BB Curve 8300 :: Want To Delete All Emails In Gmail?
Jul 12, 2010
My boss has a blackberry curve. Our small office has moved from outlook to gmail. He uses the gmail icon on his blackberry to check his emails. question is that he wants to delete emails in gmails on his blackberry but they should only be deleted on his handheld and not in the actual account. He wants me to delete around 100+ emails. Is there a faster way opposed to deleting one email at a time.I would appreciate if you guys can guide me with any solution.
I am only getting some of my emails, like I don't get my facebook emails or any email pic's I send from my phone to my email! I have deleted my account and set it up again but now im not receiving anything now! What can I do?
1. I'm using the BlackBerry enhanced gMail connector.
2. I'm able to get new gMail emails on my device
3. I'm able to delete emails on the device, and have them delete in gMailI am not able to:-Delete items in gMail and have them auto-delete on the device.I have set up "E-mail reconciliation" on the device.. and it all should be working.Blackberry KB18426 talks about the "limitations" of the enhanced gMail connector but doesn't specifically mention deletions.Again, I cannot delete FROM gMail and have it show up (deleted / reconciled) on the device.
I have tried going through the setup wizard and edited my gmail account to syncronize deleted emails over BB and Gmail on PC. And then then to the main menu options, email reconciliation, and then had delete set to handheld and mailbox. Turned it on, gave handheld authority. Next, I have both Messages and the Gmail plug in on the desktop of my Curve 8530, and messages including sms and fb and emails all delete fine in Messages. But once I go to the Gmail plug in, same emails as in Messages but these ones don't delete.
I recently just changed over to gmail and after installing the gmail app all my contacts in my BlackBerry 8330 have seem to disapeared. Is there anyway of recovering these contact? I have no backup or other app I was syncing my contacts too before this.
E-mail reconciliation is not working for me with my Gmail account. When I read an e-mail on my BB, it isn't being marked as read in my Gmail. It also isn't working the other way: when I read an e-mail on my computer, my BB doesn't mark it as read.
How can I fix this? E-mail reconciliation in my options is already turned on.
For some reason I am only receiving a portion of my emails on my 8330 blackberry curve. I have had my carrier's support desk (Verizon) walk me through procedures to make sure I am capable of receiving these messages (which I am receiving on my computer, but not all show up on the blackberry).........and now I am hearing from Verizon that I need to contact Blackberry support. Is there a # to call? I don't know where to start. I can see on the Blackberry email setup icon that I have my verizon email address listed there with the correct password (and again, I am receiving some messages, just not all). Am I missing something here? p.s. Also, I can't tell a difference between the emails that show up and those that do not...it's not like it's all the 'gmail and yahoo' messages that I don't receive, for instance...seems to be random.
Emails are no longer being pushed to my 8330 unless I power it off first. When I power it back up, I receive my emails as before. Not sure that anything has changed from previous versions other than downloading latest Desktop manager software.
I have a friend who just got their Curve 83XX from Verizon. They are telling me that their emails are showing in reverse order. They have to scroll down to see the newest emails. I have the 8310 and have not been able to locate any options to prevent or correct this. Has anyone run across this before and if so, how can this be corrected?
Is there a way to list ONLY emails in the Messages screen? I don't want to see Twitter alerts or call log info, JUST emails. Also, is there way a to check for emails manually? When I am home, I don't care about getting the emails on my phone so I want to be able to set how often it checks.
I have a curve 8330 through verizon. for the last two days i have been receiving all of my emails constantly every hour. i have over 400 "new" emails in my inbox, most of which i have already received and have been receiving for the past two days. they are all coming in at the same time and have flooded my inbox and are slowing down my phone. i went to verizon yesterday and they re-freshed my connection with gmail but it didn't do anything to help.
My work Blackberry 8330, using Lotus Notes for email, will take an email I respond to, and within a minute or so of responding to that original email, the original email reverts to "unread" status. This happens every time. It is not "New, Unread", only "Unread". Emails replied to on my PC do not have the same effect on my Blackberry. Is this a setting issue or just one of those things we have to live with?
I got a message that I needed to revalidate my windows live hotmail account. I treid to do this several times but I kept getting the message to revalidate. I was told by verizon to try and delete the email account and then re-add it. I deleted it but now can't add it because it says that my information is wrong or my account doesn't exist. What is going on?
I have 5 text messages that will not delete from my phone. I have tried: a) delete b) selecting them all and delete c) going to the date and delete all prior d) soft reboot with power off e) hard reboot of removing battery with power on
I have deleted other messages before and after these, so it is just these 5 that will not go away!
I have a BB curve 8330 from Verizon.. Lets say I text 10 people and I want to delete the texts from just one of those contacts.. Can I do a mass delete with out getting rid of all the other texts with out having to delete them one at a time?
I have a Blackberry Curve 8330. Yesterday the buttons stopped working. I could use the phone only through the Bluetooth. Based on the information from this forum I tried a number of hard resets and updated the OS. Neither worked. Verizon is exchanging the phone, but I don't want to send the phone back with all of my info on it. Is there any way to clear out all the information on the phone without using the keyboard and the normal wipe memory process?
My Curve suddenly stopped receiving text messages and it shows I have email messages, however, I am unable to access them. I also have lost the ability to send text messages and emails, as well.Tried removing the battery and resetting that way, and have also done a soft reboot per AT&T's instructions.AT&T has also reset my registration (or something like that) and have verified that nothing in my service plan has changed.
I'm unable to read individual emails when using the Outlook Web Access site in the internet browser window.I am using this to check work email and would rather do it this way (over the internet) than using the e-mail client that is part of the device. I'm able to log-in to my inbox and see everything I should see, however when I try clicking on an individual email to read it, nothing happens. I've tried clicking on the sender's name, the subject line and everything else on the line for that email. When I do that nothing happens.Am I doing this wrong? Is there somewhere else I'm suppose to click? Is there possibly some setting that needs to be turned on or maybe one that is on that should be unchecked?Any help would really, really be appreciated.
When I delete an e-mail, nothing happens, I scroll do wn and the icon changes to an opened envelope and greys out but the top line states:(0 items)But it will not disappear. Also, when I create and try to send a message, I get nothing.I have a gmail account which has always worked perfectly but this has started happening in the last few weeks,I have a BB Curve 8520 running software v5.0.0.681I have "338 messages" and counting....
I am getting my sound alerts for incoming email from my Gmail account. Yet, when I go to read it, it's not there. I've checked other folders. I've done a hard reboot.
The track-pad on my BlackBerry Curve 3G 9330 stopped working so Sprint replaced my BlackBerry earlier today and I haven't received an email yet on my new BlackBerry. Email setup brings me to the screen where I, "Move Email Accounts", and after I click it, it says that the device change was successful and prompts me to enter my password. After doing so, it takes me to a screen to synchronize my contacts and when I click that, it says, "Activation failed. An error was encountered when sending the activation transmission." I REALLY don't feel like running down to Sprint again and asking them to configure the email for me. I need my emails.
I have recently had to reformat my 8900 and for some reason after setting up my gmail account i an receiving one copy of each email in my gmail folder and also recieving another copy of the same email in my messages folder. this means that i really am recieving 1 in the email folder and 2copies of the same email in the messages folder. i am using BIS and have tried deleting and re-adding the email account and also resending the service books. i tried looking around but couldn't see the same problem which makes me think it's something simple I'm missing. it's nothing to do with sent messages which i have no problems with.
I am aware that there have been issues raised previously and particularly one thread regarding the time delay between deleting emails on the server which remain on the BB.
My problem is an inability to delete emails on the BB. This problem only affects the Gmail email linked to my BB, not the other email accounts. Prior to linking the Gmail account to the BB, I spent time archiving messages from the Gmail account. This was 10 days ago.
So today I ring my carrier (Orange) for advice. They tell me that there are over 3500 messages in the inbox on the Gmail server and that is what is causing my problem. Whilst speaking to them, I was able to look at the server and confirm that there are only a couple of hundred opened messages on the server as far as I am concerned exactly as I expected.
I do have messages in other folders but the sum total is not per Orange's advice. Its worth noting that there are many many more messages on the respective servers for the other accounts for which no problem exists.
My Gmail and Blackberry sync works perfectly except for one area. When I delete messages in Gmail through my web browser they do not delete through sync on the Blackberry. How can I fix this? It is extremely frustrating to clean 30 emails at my desk only to find them all still on my BB when I hit the road.
I'm running .400 and I cannot figure out why my Gmail doesn't forward to my BB emails sent to myself. If I'm on my PC and I compose a message to the same email address I'm writing from, which is connected with my BIS, the email doesn't appear on my BB ever.In Gmail, I have forwarding disabled but POP enabled.
i just picked up a used 8330 from a friend. i have it activated and i keep getting emails from his email account that was on the phone orginally.. ive completly wiped the device and reinstalled the OS and they still come in any idea how to delete this old email account?
I would like to know how I can delete emails from both my Blackberry and PC at the same time. When I click delete from mailbox & handheld it only deletes from my Blackberry.
