I just got the S6 Edge for my wife wednesday night. Today she is informing me that she is having multiple dropped calls with the phone. IWe are on Sprint and have never had dropped call issues before.
View 22 RepliesI have owned my Atrix for about 3 weeks and it constantly switches back and forth from 3G to EDGE, rinse and repeat. It does this about 30-40 times per day. I have a very strong 3G signal in my area and I notice that my Atrix does this MORE OFTEN than my iPhone 4.Also, I am dropping a lot of calls on the Atrix compared to the iPhone 4, which I was really surprised to see this happening. I do have all of the latest software updates installed on the Atrix.One more thing, I noticed that on AT&T you can't install from "Unknown" sources, hence I would like to take advantage of the daily specials on the Amazon android store and I am unable to do so without the option on the phone.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWas using 5.1.1 after update and was having a few little issues, nothing too bad, the battery was acceptable. I did a factory reset to try and iron these issues out..... phone now is better however the battery has taken a large hit.
Nothing obviously causing it. All looks normal, when I have charged fully the battery info shows estimated battery at around 9 to 10 hours brightness set below 50% . It's a bit annoying when you do everything to manage it. Was fairly happy before but now... didn't know if it's feasible to keep.
I installed the application pro version (mod Note :unapproved app store removed) for my Samsung s6 edge and removed the lite version and thought that i could sync from dropbox or google drive but it never synced from those applications and I have tried for a very long time to find all my important recorded calls that i never received back in many different ways.

Is this possible without a separate app? If not, what app do you recommend? I really don't need it for anything else other than that.

Not connected but I've got a notification showing on my Facebook icon but no notification or I've already read it. Have uninstalled and reinstalled but still there.
My contact app crashes multiple times a day, so essentially I have no contacts. If someone calls or text they are recognized but nothing is in the app if it decides to open. Also my visual voice-mail craps out when trying to open it. All of this since the t-mobile 5.1.1 update..

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have recently switched from my Note 4 Edge to S6 Edge. I love the phone and the form factor. Only thing I'm missing is the ability to take calls on the edge display. It was specially useful when using GPS and the call details would be on the edge display on the Note not hindering what's happening on the screen. The S6 does not have this capability. Samsung should really implement these features from Note 4 to S6 Edge. I know the S6 Edge does not have the size of the Note's display, but it can be done. Especially if your multi tasking.

While everything seems to be awesome, she is now telling me that she doesn't get a ringing when she dials out unless she puts it on speaker phone. Tried turning off Advanced Calling, multiple reboots, soft reset, and a factory data reset. Nothing seems to fix it.
Is this a setting that I'm missing? Or a bad device?
I've a IPhone 4s and I'm facing real problems to do a call. At the moment I'v e really most times dropped calls. I didn't get until now a idea why and how and also I didn't see until know a structure behind this failure. But it haappens not always and I think it have to do something with the signal coverage.

i noticed when i make a call i can't talk for more than 15 seconds either the other person can hear me and i can or the call gets dropped it happens constantly but after like 20 calls i can talk for hours with one line then if i make a call again then it starts doing it again , i can't tell when it happens but it happens 90% of the time and I also tried repairing the phone with pc companion and also upgrading the software still didn't make a difference. i also tried taking the battery out and sim out and put it back in. it still didn't work. i also tried cleaning the phone's cache

My samsung s6 edges gets too hot. Is it natural that samsung s6 edges cpu temperature Can be high as 57c to 75c? I was about to sell my phone. Now im not sure.
Cooler master software says phones temperature is about 38 c.
I am facing a bit of an irritating problem on my samsung galaxy s6. When I go to phone -> 1-9 keyboard and use it for the letters (2=a,b,c; 3=d,e,f, etc.), I can easily find the number I need. The problem is that for most of my contacts, when I click them, a second window pops up, asking me exactly which number for this contact I'd like to dial. Now.... I don't have a second number for any of my contacts.
When I go and check them in the contacts menu, they only show one mobile number per contact. When the window thingy pops up, it always shows multiple options of the same exact number, or maybe the same number with some spacings added / removed between the digits. I am 99% sure that the problem is because of google contacts, viber, whatsapp, etc., but do not know how to fix it without removing the contact from the app.

I am using a RAZR on Verizon. Frequently, but not 100% of the time, if I am on a call, and another call comes in one of the following things happen:
1. If I take no action, meaning I continue with call 1, both calls are dropped.
2. If I attempt to switch to the other call, both calls are dropped.
3. The incoming (2nd call) is dropped, but I cannot hear the 1st caller.
4. If I attempt to reply to the 2nd caller with a text while continuing the 1st call, the call is dropped.
my IPhone 4S has been having many problems and issues. The wifi has been very weak and often drops out. Then the phone would freeze after trying to take one picture and I would do a reset and it would act fine for a day or two and then would freeze again. Recently the calls I make on it often fail and when they do go through it is awful cell reception where I can barely hear the other person and they cannot hear me and then the calls often drop out in the middle. I don't know what to do I have reset the phone multiple times. I have a Lifeproof case around it and it looks brand new and no wear or tear. Would it be worth waiting for the new IPhone or should I buy an older IPhone 5.

I've noticed that the phone heats up a lot when under a heavy load, which I understand, but when I'm holding it, it feels like it could almost burn me. The phone is not overheating, although when it does heat up I do notice the performance drop. None of this is a dealbreaker, I just wanted to know, is it normal for the phone to get so hot? Is it just because the phone's outer casing is metal and glass rather than plastic that it feels like this?
