I receive all Facebook notifications on Blackberry Torch. However, any notification related to Facebook Groups come only as email and I do not get push notification for it.
View 2 RepliesI have Facebook app on my blackberry bold 9780 and I can never receive notifications from my group posts. I always get the group notifications when I go to the mobile website, but this is annoying as I'm always having to check it every few hours. This defeats the purpose of having the blackberry app when I have to keep checking the mobile site for replies on my group wall. Why can I not change/update the app settings so notifications from a group post is sent to my email?

I've tried restarting, taking the battery out, updating. The only thing that works is logging out of my facebook, but i still want to get the notifications so I dont like that option.

Whoever, whenever I receive an inbox message on FB, then I receive the notification for it. I tried doing a battery pull, I logged off then on, I checked for updates. View 3 Replies View RelatedAs of about a week ago, I have started receiving only about 10% of the messages and notifications from facebook that I used to receive to my Blackberry. 90% of the messages and notifications now just get stuck in facebook and I only see them when I log into fb through my laptop.
As of the last week, every once in a while I will receive some facebook message or notification to my blackberry, but the majority don't make it to my Blackberry and instead just stay on facebook until I open the site on my laptop.
Stopped receiving e-mail, facebook, and texting-device will not recognize my e-mail or password when I attempt to re-set extremely frustrated-spoke to India- they could not help-ATT has only one who knows "Blackberry"

The main thing that is bugging me is that i'm not able to receive group messages when any of my friends send them via their iPhones.
Checked the following basic things but not sure what else could be the problem... Checked all of their phones to make sure my number is saved under 'phone' and not iPhone in their contactsForgot to turn iMessage off on my iPhone before i switched phone and network but used my new simcard in a friends iPhone and turned it off,
We use a paging system (text message) when we get called into work and it comes from a different number each time ex: 7777129401 the next page will be 77771291048. With my Galaxy S4 I was able to set a separate text notification for all of my groups of contacts while my default text messaging notification would be a loud siren (to wake me up in the middle of the night). This means anytime I got a "page" for work or if someone texted me and I didn't have their number in my phone the siren would go off. The only way I can figure out how to do this in the S6 is to individually go to each contact and set a custom notification and set my default to the siren. I have over 800 contacts, so this would take forever! I also used to use an app called Alirmer before I got the S4, because I did not have the capability with the Droid Bionic, but for some reason this app does not operate correctly on the S6.

Mostly everyone that I know has an iPhone. I had one as well but I made sure I turned off imessage before I switched to the Nexus.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSince the Lollipop update (I know, I know...) my group text messages haven't been downloading. Sometimes I'll see the MMS trying to download but it just times out and I never see it.
But then tonight I found out that I wasn't receiving any text messages from my roommates. The individually sent texts would come through but not the group ones.
Verizon ended up having me do a hard reset and it still didn't work.
The kicker though, my roommates turned off the iMessage/turn to regular SMS on their iPhones and app future text messages started coming through.
But I wasn't getting text messages from others with Androids too. It seems to be only on group messages though.
Suddenly, I am not receiving group texts on my iPhone5. It appears than I can send them, but I don't receive them. I haven't had this problem in the past. The group text that I am not receiving is between 2 people that I have sent and received group texts from before. T-Mobile suggested turning the settings on and off again, they wanted me to delete all my old text threads, which I don't want to do. I'd rather save that as a last resort.

I use facebook messenger as my main texting app on my HTC One. But after I updated to 4.3, I found that I am no longer able to send a group SMS/MMS message through FB messenger. When I try to add a second person to the message, it says I have reached the maximum number of recipients.

I have read a lot about it, so I shut off iMessage on my mac and even disabled my number with iMessage on Apple's site. However, I am still not receiving some texts from iPhones. If they send a text just to me i get it fine (even though they may have to click send as a text message) but I won't be able to get it in a group text. It is frustrating because I can see some texts but not all of them. This has been happening for over a month now.

View 1 Replies View RelatedNot long ago I took screenshots of in my phone (Xperia Z3) and camera shots which I then sent in a group chat on Facebook to some friends. Not long after I deleted them and it was fine. Recently I have noticed those photos are coming back whenever someone in the group chat sends a photo. Based on this I believe it has something to do with the Accounts section with syncs the contacts and such to your phone.
It is always the same group of images that reappear despite the fact I constantly delete them. I have tried restoring the phone to factory settings, making backups with images deleted and restoring it, removing my accounts and retrying them along with several other solutions. However, I still cannot seem to delete the photos.
