I upgraded my device OS yesterday, and lost my email accounts. When I tried (a gazillion times) to setup the e-mail accounts (comcast and yahoo) I get the fiollowing message when I click the verify button: "Sorry, unable to continue your session. log in again."
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've upgraded my BB Bold 9700 (on Vodafone) to OS6 from OS5 and all meeting invites received now just appear as normal messages and not meeting invites. This means if I open the menu within the message there is no option to accept/decline the invite. This is the same if I open an entry in the calendar where I see the body of the calendar entry but the menu has no option for accept/decline.
When I was still on OS5 this worked perfectly and i was able to receive and respond to meeting invites. I've been through all the options that I can find on the handset and on BB Desktop as well but can't find anything that controls how calendar invites are received and processed.
The version number of the OS on the handset is 6.0 Bundle 2475 (v6.0.0.546).
My email icon (the one associated with an email account added via Blackberry Internet Service) has disappeared after upgrading the Blackberry Device Software via Blackberry Desktop.At the same time after the upgrade Email Setup does no work. Clicking on the setup icon -> email gets the clock timer for 1 second and then nothing.I've now downgraded back to device operating system 6.0 bundle 905 which has made the email setup icon workagain but no email icon has returned.I've requested the service books which have been successful, but no icon. I've removed and reinserted the battery.I can read messages from the general message icon which shows email is getting to the device but I'd prefer the original functionality of a seperate email icon per account appearing in the All Icons section.I think 6.0 bundle 2647 seems a liitle flaxy or something got corrupted at upgrade.

I have had my Bold 9700 (version 6.0) for 2 years on Rogers. Got it unlocked and moved to Koodo (they don't sell and/or support the 9700 model which I have) and the phone works fine but when I go in to set up the email and click on the icon nothing happens.This was working fine before.
The Koodo tech had me change the APN settings to bb.koodo.com but it did nothing. Also went through al the usual stuff like rebooting, etc..
After updating to IOS 5.1 i am having ptoblems connecting to the WIFI. If I reboot my wireless route it will connect Without the reboot it will just set and search. My wife's phone is running 4.2.1 and connects everytime. Can I back out of the upgrade easily until the problem is fixed? My Data plan minutes are on the rise.....

I have no email and no internet connection.All my icons are there but will not connect to send. In the setup wizard it will not connect for email set up so I can not even send service books.

I know my email account is OK as I can see the unread messages on the message icon at the top of the phone showing them arriving but I can not see the app to see them.

I have a Torch running on the Italian provider TIM. I recently upgraded the firmware to version 6.0.0.2534 and since then I am no longer able to access my email account settings or add a new email account. I downgraded to the previous version, but still the problem, upgraded again but no luck. Every time I try to access my e mail settings it tells me to contact my provider, and sometimes the phone just freezes. I've tried all the various battery pulls but nothing. After spending hours on the phone with my provider, they tell me that the problem is not theirs but Blackberry!

View 3 Replies View RelatedI got my BB Bold 9900 just after Christmas and had no problems in setting up my email accounts onto my device (hotmail & sky) however upon downloading the Olympics app it appears too of deleted these. I have gone to my setup and clicked on email accounts but its just not working. It clicks but doesnt act on the click (i can click like 20 times and nothing happens) and the screen remains the same like I havent clicked on anything. I can click on other options as BBM and it goes staright to my BBM chat so no problems with the button except for it doesnt act upon the email account.
I am with T Mobile who have been most unhelpful with this, I have done software updates and still this is not working
I am a new user of BlackBerry (bold 9780). Since I have it I wasn't able to set up an Email account. When I click on "Email Accounts" in the setup, sometimes it brings me to the next step and sometimes nothing happens. In the case it bring me to the next step, when I click on "Internet Mail Account" it brings me back to the previous step. I have already contacted my provider and removed the battery several times but nothing changed.

I upgraded last week again to the new Bold 9900 and this time the email has not come across. It is still there on the blackberry pc page to edit signatures etc., and when I select the option to 'update device' I get the error message 'unable to find device'. I've tried everything, and contacted "Orange" who say they are also unable to access the email as the password is not being recognised?? HELP

When I click on Email Account under Set-up, nothing happens but everything else under set-up works fine, its just email. It worked fine when I first got it but after i downloaded the new OS 6 it stopped working (or it might have been something else but i only noticed it after i downloaded it).

Have set up BIS, but whenever I have tried to set up any of my email accounts it just keeps coming up with error - unable to connect to server, then user name and password must be incorrect, check your server. All user names and passwords correct. Have gone through the cold reboot - Registered the Blackberry, removed the Service Books and tried to reinstate the accounts and it keeps coming up with the same error.

Since upgrading to ios 5.1.1 I can not remove video podcasts from my iphone 4s.
I tried unticxking sync podcasts and agreed to the warnng saying they will be deleted from the phone, after synching they are still there. I remove them from itunes altogether and sync, same result.
When I go into the videos app and delete them there they dissapear temporarily. But if I exit the videos app and load it back up the videos are miraculously back.
Everything was fine until I upgraded to 5.1.1 last month, I just didnt notice until today when space was getting low.
how to remove them from the phone without having to do a restore?

Well I have had my blackberry tour for almost a week and i put the OS5.0 .419 tonight. so far so good, but i have my regular message folder, but there is no email folder and i went and setup my email ont he phone but there is no foler that i can find to actually read them in. its not evn getting any of my email cuz i sent one to the registered address. its not abig deal as it did drive me nuts getting all my emails on it, when i only check email when im away from home on my phone. i can always log on line to do it thru the phone, its just buggin me. i had the htc touch pro before this, and the blackberry so far is a love hate thing.

I am still receiving messages from that accont but they go to the general mailbox for messages, not my individual email box. My other 2 email accounts have their folders and icons available

View 8 Replies View Relatedmy BB: 9900 OS: 7.1 Bundle 1424 using BB Businese Cloud Service for connecting my Microsoft 365 email.I have problem after upgraded my BB 9900 OS from 7.0 to 7.1 since 14 June.
Once I active my email in BB after upgrade to OS 7.1.The email send/receive is ok after active, but the email in my mailbox which older than activation time, never download to my BB.Besides, the delete folder never sync with my mailbox, always empty, which my mailbox have many deleted email in delete folder.
And the send/receive of my BB is very unstable in my BB last few days, it will delay receive and fail to send, need resend again and again, I checked with local mobile service provider.They confirmed nothing wrong with their network, the problem only happen in BB Cloud service.
