I had to get a replacement BB today, and I downloaded FB for BB onto the new phone and now I don't get any of my notifications through the app. I don't want notifications through email OR text.

For a year or so everything worked great, but now whenever I text her she does not receive any notification (except for a split second small red notifier on the Messages icon) that the text has gone through. If she isn't looking at the Messages icon at that exact instant she wont' know I've texted her. She has to open up Messages and the text is then visible.Sometimes when we're texting each other the messages read as if I am texting myself.All of the texts are on the right side of the screen.And sometimes the phone says the text is coming from my phone when it's actually coming from her phone.This is a nuisance.When I need to send a text I'm not sure if it's being received or not.It seems like this problem started when I opened up my iCloud account.Nothing seems to fix it.Also, when my daughter uses her iPod Touch to text me it says it's coming from my wife. And, when she receives texts from her friends it comes to my phone in addition to her iPod Touch. Very confusing.No one at the Apple store could help. They just kind of pushed me along.

Ever since then whenever I get a text message I have been getting my standard text ringtone as well as my default notification sound.Not sure at all how to go about fixing this. Looked in settings but to no avail. Tried resetting phone but didn't do anything.I found out through some trial and error that the thing causing the text notification ringtone and the default notification to both ring is having vibration turned on for texts. Turned it off and the problem is resolved.

I do not have visual voice mail -- this is just plain ol' voicemail. I don't get texts notifying me of VM, either, but I'm not sure I'm set up to receive text notifications, so I'm less concerned about that.
I've been notified before that there is a new voicemail for me, and after that there was a little icon up near the email and text message icons until I listened to it. I've have really tried to disable getting a notfication when recieving an email (gmail account) on my s6. Eventhough I've tried to turn the sound off in settings and anything else I could think of, I'm still getting the same sound notification as recieving a text message.

The only way that I know there is an image text is if I happen to open my text screen to send a text. Then I have to automatically download the image, and then it notifies me that there is a text. I use Facebook for Blackberry.So here's my problem - a few days ago I checked my Blackberry Bold 9700 and saw that I had received 28 email messages and 8 Facebook notifications.However none of these emails or Facebook notifications was new. They were all ones I had already received that day.
I deleted them all, and guess what - an hour later and they all came back into my email inbox and Facebook notifications.When I went to sleep that night, I woke up with 136 emails and 26 Facebook notifications - ALL OF THEM THE SAME REPEAT EMAILS OVER AND OVER AGAIN!
I have been on forums and tried removing my battery and SIM card (not very technical, that) as well as resending the Service Books after doing this. Nothing has solved this problem though.I really hope someone can help please as I'm seriously thinking of ditching my BlackBerry and buying an iPhone where this problem doesn't occur.
I recently downloaded the Facebook app from BBAppWorld, and it's been working perfectly fine.
Anyway, I know that when you get a new notification, a little icon appears at the top of your screen with the blue 'F' logo and a red star on, to show that it's unread. Anyway, I checked all my notifications then deleted them, but I still have a '1 F' icon at the top (without a red star) - even after deleting all my notifications again.
Everytime i click for notifications, an error message appears. "Cannot retrieve the notifications. Please try again later [601/Parser error:unexpected '-' at position 64.]"
