I am using Android 5.0.2 rooted by pingpong. I have G920FD I have a problem because I can't turn on vibration when I am calling. I want to have vibration when I am calling and have connection and when I call off on the end of my call. Where is this option.?
View 3 RepliesWhen making a call the S6 makes a connection tone and a disconnection tone at the end of the call. You could turn this off on the S5 I cannot find where to turn it off on the S6.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought a Nexus 5 at the weekend and I can't stop it from vibrating when a call or SMS comes in. I have a vibrate off in settings > sound > call and ringtone vibrate and also in Hangout settings but it vibrates anyway.
I've posted screen shots below showing my settings. Regardless of this it's vibrating anyway.
I have bought S6 Edge 3 months ago and I am facing a problem for last few days. It's about vibration. When someone calls me, my phone doesn't vibrate like before i.e two long beeeeeeeeeeeeeeep and instead, it gives two small vibration 'bep-bep' and then complete silence. Because of this I can't answer to most of the calls as I usually put my phone in vibration mode.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an HTC one S mobile , updated to 4.1 Jelly bean , sense 4+every thing is fine now except this issue which it is annoying me so much when i call some one the mobile vibrate when this person answer my call I turned off every vibration option in keyboard , sound , messages & battery power saving.but still it is vibrating, then I turned voice down and used both silent then vibrate profile and still nothing, I restarted my mobile and also nothing.I'm missing some thing in options which it is "vibrate on answer" in sound, I can't find it any where in settings I wasn't facing this issue in Samsung or Sony Android phones ( I used different models) , I just faced this issue in HTC?

Is there a fix that I could do or do I have a defective phone?
Doing a wipe cache partition fixes it for a little bit and maybe an hour later, it's broken again.
I've also tried doing a factory reset with no success.
I recently got my One X back from repair and the 4.3 update has been installed, apparently there is no system calculator and it keeps vibrating if I receive an SMS while on a call! I'm sure I saw a notification setting at some point but how I can find it now!

Edit: yes, the first thing I did was go into the settings and do that, but it doesn't work for texting or whatsapp messages and I don't know how to turn it off for those. I don't mind the vibration when it rings.

The screen turns off when making a phone call. it wasn't doing that before and i have not changed anything. I did what you suggested (turning off the auto adjust screen tone), but that made no difference and still doing that.

The only thing in the settings I've seen is to just turn of notifications completely, which I don't really consider a solution since I would like my phone to vibrate when things come in normally.I've missed the simple setting that stops vibration during a call.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have been using Tasker for quite some time to handle tweaking audio settings for sleep, work, etc. I have it set to mute all notifications except phone calls and alarms at night. I put my phone on the headboard at night so I have it handy in case of that dreaded late night phone call.However, it still vibrates. When I get a text message or email, it vibrates enough to wake me if I am sleeping light (early in the night, or almost time to get up). It's rather annoying.
I have messed around with Tasker settings, and Vibrate On Notify is not an option for this device for some reason. I have even downloaded a few "turn vibration off" apps, and none of them seem to do what they are supposed to do either.Even if I have to manually adjust some settings before bedtime, I'm ok with that.

I bought a new Nokia Lumia 800. I noticed that despite turning off vibration, the phone vibrates each time the back key (<-) is pressed. Is there any way to turn this off. i believe this could save a lot of battery.Also how do we completely close an application in Lumia 800? I opened a page in IE. pressed back key. Then pressed and held back key to find there is no active application or IE running. However, when i open IE next time, I see the previous page has been loaded and it has been active all this time which could have been eating in to my data usage as well as battery charge.

View 1 Replies View RelatedDid a OS ugrade to 5.0.0.681 yesterday as advised by desktop manager when I connected, problem is now no matter how I configure my profiles the vibration is always there when a call,txt,email comes in-done a battery pull etc.
Some new features are good-others bad!-like when you press the top 'play' button all it does is unlock the fone-instead of playing what music was playing before!.
Any clues on the vibration-it's turned off in all profiles but still ruddy gyrates!.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought a HTC M7 (Verizon unlocked) with a broken screen. (stock rom, not modified at all, and with android lollipop). After I replaced the screen, I turned it on and it worked just fine. But after using it for a while I noticed that the notification bar wouldn't come down, so I assumed maybe it was a connection that was giving me that problem and disassembled it again. I checked everything again, made sure everything was in place and reassembly it again.
When I tried to turn it back on, I just got a vibration... and a Black screen. Tried to turn it on again, but again just a vibration and a black screen (not sound at all). I plugged it in my computer and the computer makes the sound that something is plugged in, but the phone does not appear connected (recognized). Also, the charging red light, won't come on. (not even with the charger or connected to my computer)
I've tried:
1) Hold power button + vol/down = just vibration
2) Hold power button + vol/up = just vibration
3) Hold power button + vol/up+down (for about 2 minutes) = just vibrates over and over during that time
4) Previous steps under a bright light. Literally I stepped on a table and did it under a light bulb, and nothing.
I'm quite desperate and sad because it was working great (except for the notification bar), and now it won't turn on... just freaking vibrate..
I left the phone charging during the night and the green light came up in the morning. I tried to turn it On while connected, but the green light disappeared and it vibrated again once...

I know the proximity sensor is responsible for this, but it seems to work properly, as i tested it in LCD test mode (dialing *#0*#). I thought the battery is empty "although it wasn't" I tried to turned it on ..But nothing happened just a black screen not even the little vibrate when u turn the phone on.
