IPhone :: New Emails Are No Longer Being Pushed To 4S And IPad?
Jun 25, 2012
My new emails are no longer being pushed to My iPhone and iPad. It worked until a few days ago and no settings have been changed on either device. New emails are still being delivered to my MacBook. Any reason for this or is there something I can do to fix it?
Emails are no longer being pushed to my 8330 unless I power it off first. When I power it back up, I receive my emails as before. Not sure that anything has changed from previous versions other than downloading latest Desktop manager software.
I bit the bullet and got an S5 today! I set up my Exchange email account on it and emails are NOT pushing to my device. I have SYNC on and set to PUSH. I know the issue is not with my exchange service as the emails are pushed immediately to my other devices (an iPad and an iPhone) but not to my S5. I only see the email if I manually sync. How can I rectify this?
When I set up email on the device, I began receiving new email, but not old unopened stuff that was sitting in my inbox. I didn't worry about it because I really didn't want to have to sift through mail that I would have opened already if it were important. Then I went on the BB website and validated my accounts (That step isn't in the set-up instructions, and I didn't initially realize that it was necessary.), and now that old email is being pushed. Some of it has already been opened, so I'm not sure why it's being sent again, but my chief concern is the sheer volume of it. I have over 1500 unopened messages going back a few years, and I certainly don't want all of them dropping onto my BB. So far, I've had two dumps of about 75 messages each-- one yesterday after I visited the BB website, and another when I turned on my device this morning. Is there a way to limit the number that will be pushed, or set a time limit so that I don't get messages that have been sitting on the server for years? The other problem is, they aren't sorting by date of original delivery, so my BB inbox is currently a mess. When I set up my previous BB, I remember getting old, unopened mail, but I thought that it was sorted by date on the device, no?
I have had my phone for a day now and I am falling in deep like with it. But the email doesn't seem to push like a text message. All I could find as far as options was a sync every 15 minutes. But even that's to long. I want my emails instantly. I am using yahoo email.
On Friday the 23rd, Emails stopped getting pushed down to my device. In the Gmail account access logs, you can clearly see "68.171.236.171" checking in every so-often, and that IP resolves to bda-68-171-236-171.bise.eu.blackberry.com, so the Gmail-BIS link is (homefully) working. After two phone calls to O2, they have told me that there are "500 emails in the queue" to go down to my device. Well, where the hell have these come from, since I have around 180 emails (GitHub and Heroku post-push and post-deploy hooks) waiting in the inbox, and so I am left wondering where the 320-ish emails have arrived from in the BIS queue.Anyway, the person at O2 told me to delete all of the emails off of the device as it may be too big for emails to be pushed down. She also said that if it didn't work I would have to take it back into the shop I got it for repair. Big unhappy face since the shop we got it from is quite a long drive away and I will be without my phone on holiday next week.

I have a 3GS, it was jailbroken for me, but not only that, it was running on Ipad software. I was told the reason was at the time there weren't any hacks for the 3GS software due to the 4 being out and the ipad as well. phone ran well no issues. Finally have a computer, a iMac to be exact. I've been syncing without problems. Today, I updated my iPhone. I was told not to. but forgot since I had the phone "worked on" last year, and really wasnt thinking. The phone was restored to factory settings, I can get as far as the wi-fi set up. But I can not activate the cellular part of the phone. On iTunes, its saying there isn't a sim card installed. I took it out and reinstalled. Still nothing.

i just got my Blackberry yesterday and set it up -the emails were being forwarded from my computer with no problems. This morning they have stopped and I am not receiving any...I did get an email straight to my phone from Blackberry but nothing from my computer.
On my home screen I have a general messages icon I use only for SMS and a gmail message icon that was created when I added my gmail account to my blackberry. I have inbox checked off for the general messages inbox because I don't want duplication of messages with my gmail message folder. Yesterday my new email suddenly stopped appearing in the gmail folder without any known system changes, app additions etc. If I check inbox for general messages they will show up there, but that is undesirable. If I search unopened email in the gmail folder I can find them, but that is undesirable. How do I get the items to show up in the gmail folder the way they have for months without resorting to one of the two workarounds above? Additionally I deleted the gmail account and re-added, but continue to have the same symptoms. I've also performed a hard reset before and after re-adding the account.
i received a message from blackberry stating that i needed to validate my password for my email in the balckberry internet service. it has given me instructions on how to do that, however, it's not taking my user name nor my password. so, I tlogged on to blackberry internet services but no where can i find the "email accounts" page! I have got to have my emails thru the weekend..
I have a BB Tour with Bell Canada, and recently, our company recently updated our BES server.Ever since the switch, I no longer can sync my BIS server emails. So on my BB, I have my company's BES email(lotus notes), and that syncs up fine...if I delete an email from my BB, it'll delete on my desktop, and vice versa. But for my BIS emails(hotmail), when I delete from my BB, it will not delete the email from my hotmail account...or when I delete from my hotmail account, it'll not delete on my BB.
After setting up my phone I was recieving e-mails fine however I am no longer recieving any e-mails. It appears that this could be a common problem, being as it is in the troubleshooting in the manual however... I cannot seem to solve it.
I have tried sending service books. Nothing appears to happen as a result of this. I have tried deleting the account from the phone and then adding it again but that doesnt appear to have worked. I didn't recieve an activation message when i re-added it and I don't know if that is important!
I think it may have happened around about when I was solving another problem and I installed the desktop software and backed up and restored all data. I am wondering if some settings got changed somehow as it is since then that I have not recieved any messages.
I have just upgraded to the new email client (3.09.0) and my pop email accounts no longer sync automatically in the background. They only sync if I manually open up each email account and ask to do a manual sync?

I have 3 email accounts on the device but for the past week no new emails are being picked up. When going to Setup and Emails, the device displays "Connecting to email settings" and then after a few minutes says "Your device had a problem connecting too the server".
I'm no longer receiving hotmail emails to my Blackberry. I am able to send hotmail emails from my phone but not receive. My hotmail account is working well via my pc. I'm also receiving emails to my other non-hotmail account on my blackberry.I have been on the phone with my carrier O2 about this over 10 times and they have confirmed its either a Blackberry or Hotmail problem, not an O2 issue.I have tried nearly everything; removed and readded my hotmail account on both the Blackberry Internet Service website (via device browser) and Email Settings on Device, turning phone on/off, host routing table and registering etc..nothing seems to be working.Hotmail have suggested I re-configure the pop3 settings on my phone, but I don't understand how this can be done. I am on a Blackberry Curve 8520 and only just recently bought the phone.
I have been reading reviews that the iPad camera connection kit no longer works with the latest iPads, does anyone know if this is still the case or has the issue been addressed/fixed?
I noticed today for whatever reason, my emails are not automatically being pushed to my phone, unless I stay on the mail app. Iphone 4 with iOs 5.1 Exchange Email, Hotmail, and iCloud all exhibit the same behavoir. If mail is mimized it won't send, but if I go in and kill the mail app, then it pops up with notifications and emails just fine.
