I didn't get until now a idea why and how and also I didn't see until know a structure behind this failure. But it haappens not always and I think it have to do something with the signal coverage.

Jan 13, 2012i noticed when i make a call i can't talk for more than 15 seconds either the other person can hear me and i can or the call gets dropped it happens constantly but after like 20 calls i can talk for hours with one line then if i make a call again then it starts doing it again , i can't tell when it happens but it happens 90% of the time and I also tried repairing the phone with pc companion and also upgrading the software still didn't make a difference. i also tried taking the battery out and sim out and put it back in. it still didn't work. i also tried cleaning the phone's cache

Apr 20, 2011I have owned my Atrix for about 3 weeks and it constantly switches back and forth from 3G to EDGE, rinse and repeat. It does this about 30-40 times per day. I have a very strong 3G signal in my area and I notice that my Atrix does this MORE OFTEN than my iPhone 4.Also, I am dropping a lot of calls on the Atrix compared to the iPhone 4, which I was really surprised to see this happening. I do have all of the latest software updates installed on the Atrix.One more thing, I noticed that on AT&T you can't install from "Unknown" sources, hence I would like to take advantage of the daily specials on the Amazon android store and I am unable to do so without the option on the phone.

1. If I take no action, meaning I continue with call 1, both calls are dropped.
2. If I attempt to switch to the other call, both calls are dropped.
3. The incoming (2nd call) is dropped, but I cannot hear the 1st caller.
4. If I attempt to reply to the 2nd caller with a text while continuing the 1st call, the call is dropped.
IPhone 4s :: Freezing / Bad WiFi And Dropped Calls
Jun 27, 2014my IPhone 4S has been having many problems and issues. The wifi has been very weak and often drops out. Then the phone would freeze after trying to take one picture and I would do a reset and it would act fine for a day or two and then would freeze again. Recently the calls I make on it often fail and when they do go through it is awful cell reception where I can barely hear the other person and they cannot hear me and then the calls often drop out in the middle. I don't know what to do I have reset the phone multiple times. I have a Lifeproof case around it and it looks brand new and no wear or tear. Would it be worth waiting for the new IPhone or should I buy an older IPhone 5.

Apr 2, 2012We have two iPhone...both 4. Both are running the latest software. We both have the same issue. One is that frequently when you press the home button to escape an app it doesn't work. If you press the on/off button and then go back to the home button it may work, but not always. It takes repeated tries to get a response.
The second, and perhaps related, issue is that calls frequently do not connect. I can select a contact from either my favorites or the contact list. When I select the name the phone appears to be dialing. You hear the ring once, but no more and the call doesn't connect. Then you can't end the call to start over you have to wait for it to decide to end.
I don't know whether to restore both phones or not. We are thinking of visiting the Genius bar, but we're sure they will work perfectly there.

This can happen when you first answer the phone or while you're in the middle of a call. I already got a device replacement and it's still doing the same thing. Oct 10, 2015My Turbo worked great up until 5.1. At my house, my signal is ~ -110 dBm which is about the same on my AT&T network H815 LG G4. Ill drop about one call every 24-48 hours. I went through hours of troubleshooting with customer service and tech support. I even was shipped a replacement device.
So, eventually a trouble ticket was issued to their engineering department and there answer was High Def voice, when activated in a "weak spot" (-110 dBm is enough to make a call) that it would disconnect the phone. My AT&T G4 never dropped a call at my home.

She has 3.1.2 installed. The phone is also jailbroken. We both have AT&T. She called AT&T and and they did some troubleshooting and they fixed her voicemail, then said that they think that she needs a new SIM.
BB Bold 9700 :: ATT Dropped Calls And Data Stops Working
Feb 5, 2010So i've been using att for about two months now since switching from Verizon. Everything was fine at first but recently i would say within the past month i've been dropping calls and having problems with the data services. I'll be streaming slacker radio and all of a sudden it stops and i have to reboot to get it working again. The dropped calls thing is pretty much random. Im running 5.0.0.405.
Anyone else having this problem? I mean the whole surfing while talking thing is nice but if this keeps up im going to have to just bite the bullet pay the early term fee and switch back!

Apr 28, 2012I am experiencing an inconsistent, but elatively frequent issue with my RAZR. I'm on a call, a second call comes in. Sometimes, I ignore the call and my original call gets dropped. Other times, I switch over to pick up the second call and both calls get dropped. Sometimes, it works is it should and I can go back and forth between calls as expected. This has happened in multiple locations, so I do not believe it is tower specific. I never experienced this issue with the original Moto Droid I owned prior to the RAZR.

Apr 30, 2010I've owned my phone for 8 months and I'm having ISSUES. This thing has been babied all over the place, so I want an expert opinion on what others think might be the problem...and if I should get a replacement phone.
I've had trackball issues with the phone since Day 1, but they weren't so miserable that I couldn't live with it, so I kept the phone. The phone has been pretty great: beautiful screen, fast, etc. etc.For the past month, I've had issue with:
1. Signal - Drops ALL THE TIME now
2. Dropped calls - Often
3. Browser "can't render page" messages when trying to surf the web
4. Hourglass of death
5. White screen
6. Screen freeze
7. Delayed delivery of push email
8. Trackball goes left, when I try to push it right, and vice versa (I even cleaned it)
I called Sprint and after much back/forth, they suggested I get the trackball replaced. I reminded them that won't solve all the other problems, so now they'll send me a replacement ("refurbished") phone instead.Does my phone need replacing or is there something else I can do to fix the above problems?And please don't say "hard reset" - not only has it already been done, but what phone requires so many hard resets in less than a year?
BB Bold 9700 :: Getting Dropped Calls / Call Fail / Cannot Access Server?
Feb 21, 2010I recently upgraded to the 9700 with Tmo in December. Coming from an 8900 I thought it would truly be an "upgrade". Since getting the 9700 i have had more dropped calls, call fail, can not access server etc. The phone will even go into a soft reset mid call, text or email for no reason. I called tmo and the replaced the phone and sim card. it worked well for about a day or two and BAM same crap. I am not so sure its the phone anymore. Some people i talk to say it is TMO service but i have never had this problem before and have been with tmo for 3 yrs.any suggestions /advice?

Apr 11, 2015Having issues with 5GHz wifi becoming unresponsive and needing to be turned off and immediately back on to kick it into working? I've got Smart Network Switch and Download Booster (switch to mobile data if wifi is no good; use wifi + LTE) both switched off, so they shouldn't be a factor..
I even switched them back on and then off just to be sure that they were in fact off.After a painful day spent trying to transfer data to the new phone, and installing all of my usual apps - having to disable and renable wifi at least 50 times throughout the day - I decided to switch from using my 5GHz wifi to 2.4GHz (same router), and it now seems fine. Switching back to 5, and I end up back with the same result - wifi will work fine for a while before stopping.
My Galaxy S5 has no issue using the 5GHz (and neither do any other devices I have), so it doesn't appear to be the router (Asus RT-AC87U) at fault unless there's just some compatibility issue with the S6.

Apr 30, 2015galaxy s6 system ui turns on location often. I catch it about once every 2 days while on my phone. I long press the searching for gps and it shows "lollipop system UI". I'm guessing that is what is turning on the gps for a few seconds(~10s) every so often. I was wondering if there is a setting so it doesn't do that, because I think it's unnecessary.

Aug 11, 2015I am using a stock S6 in the UK and received an OTA update (Vodafone, screenshot attached) two days ago. Now my work exchange email account in the Gmail app has disappeared (no sign of it, all the emails and settings disappear). I can set it up again and it receives email for a few hours but then it randomly disappears again. I have two other accounts (gmail and IMAP) and both are unaffected.
