BB Torch :: Unable To Upgrade Facebook And BBM Applications?
May 27, 2012
I have a BB Torch 9810. I have been trying to upgrade my Facebook and BBM applications but I receive an error message telling me to log in every time I try to upgrade them. I have tried everything including restoring my phone and I still get the same message.
I have nokia c5-03. It has native facebook app l when i try to use it shows "an unrecoverableerror occured reboot might help" & so I amunable to use it.
I upgraded my software on the BB Torch 9800 and now these applications are missing Blackberry Maps,Paswordkeeper,Word,Exceland powerpoint.I cannot find these applications on the App world to reinstall them
i have nokia 5230 it has native facebook app when i try it to open it it shows 'an uncoverable error occured reboot might help' it just showin this nothing ahead it i am unable to use fb through it.
My Facebook icon has disappeared after doing the latest app world upgrade. App world says its installed but I can't find it. Checked the hidden icons and its not there either. In Options, App Management it says its 'Not Running'. How do I get it back??
Since I did the facebook upgrade I can't save nothing on my calendar. If I put an appoitement for exemple it save then as soon as open facebook and close it everything is lost
I'm having a hard time logging in to facebook for 2 days now. Error message keeps popping up. The exact message is "we cannot reach the facebook server at this time. please try again later. (100)". And on my Twitter, the error message is "BWP security token retrieval failed." I already done the hard reset and even tried clearing stuff that I could. Should I re-install facebook and twitter?
everytime i login, this message is always coming "you are currently on a sevice plan that does not support this apllication, please connect to a wifi network or contact your service provider to upgrade your data". im using my own wifi connection, and i registered already in blackberry internet service in my network.
I am unable to restore several programs (PWKeeper, BBM, BBTraffic, Memo, Tasks, Maps) after a wipe and OS upgrade. I backed up the phone prior to the wipe but did not turn off wireless sync. Learning now that I should have. I have deleted desktop sync service book, rebooted, tried to restore. No success. Even reinstalled OS. Is there combo-keys to enter on phone that turns off wireless sync prior to restore? DM is not allowing me to restore these apps. 9850 Storm.
I have tried several times to load this upgrade by both apploader and desktop software. Apploader states that the update is not available from this server, the desktop software downloads it but hangs during the device backup. I have even tried to do a backup from the desktop software and the backup hangs too.
I am unable to connect to applications like Facebook, App world, Twitter etc. through 3G or Wifi both while web browser works quite fine with both, 3G and Wifi.
I upgraded to the 6.0 OS software this morning. I am not sure what happened but I am receiving emails and unable to reply to them. I have gone to the settings tab and tried to add my email and the phone either freezes or goes back to the main setting page. I have tried wiping the phone, doing hard resets and nothing is working.
I am trying to upgrade my BB torch 9860 OS version to 7.1.0 bundle 1646, But unable to do.I try to upgrade using the aploader as well bb desktop manager.
Actually this is my new torch 9860. I've created new blackberry account for It. After upgrading the new version of application world, I was unable to login to my blackberry Id account with the correct password. Even if you sent new app world upgrading with a bug free version, I still can't upgrade coz its required my blackberry id.
Im trying to log into facebook on my blackberry curve 8530. And keep telling me a connection cannot be established to the facebook server. Ive tried restarting the phone, taking the battery out and all.
I use Nokia N8,the challenge is that the RAM is small such that applications using phone memory thus making the phone slow.Every time i want to delete such applications such as maps,i get this message ''operation failed''I always ensure that the applications are closed before i delete. What could be the best way to end this and create space on my phone.
i have a Nokia C2-02 touch&type. Why i can't open some apps after i restore my phone? One of it is the COMMUNITY app. Everytime i want to open it, it says "invalid application. delete?".
My bbm won't work and i can't get on facebook.i do have a blackberry data plan because i have had several blackberrys before and never had this problem. i have been on the phone to vodafone and there was nothing they could do.i have done a battery pull, tried to click register now on host routing tables.. it says message sent but then nothing after that, i have completely wiped my phone and tried again but nothing happens, i have taken the battery and sim out then put the battery back in with no sim then put the sim back in and still no luck.
It won't let you delete it by organising, and it won't let you delete it by App Manager > Installed Apps > Long Press > Unistall it just says 'Removing Cancelled' in both cases. I've removed the facebook installer but this makes no difference.
I am using nokia c2 01,and i download facebook app from ovi store, then it replaced over preloaded app of facebook in my phone.i deleted it. Then i din't found the application even i reset the mobile
i have nokia 701 and in nokia browser the facebook is not opening correctly.nor the page is displaying correctly niether the any other function can be used such as like, comment, share etc.any app which have all these functions of facebook.
I try to install Facebook chat from Ovi and don't work. I have nokia e5-00. I don't know way, I don't have an error message. My soft version is 081.004.
I can send my location into my facebook account, but the delivered map link does not work. The link is opened, but no map.If I take the map link as copy/paste in properties I can open the link.Same thing happens, if I send a point from ovimap in suite.
