Emails are no longer being pushed to my 8330 unless I power it off first. When I power it back up, I receive my emails as before. Not sure that anything has changed from previous versions other than downloading latest Desktop manager software.
View 4 RepliesMy new emails are no longer being pushed to My iPhone and iPad. It worked until a few days ago and no settings have been changed on either device. New emails are still being delivered to my MacBook. Any reason for this or is there something I can do to fix it?

For some reason I am only receiving a portion of my emails on my 8330 blackberry curve. I have had my carrier's support desk (Verizon) walk me through procedures to make sure I am capable of receiving these messages (which I am receiving on my computer, but not all show up on the blackberry).........and now I am hearing from Verizon that I need to contact Blackberry support. Is there a # to call? I don't know where to start. I can see on the Blackberry email setup icon that I have my verizon email address listed there with the correct password (and again, I am receiving some messages, just not all). Am I missing something here?
p.s. Also, I can't tell a difference between the emails that show up and those that do not...it's not like it's all the 'gmail and yahoo' messages that I don't receive, for instance...seems to be random.
I am only getting some of my emails, like I don't get my facebook emails or any email pic's I send from my phone to my email! I have deleted my account and set it up again but now im not receiving anything now! What can I do?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI am no longer getting sound from the phone - the ringer does not work and I can't play music.I have tried taking out the battery and it still does not work.The last sound I heard was the alert for a text message and it does not do that anymore. I can hear fine when talking on the phone.I would appreciate help with this as I have not found an solution that works yet.

Our small office has moved from outlook to gmail.He uses the gmail icon on his blackberry to check his emails. question is that he wants to delete emails in gmails on his blackberry but they should only be deleted on his handheld and not in the actual account.He wants me to delete around 100+ emails. Is there a faster way opposed to deleting one email at a time.I would appreciate if you guys can guide me with any solution.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI bit the bullet and got an S5 today! I set up my Exchange email account on it and emails are NOT pushing to my device. I have SYNC on and set to PUSH. I know the issue is not with my exchange service as the emails are pushed immediately to my other devices (an iPad and an iPhone) but not to my S5. I only see the email if I manually sync. How can I rectify this?

They have to scroll down to see the newest emails. I have the 8310 and have not been able to locate any options to prevent or correct this. Has anyone run across this before and if so, how can this be corrected?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a curve 8330 through verizon. for the last two days i have been receiving all of my emails constantly every hour. i have over 400 "new" emails in my inbox, most of which i have already received and have been receiving for the past two days. they are all coming in at the same time and have flooded my inbox and are slowing down my phone. i went to verizon yesterday and they re-freshed my connection with gmail but it didn't do anything to help.
View 6 Replies View RelatedMy work Blackberry 8330, using Lotus Notes for email, will take an email I respond to, and within a minute or so of responding to that original email, the original email reverts to "unread" status. This happens every time. It is not "New, Unread", only "Unread". Emails replied to on my PC do not have the same effect on my Blackberry. Is this a setting issue or just one of those things we have to live with?
View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen I set up email on the device, I began receiving new email, but not old unopened stuff that was sitting in my inbox. I didn't worry about it because I really didn't want to have to sift through mail that I would have opened already if it were important. Then I went on the BB website and validated my accounts (That step isn't in the set-up instructions, and I didn't initially realize that it was necessary.), and now that old email is being pushed. Some of it has already been opened, so I'm not sure why it's being sent again, but my chief concern is the sheer volume of it. I have over 1500 unopened messages going back a few years, and I certainly don't want all of them dropping onto my BB. So far, I've had two dumps of about 75 messages each-- one yesterday after I visited the BB website, and another when I turned on my device this morning. Is there a way to limit the number that will be pushed, or set a time limit so that I don't get messages that have been sitting on the server for years? The other problem is, they aren't sorting by date of original delivery, so my BB inbox is currently a mess. When I set up my previous BB, I remember getting old, unopened mail, but I thought that it was sorted by date on the device, no?

View 3 Replies View RelatedOn Friday the 23rd, Emails stopped getting pushed down to my device.In the Gmail account access logs, you can clearly see "68.171.236.171" checking in every so-often, and that IP resolves to bda-68-171-236-171.bise.eu.blackberry.com, so the Gmail-BIS link is (homefully) working.After two phone calls to O2, they have told me that there are "500 emails in the queue" to go down to my device. Well, where the hell have these come from, since I have around 180 emails (GitHub and Heroku post-push and post-deploy hooks) waiting in the inbox, and so I am left wondering where the 320-ish emails have arrived from in the BIS queue.Anyway, the person at O2 told me to delete all of the emails off of the device as it may be too big for emails to be pushed down. She also said that if it didn't work I would have to take it back into the shop I got it for repair. Big unhappy face since the shop we got it from is quite a long drive away and I will be without my phone on holiday next week.

I also have lost the ability to send text messages and emails, as well.Tried removing the battery and resetting that way, and have also done a soft reboot per AT&T's instructions.AT&T has also reset my registration (or something like that) and have verified that nothing in my service plan has changed.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm unable to read individual emails when using the Outlook Web Access site in the internet browser window.I am using this to check work email and would rather do it this way (over the internet) than using the e-mail client that is part of the device. I'm able to log-in to my inbox and see everything I should see, however when I try clicking on an individual email to read it, nothing happens. I've tried clicking on the sender's name, the subject line and everything else on the line for that email. When I do that nothing happens.Am I doing this wrong? View 4 Replies View RelatedOn my home screen I have a general messages icon I use only for SMS and a gmail message icon that was created when I added my gmail account to my blackberry. I have inbox checked off for the general messages inbox because I don't want duplication of messages with my gmail message folder. Yesterday my new email suddenly stopped appearing in the gmail folder without any known system changes, app additions etc. If I check inbox for general messages they will show up there, but that is undesirable. If I search unopened email in the gmail folder I can find them, but that is undesirable. How do I get the items to show up in the gmail folder the way they have for months without resorting to one of the two workarounds above? Additionally I deleted the gmail account and re-added, but continue to have the same symptoms. I've also performed a hard reset before and after re-adding the account.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter setting up my phone I was recieving e-mails fine however I am no longer recieving any e-mails. It appears that this could be a common problem, being as it is in the troubleshooting in the manual however... I cannot seem to solve it.
I have tried sending service books. Nothing appears to happen as a result of this. I have tried deleting the account from the phone and then adding it again but that doesnt appear to have worked. I didn't recieve an activation message when i re-added it and I don't know if that is important!
I think it may have happened around about when I was solving another problem and I installed the desktop software and backed up and restored all data. I am wondering if some settings got changed somehow as it is since then that I have not recieved any messages.
I have 3 email accounts on the device but for the past week no new emails are being picked up. When going to Setup and Emails, the device displays "Connecting to email settings" and then after a few minutes says "Your device had a problem connecting too the server".

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a BB Tour with Bell Canada, and recently, our company recently updated our BES server.Ever since the switch, I no longer can sync my BIS server emails.So on my BB, I have my company's BES email(lotus notes), and that syncs up fine...if I delete an email from my BB, it'll delete on my desktop, and vice versa.But for my BIS emails(hotmail), when I delete from my BB, it will not delete the email from my hotmail account...or when I delete from my hotmail account, it'll not delete on my BB.
