its been about 5 weeks.. my facebook notification on my facebook application are not receiving.i've tried deleting the facebook application and then re-installing it... and NOTHING WORKS!

I had to get a replacement BB today, and I downloaded FB for BB onto the new phone and now I don't get any of my notifications through the app. I don't want notifications through email OR text.

View 6 Replies View RelatedHow do i reset the fb password in bb application??I logged out of my profile so that i cud assist someone with their profile on my phone( i had logged in via google, so i logged out there).When wanted to log back in i realised that i had forgotten password so i had it reset, and i confirmed the whole process with the email notification via my email etc..When i now went to fb via bb application it requested emaill ad which i typed in. And it asked password which i entered( the new password) and it was rejected.I tried entering all passwords that i cud think of but nothing..Now i just want to have password reset but i do not know how to do that in the bb application side..Please assist me as im failing to chat or get notification.

Now when the phone starts the app gives me a popup informing me that it is attempting to open a file connection which is not allowed. Everytime I click OK however, it just prompts again. This means I cannot change the permissions or even remove the app, as the popup is always on top.

For a year or so everything worked great, but now whenever I text her she does not receive any notification (except for a split second small red notifier on the Messages icon) that the text has gone through. If she isn't looking at the Messages icon at that exact instant she wont' know I've texted her. She has to open up Messages and the text is then visible.Sometimes when we're texting each other the messages read as if I am texting myself.All of the texts are on the right side of the screen.And sometimes the phone says the text is coming from my phone when it's actually coming from her phone.This is a nuisance.When I need to send a text I'm not sure if it's being received or not.It seems like this problem started when I opened up my iCloud account.Nothing seems to fix it.Also, when my daughter uses her iPod Touch to text me it says it's coming from my wife. And, when she receives texts from her friends it comes to my phone in addition to her iPod Touch. Very confusing.No one at the Apple store could help. They just kind of pushed me along.

Ever since then whenever I get a text message I have been getting my standard text ringtone as well as my default notification sound.Not sure at all how to go about fixing this. Looked in settings but to no avail. Tried resetting phone but didn't do anything.I found out through some trial and error that the thing causing the text notification ringtone and the default notification to both ring is having vibration turned on for texts. Turned it off and the problem is resolved.
