BB Torch :: Deleting Device Log And Facebook Notifications?

Ever wondered how to delete the facebook notifications that are choking up your message folder and why your BB is moving slow?Well..Every action on your BB is logged, which in time will slow your bb down...At least once a week, hold ALT key and press LGLG (the letters) while on your home screen. You will see the logs. Then click the Blackberry menu button and select "clear log" this keeps phone moving 100% faster
How do I do this? I can delete my emails and texts from my messages, but can't work out how to delete BB FB notifications that I no longer want there, as they clutter it up a bit after a while.
My Bold 9700 will not give me the option to delete facebook notifications and other mail messages from facebook from my mailbox(Hotmail) and my Bold 9700. I can only delete facebook messages on my device and then I have to go onto my Hotmail separately to delete emails.All other emails delete on both Hotmail and Bold 9700.Anyone who can tell me a way to delete facebook emails and notifications on my bold and hotmail at the same time will be a great help?
I had to get a replacement BB today, and I downloaded FB for BB onto the new phone and now I don't get any of my notifications through the app. I don't want notifications through email OR text.
Been searching here and cannot find the answer...I apologize if I missed something, but been going back and forth through the forums and online...Updated the Facebook app to latest version (1.8....) when I updated other apps/OS on my phone (8900, OS 4.6.1). Prior to that I think I had downgraded to 1.5 (or 1.6) to be able to upload photos consistently (didn't work with any "newer" version, so went backwards). With that version running...lacked features, but ran fine and photos were uploaded every time (FB started compressing them again, which is why I opted to try the update to 1.8)...my notifications were working properly gmail account on BB (only email associated with handheld) has FB emails set to skip inbox, mark as read etc. when you view on the web. Notifications came through FB app on BB (red star and alert) just fine, AND were "hidden" in BB messages folder. You could navigate to them, but didn't clutter the inbox. I am VERY confused about the settings on this 1.8 version. Right now I get notifications on the app (red star, can read through app), BUT they also stay in my gmail inbox on the handheld which obviously takes up a LOT of space and don't want to have to constantly delete them. I do NOT get notified of a new email or anything, but want these hidden as they were in previous version.I WANT the emails to go to my gmail account they way they had been, I just do not want them to show up on my BB in the gmail inbox. Tried settings in options menu and doing via FB on the web, but can't find the right combination. Only see people with opposite problem of NOT getting notifications through FB app on BB, and I don't want to mess anything up.Can someone please help and explain what may fix this to go back to hiding the EMAIL version of the notification JUST on the handheld without disabling notifications through the app or with my web email?
how i delete a post from facebook. for example. if i post something on someones wall then i want to delete it how do i do it and if they post things on my wall how do i delete that.
I just got a blackberry torch yesterday and the facebook notifications won't clear even after ive gone through every single notification. I've tried restarting, taking the battery out, updating. The only thing that works is logging out of my facebook, but i still want to get the notifications so I dont like that option.
I am having problems deleting notifications Recieved from FB which could be from status updates or emails that I have replied to, I have now gone to options and turned off the BB message applications, so I no longer receive them as an email, however I prefer to get them this way..as the only way to delete is to keep uninstalling and reinstalling FB!
I'm not sure why, but suddenly my Facebook notifications stopped working on my phone. Whenever my friends write on my wall or anything, I don't get a notification for it. Whoever, whenever I receive an inbox message on FB, then I receive the notification for it. I tried doing a battery pull, I logged off then on, I checked for updates. But it still doesn't receive any notifications.
As of about a week ago, I have started receiving only about 10% of the messages and notifications from facebook that I used to receive to my Blackberry. 90% of the messages and notifications now just get stuck in facebook and I only see them when I log into fb through my laptop.
As of the last week, every once in a while I will receive some facebook message or notification to my blackberry, but the majority don't make it to my Blackberry and instead just stay on facebook until I open the site on my laptop.
I receive all Facebook notifications on Blackberry Torch. However, any notification related to Facebook Groups come only as email and I do not get push notification for it.
A hard reset (remove the battery while the BB is on) seems to have worked. I say seemed since it has been reported on this board that it may return when the "service books" are updated...I'm new to BBs. I just purchased it today and against my better judgment installed FAcebook (FB). After getting a deluge of mindless drivel pushed to my new BB I decided FB was not coming near my BB again.So I found the icon - menu - delete. I restart the BB as instructed and to my surprise the icon is still there.I tried to move the icon into a folder but I don't know how to move it because the menu button does nothing when I select the icon and press menu.
And there are some FB messages too. I deleted the FB messages - when I check my messages it reports I have no messages in FB ... BUT there is a little FB icon at the top of the screen showing one message. This one message seems to be relic but I have no idea how to reset or delete it.I also tried the BB desktop software. It shows that it is uninstalled. There appears to be no way of deleting icon, moving the icon, or deleting the FB message indicator either.
I am new to the forum, and I am very frustrated with my phone. I've had it for 2 years, no problems, till the last few weeks.About 3 weeks ago, I stopped getting any messages or notifications from FB on my blackberry. Don't know how to fix that.I also cannot delete notifications I did get back to 9/27.I cannot erase my messages. It was erasing all of them just fine, then it was deleting current ones.Now its not deleting any. I have messages on my phone going back to 9/27. I've had this problem a few times here and there, but if I turned it off, took battery out and put back in and turned back on, it'd let me do it.I can't find anything on this website to help either problem. I am able to get an upgraded phone, but can't afford it right now. And even when I can, not so sure it'll be a blackberry. I really don't understand all the technical mumble jumble.
Someone I don't know invited me to be friends on BBM.I declined, but the invite notification is still showing up every time I get another notification. How can I make this unwanted invite go away?
I have tried now for several weeks to delete messages on my Facebook app. When I return to the mailbox on facebook, the emails keep coming back. What is the issue that will not allow them to be permenantly deleted and it continues to reload the messages
I have been trying since Saturday to deleat about 50 messages on my phone that are not deleating. I have tried clearing cashe from Fb APP.I have restarted phone. Nothing is working at all.
My facebook app (not the facebook messenger) keeps turning the notifications off.
i like to keep it turned on for things like new friends requests, tags and comments on my wall.
i am not sure when this happens, because when i turn them on they stay on for the immediate future but after a few days when i fail to be notified by this app i check again to find out they have been turned off again.
All of a sudden I am receiving double notifications for my Facebook, I now get the normal Facebook icon & now another annoying bell icon that takes me straight to the Facebook website.

I keep getting all facebook notifications on my blackberry emails however not on my pc. How do I stop this. This only started when I did an upgrade last week to 6.0 I hate this version and would love to go back to the previous version as it had mor options and it was a lot more user friendly.
1) I have trouble disabling notifications Such as Facebook and email and twitter. I wanted my device to show new messages only when I open it, not constantly pushing it to me! Anyone knows how to do that? 2)When I tried to open My World from App World, it took soo long to initialize it.
I cannot seem to clear my facebook notifications from my taskbar once I have looked at them in facebook. The icon still stays on the taskbar, just without the astrick next to it.
Ever since I installed the latest software update for HTC one a few days ago which rectified calling issues, I no longer get notifications for facebook messenger or gmail. In fact Gmail is no longer pushed and requires manual refresh. I've checked the settings for sync, restarted my phone and even uninstalled and re installed.
I remember a couple of months ago when fb push notifications went live on the facebook app...only to be plagued with extreme unreliabilty with no sound or vibrate...an ailment that still exists within the app today. i recently installed boxcar because of the great things and reliabilty i have heard it has...only to be disappointed again. and when i say disappointed, i mean the product didnt work AT ALL. i mean not one single push notification from facebook has been received. seriously...whats the deal...is it that hard to support push notifications for facebook?
We cant get Facebook notifications. We get the Alert on the Me tile but when we get into the NOtifications section and click onthe notification we get the following message - "Cant get Picture. It may be a connection issue (You can try again Later) Someone else's Picture? It maybe an issue with their privacy settings"All other sections of the Facebook integrations work fins, apps, email, browsing all works fine.Internet works perfect, dont know what the issue is with the Notifications, even if it is my own Picture.
Anyway to change notifications so that when someone comments on a status or something i post i can have it pushed to my phone. It sometimes work but all the time I gotta keep going into facebook and see what the notifications are.
