When making a call the S6 makes a connection tone and a disconnection tone at the end of the call. You could turn this off on the S5 I cannot find where to turn it off on the S6.

How do I turn on the key tones on the dialer during a call on the 920F? It is enabled in the sound settings but while on a call/speakerphone it key tones do not sound.

You cant keep your headset on or earpiece in without hurting or even damaging your ears. It is extremely annoying to have to take out your earpiece every time you dial someone. Setting the profile to vibrate or silent is no option of course because then you don't hear the phone ring.How do I set the dial tone to silent or much lower volume without reducing the phone ring volume on a BB Bold 9900?

Doing a wipe cache partition fixes it for a little bit and maybe an hour later, it's broken again.
I've also tried doing a factory reset with no success.

Is it just me or does WiFi turn off when you get an incoming phone call? When I am at home, I am hooked up to wifi. When I get a call on my N5, I can see the wifi disconnect, it connects to LTE, then the phone rings. When I hang up, WiFi will reconnect.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought my S6 about 3 weeks ago. I was using it normally, but then I left it and when I came back it wouldn't turn on unless I pressed the volume down key too. After that it kept turning off after 15-30 minutes I turned it on, everytime, and then it simply wouldn't turn on whatever i did, even if a pressed all 4 buttons for 10 seconds. Then I simply pressed the power button and it turned on. It behaved normally for that whole day.
I went to sleep with 45% battery and it died. Again it wouldn't turn on unmattering what i did, and after like 5 hours i pressed the volume down and power again and it turned on (after many tries), wtih 27% battery - and it was always off, but after like 2 minutes it died again, and only turned on, after many tries, when I presed vlm dwn, power and home together, giving me the restart screen with 7% charge. (not that dos/cmd-like, with hard reset and all, only a custom os and restart). it worked normally (draining battery fast), and then shut down again, even if i was charging it, though the whatsapp green led is flashing, so i think it's not completely off.
my phone other than recently the battery life has been pretty bad all of a sudden (I think it's my charger) , anyways I was outside taking a picture on my phone and as soon as it took the picture the screen went black and it was completely unresponsive, tried turning it on, reset, nothing worked. I took the battery out and back in and It turned on, BUT then my time and date was completely wrong and for some reason since the time and date was wrong it made my internet not work.

I know the proximity sensor is responsible for this, but it seems to work properly, as i tested it in LCD test mode (dialing *#0*#). I have noticed when I talk to people, I hear a random 'touch tone' like sound very intermittently.This happens if I make or receive a call and is not just when I talk to other Verizon customers.My home phone used to do this (VoIP) at times. Same sound but now its on the Razr.I never heard this calling the same people when I was on Sprint.
