I am having problems with my BB Curve 8900 updating FB posts and posts from others in my group. It doesn't show the entire screen and when I "refresh" the device, it takes me back to one post that was last week and uses that as my home page.

I have Facebook app on my blackberry bold 9780 and I can never receive notifications from my group posts. I always get the group notifications when I go to the mobile website, but this is annoying as I'm always having to check it every few hours. This defeats the purpose of having the blackberry app when I have to keep checking the mobile site for replies on my group wall. Why can I not change/update the app settings so notifications from a group post is sent to my email?

However whenever I check for updates via the blackberry site the desktop manger pops up and does not offer this upgrade. All it says it 4.6.1 (current) and the rest are downgrades, so I'm not quite sure what I need to do to get the new OS to even appear, much less download it and work.

I have reinstalled dm to the current version and still nothing. I have download multiple new 5.0 os(.348-.411) and deleted the vendor file and when i plug the berry in after installation it goes to check for a update and it does not find any. If you then try to go thru dm and update software it only has those two older versions listed even though i installed the newer ones.

After the last update, I noticed that a lot of SMS items that I had been keeping deliberately were lost and only the latest ones remained. I have two questions: 1- Is there a way I can retrieve them? 2- Why the people who designed the update take the liberty to delete messages without warning?
