I am no longer able to delete the messages and notifications I am receiving from Facebook.Sometimes the FB icons are faded, but not all of them are. I am not able to remove either type using my delete options on the phone. If one of them is in the selection, nothing in the selection will delete either.

I have some PIN messages that won't delete. I can (and have) deleted earlier and later than the ones that won't delete. Can anyone tell me what's going on and how to get rid of those PIN messages?
BTW...on a Storm 2 (9500) with Telus Mobility (Canada) as provider...
Ever since I downloaded the newest version (1.9.0.20) of Facebook to my BB Storm 9530, I have been unable to delete messages from my Message folder. I can delete the from the Facebook folder but they will reappear & I have to continually delete them. However, I have messages dating back to early November (when I just downloaded the newer FB version last week) on my phone that I can not delete at all & they are beginning to pile up. I have contacted my carrier (Verizon) and I have contacted Facebook but no one seems to know what the problem is.

Incoming messages sync correctly but messages I delete on the phone do not delete from the server. There have been numerous cases where I need the information someone sent me in those messages, but I can't seem to find them. Is there something wrong with how the phone is set up? Is this a memory thing? Is there a way to get those messages back, are they stored somewhere?

I'm using nokia 5800 model. In that two messages got failed while sending and stored in Outbox. I tried to delete those two messages. But the status of those two msgs has been changed to 'Deferred' and are not getting deleted. I restarted the mobile, but again its there in the Outbox. I tried PC Suite to delete those messages. But those messages are not getting listed in the PC Suite. Kindly Suggest some solution for this problem

View 1 Replies View RelatedI suddenly stopped receiving notifications for text messages. I don't get sounds, the flashing green light or notifications at the top of my screen.
I have already tried going into settings > notifications and checked the "receive notification" and "play notification sound" boxes. I've chosen a notification sound with the volume up. None of this seems to work and i'm not sure why.
When I recieve a text message with a picture in it, I get no notification. However, once I happen to see the text and download the picture, then the phone makes the notification sound and adds the new message to the notification bar.
I think it should happen in the opposite order.
Can I delete programs that I don't want? For example, the "instant messaging" icon or the "application center" (which offers to download certain programs). I'm not going to use them....Can I delete these?

I have not been able to successfully delete using #7 as the phone does not recognize. Actually, no key function works, it just says try again later. This prevents me from getting to the messages following that fax. Can you delete all message somehow through a reset for voice mail?
View 1 Replies View RelatedAs of about a week ago, I have started receiving only about 10% of the messages and notifications from facebook that I used to receive to my Blackberry. 90% of the messages and notifications now just get stuck in facebook and I only see them when I log into fb through my laptop.
As of the last week, every once in a while I will receive some facebook message or notification to my blackberry, but the majority don't make it to my Blackberry and instead just stay on facebook until I open the site on my laptop.
