Nov 21, 2011I am quite happy with my Xperia Play, but it received an update last week and now I notice that Facebook-related applications have now taken up between 40 and 50mb of memory. I do not use facebook at all and wish to remove all traces of it from my phone, but I am not able to uninstall it from the various Android application menus or even by using Elixir.

Jul 3, 2010Firstly, when I watch video on youtube about 4-6 clips - the error message appear: "Please touch to try again" - even I touch multiple times it still can not play.
Then, I go to the Video App (Sony), surprisingly, the video didn't play. It appear an error message: "Can not play this video" - I try with every single video on my phone and still has the same error message.
And more surprisingly, even the video on facebook have the same problem too.
So it must be like: If I watch video on any app, suddenly the clip can not play or just keep loading infinity, these app will be "infected" immideately (at the same time as well). The only thing I can do is reboot the phone.
I know reboot phone is just spend my little time around 15-30 seconds maybe. But it is very annoying to happen with very frequently.

May 10, 2012My phone is a Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V, and today I noticed that I had many photos in my gallery, that were not me who put that thing there. So, I find out that my Xperia Facebook has synchronized all the photos like my profile pictures, wall photos, cover photos and all the new photos that friends put on facebook. So, I went to settings and disable the automatic synchronization, and then went to Apps -> Manage apps -> and found facebook, then I clicked on Erase data (I don't know if is this the name of the menu in english, because I'm using in portuguese) and it prompts me telling that this action were going to erase all the files that were with facebook in my Xperia. But even after that, the photos remain in my SD card, it didn't erase. I really want to delete it, but it's impossible trying to select all the albums because it don't have the Delete option.

Feb 24, 2015Just got my first xperia z3 a couple days ago and have been loving it! I used the PC companion to transfer pictures and notes from my old iPhone 4s and although I unchecked messages it seems those came along too. No big deal, however when I attempt to delete them the message app freezes, then when I try to reopen it the screen just goes black and I can't access my sms messages at all. If I restart my phone I can access my messages again and send and receive texts no problem but if I attempt to delete the messages the problem continues.
