i just got my Blackberry yesterday and set it up -the emails were being forwarded from my computer with no problems. This morning they have stopped and I am not recieving any...I did get an email straight to my phone from Blackberry but nothing from my computer.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have Outlook 2007 on my desktop computer and use BT as a service provider and for my email, my Blackberry supplier is Vodafone and I use BIS.I have noticed that if my Blackberry receives an email first I don't get the same email delivered to my desktop. If my desktop gets an email first then the same email will be delivered to my Blackberry. I was happily deleting emails from my Blackberry thinking I would have them all on my desktop but I now find I have to check what emails I have on each before I delete anything. Is this an issue that anyone has come acrosss before and how do I resolve it apart from synching the Blackberry and desktop?I'm often away from the desktop which is why I bought the Blackberry in the first place.

so i found out there was a new willyboy hybrid out so i wiped, reloaded the phone, restored it and now its still on edge.does it take time to register on tmobiles 3g or something?

I can't sychronize my BB 9700 with Outlook. Same error message in a window that says Intellisync. Message is: "Function OpenFolder failed". Things worked fine yesterday. I tried reloading the software from the CD, then downloading updates, then re-booting the computer.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm done banging my head against a wall and have searched and searched on how to fix this, as although I'm a newbie to this site, I feel like I can generally navigate myself around my BB to fix issues here and there. This one, I cannot, for the life of me! Here's the situation: I had to wipe my entire BB Bold the other day. I did that successful, reloaded all my settings/applications and all was well and good, including syncing my Calendar and Contacts. I realized that my contacts were double, triple and sometimes quadropled during the syncing process, thus having the duplicates on both my device and Outlook. Not to mention, totally reconfigured my "File As" in my Outlook - but that's another topic. Issue at hand, after turning the Wireless Syncronization OFF, checking my Default services and following any advice here on the forums. I now can't get ANY of my contacts to sync from Outlook to my device. Except 2 random contacts. When I go to sync, it registers the address book and asks if I want to delete 8XX contacts from Outlook to Device, which I DON't!Anyway, long winded.
View 7 Replies View Relatednew to blackberry in general. have the bold 9700 and mostly have it on silent so i rely heavily on the red led blinking to signal a missed call. i could have sworn this was always the case cause a vm would generraly acompany the call. the other day the light was green so i thought i was good but in fact i had missed an important call. is this the way it is or is there a setting to have the led blink red with a missed call just like a message.

I now have to go into the address book, then type their name. I can only enter numbers directly from the home screen. Is anyone else having this issue?

View 14 Replies View RelatedNeed some help, recently just bought a Bold 9700 and it was doing fine i.e. browsing, instant message (IM) and emails, but problems surface recently my phone went thru a software upgrade.Problem: device takes longer to register to BIS even though the network sservice status showed "BIS connected via mobile network", I cannot browse, IM or even email...
- I tried to register all the numbers in my HRT but not able to recieve the registration email, only after almost 30mins or so...
- also i realised i have many items in my HRT containing GPRS SG... and Wi-Fi... is this normal?
I keep getting OLD emails on my BB since this morning. I have hotmail and gmail two email accounts registered on the BB. The old emails I keep getting are from my hotmail account only. Some emails went as far back as 2007! I wonder if this has something to do with the BB server.
I also noticed that my BB stopped synchronising with my hotmail acc anymore since I'd upgraded to 9700 from 9000. For example, the emails in my hotmail acc used to get deleted when I choose delete "on mailbox and handheld" on my 9000, but this doesn't work on the 9700 anymore. I have to log on to my hotmail acc from my PC to delete read emails. what's wrong with my BB?
Have only had the phone a few months and all I do so far is talk, text and email. I have the software on my computer but have never used it. I'm sorry if this has been posted already but I don't have time to wade through the threads. I have to leave the computer right now but will be back in a couple of hours.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have been trying to figure this one out for a while. I have two email accounts link to my berry. Both are AOL email accounts. The problem is that when I try o send an email and select from which one to send it from I now have four choice, they are doubling up. For example for email one it shows up as xxxx@aol.com and then xxxx@AOL.com. The same thing happens for my calendars. Each account shows up twice, so in essence it splits them up and I have 4 separate calendars. What can I do to get rid of the extra accounts that show up and correctly show only the two emails(and associated calendars)on my berry.I am at a lost with this one.PS. Went to the blackberry BIS website to make sure I did not type each email in twice when I registered them and it correctly only shows the two emails that are registered.

With an OS v5.0.I have a corporate email set up through "Enterprise Activation" and I have set up my personal emails through the Email Wizard.The problem is: all the emails go to the Main Inbox. So in the Main Inbox, I have a mix of corporate emails and personal emails.The wizard also created different inbox for my personal emails, so I can access them individualy. But there is no way for me to get the personal emails out of the Main Inbox. Or creating a new Inbox for the Corporate emails.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI have my gmail account set up ages ago and was able to delete an email and it would ask me whether I wanted to delete it from the mailbox and handheld or handheld only etc .Recently , that option disappeared , the only option would be "delete" and "cancel" . My other email account is still running fine . I tried deleting and adding the email account again , sent service books , battery pulls , nothing is working . I made sure that the circle is shaded in when it says "sync deleted items."
