebooting again. I've tried it with different battery, different sim, with and without microsd card, deleting all apps, upgrading software to latest version etc etc but nothing works. Right now I have a mobile phone which is of no use as it cannot receive a mobile signal.
There is a 1xT(bar)x on the top right hand corner of my phone. My phone is able to receive and send calls/texts but my internet/email is not working at all. When I go to manage connections, mobile network is checked off, but Mobile Network Options shows that even though data services are on, my mobile network is listed as 'none." I tried a reset by taking the battery out but that didn't work. I've only had this phone for a few weeks and it worked fine up until yesterday.
Yeah well I just got home. The mobile network has been going off on me for quite a while now. Gets annoying. I have to turn the connection on manually every 10 minutes! Any ideas on how to fix this or why it is happening? I had 2 bars of bettery left when this started.
Can unlocked t-mobile 8320 phones on the at&t network access BIS?I can not get mine to work and I feel like I have tried everything in the book. We just bought it so I am trying to see if the phone came to use broken.
