1) I have trouble disabling notifications Such as Facebook and email and twitter. I wanted my device to show new messages only when I open it, not constantly pushing it to me! Anyone knows how to do that? 2)When I tried to open My World from App World, it took soo long to initialize it.

If I have everything going like normal, there are 5 notifications that I cannon clear off that take up the entire drop down. Makes everything look cluttered.Cable charging, connected as media deice, power save on, 1 device connected for tether, and then the select keyboard. I always get the group notifications when I go to the mobile website, but this is annoying as I'm always having to check it every few hours. This defeats the purpose of having the blackberry app when I have to keep checking the mobile site for replies on my group wall. Under Application Manager, Facebook...the Show Notification box is unchecked.

My Bold 9700 will not give me the option to delete facebook notifications and other mail messages from facebook from my mailbox(Hotmail) and my Bold 9700. I can only delete facebook messages on my device and then I have to go onto my Hotmail separately to delete emails.All other emails delete on both Hotmail and Bold 9700.Anyone who can tell me a way to delete facebook emails and notifications on my bold and hotmail at the same time will be a great help?

Currently, I have to click 'mark prior unopened' in order to erase the yellow mail icon with the red star -- so that the icon doesn't show up in the status bar.
I'd prefer to not see this notification at all. Same with facebook notifications. Haven't found the settings for these.

Hi just wondering when i receive notifications on facebook my phone doesnt beep to say that i have a notification i have looked in the sound profile settings and changed the facebook setting but still no luck. I recieve emails without no problem phone beeps to say that i have a new email. Is anyone else having this problem with facebook.

i like to keep it turned on for things like new friends requests, tags and comments on my wall.
i am not sure when this happens, because when i turn them on they stay on for the immediate future but after a few days when i fail to be notified by this app i check again to find out they have been turned off again.
All of a sudden I am receiving double notifications for my Facebook, I now get the normal Facebook icon & now another annoying bell icon that takes me straight to the Facebook website.
