BB Bold :: Can't Delete Facebook Notifications In "Messages"
Dec 6, 2010I get Facebook notifications in my message box and then can't delete them! There are 11 in all that won't go away.

Sep 8, 2010How do I do this? I can delete my emails and texts from my messages, but can't work out how to delete BB FB notifications that I no longer want there, as they clutter it up a bit after a while.

May 11, 2011I am having problems deleting notifications Recieved from FB which could be from status updates or emails that I have replied to, I have now gone to options and turned off the BB message applications, so I no longer receive them as an email, however I prefer to get them this way..as the only way to delete is to keep uninstalling and reinstalling FB!

Aug 17, 2011As of about a week ago, I have started receiving only about 10% of the messages and notifications from facebook that I used to receive to my Blackberry. 90% of the messages and notifications now just get stuck in facebook and I only see them when I log into fb through my laptop.
As of the last week, every once in a while I will receive some facebook message or notification to my blackberry, but the majority don't make it to my Blackberry and instead just stay on facebook until I open the site on my laptop.

Jun 22, 2011I get constant email, and would prefer to have my blackberry set so I don't see any notification icons visually for facebook and email. Currently, I have to click 'mark prior unopened' in order to erase the yellow mail icon with the red star -- so that the icon doesn't show up in the status bar.
I'd prefer to not see this notification at all. Same with facebook notifications. Haven't found the settings for these.
Is there any way to set the Bold 9700 so I don't see any visual notifications for email?

Dec 10, 2011Since I got the BB Bold 9900, I have had issues with facebook on it. The notifications box is checked off, but often the notificatons do not arrive until after I have gone into the Facebook Application, and physically hit "notifications". Suddenly my phone dings to say I someone wrote on my wall, etc.
In the past week, the messages in my inbox will not refresh. On my computer I know that i have about 4 new messages, but the last message I can see is from a couple days before my newest messages. Why can't I see them?? I don't want to have to turn on a computer everytime I want to read my inbox messages.
