BB Torch :: Unable To Open Facebook Application In 9800?

View 4 Replieseverytime i login, this message is always coming "you are currently on a sevice plan that does not support this apllication, please connect to a wifi network or contact your service provider to upgrade your data". im using my own wifi connection, and i registered already in blackberry internet service in my network.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI needed to setup a secondary email addy with RogersWireless yesterday and while I was there I got the bright idea to change my password for my primary account.This totally screwed my BB (no more email being received) sent me an email saying I needed to verify my password.tried to go into Setup to access my email settings..my BB freezes and I have to shut it down and re-start.Next bright idea...go to Messages Options then try to access email settings that way...message comes up and says "Unable to open email setup application. Contact your wireless service provider."Now I'm not saying I don't enjoy spending an afternoon chatting with Rogers but is there anyway to fix this without having to waste an afternoon?

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter recent OS upgrade to current OS v6.0.0.600 my browser email such as hotmail won't spawn links embedded in an email. The link is hot and can be clicked and open but does not do it automatically as it did on former OS versions. Now here is the interesting part. If I turn off phone antennae and go WiFi, it works perfectly. I prefer to read browser email as such and not deliver it to my BB inbox.

Finding using Facebook on the browser all the time really slow and annoying so would really like some help as to how to get my app back and working again!

View 2 Replies View RelatedHow do i reset the fb password in bb application??I logged out of my profile so that i cud assist someone with their profile on my phone( i had logged in via google, so i logged out there).When wanted to log back in i realised that i had forgotten password so i had it reset, and i confirmed the whole process with the email notification via my email etc..When i now went to fb via bb application it requested emaill ad which i typed in. And it asked password which i entered( the new password) and it was rejected.I tried entering all passwords that i cud think of but nothing..Now i just want to have password reset but i do not know how to do that in the bb application side..Please assist me as im failing to chat or get notification.

I have successfully created my BB Account onto the Carrier Site and added the Email IDs these are reflected onto the device but as I am unable to open Email Accounts under Setup I am unable to Edit or Delete the Email Accounts which I don't won't on this Handle. Every time the Modifications have to be done by going to the Carrier website.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy blackberry torch 9800 was working perfectly fine untill for some unknown reason the screen went completely pixelated, from then on it appears to be normal until you slide open the phone to use the qwerty keypad, therefore i can only use the phone when it is slided shut and have to rely on the touch screen. the only way to get the screen back to normal is to slide it shut and repeatedly press the lock button until it restores itsself and on multiple occassions i have had to remove the battery for the phone to go back to normal.
does anyone know if this is a software problem? or a maufacture problem? or has it been damaged? and is there anyway to fix it..
When the slide is closed the screen turns on just fine, but when I slide it up the screen turns off. Also, possibly unrelated, it seems that the touch screen just stopped working as well whether or not the slide is open. The phone also will not connect to BB Desktop. I've had my torch for just over a year and I don't believe I have a warranty for it.

View 8 Replies View RelatedWe purchased two 9800 Torch phones and both are having the same issue. Word, Excel, and PDF files all open fine on the devices. However, some emails will be received with attachments but the phone does not give the open or download attachment options. If you forward the message from the device, the attachment will still be attached. The issue is intermittent and I have not been able to pin down any consistently as I have received several emails with attachments successfully. The emails that will not give the attachment options also do not have the little paperclip on the email icon from the messages view. Again, hen this exact email is forwarded the attachment will arrive at the destination.
BES version 4.1.7.19
Both users had no issues on prior devices with multiple attachments opened daily.
