My Galaxy S5 phone is always on vibration mode. If I have a notification and I don't remove it, it keeps reminding me every few minutes (two quick vibrations, three and a half times in a row) and I would really like to make it stop.
View 2 RepliesOn Sprint Stock OC9, and rooted.I am wondering if there is a way to disable some of the system notifications like "Charging... xx minutes Until Full" or the "Location Set By GPS". These are rather unnecessary. The GPS icon can stay but I don't need a notification along with it.

If I have everything going like normal, there are 5 notifications that I cannon clear off that take up the entire drop down. Makes everything look cluttered.Cable charging, connected as media deice, power save on, 1 device connected for tether, and then the select keyboard. I am rooted, and if it matters, the phone is an ATT G920A.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI use the default Calendar app on my S5 with several Gmail accounts, all which have default reminder settings. None of those accounts will use my default for calendar reminders, even after Syncing and rebooting. I've gone into my phone settings and searched for Notification, Reminder and Calendar and none of those settings have default reminders. I can only select to enable to disable these options.

Over the last couple of days I've noticed that most of my notifications are no longer appearing. I still get the from gmail and 1 game, but nothing from my other email accounts (I use Cloud Magic for my email, 5 accounts), Instagram, Twitter, Google Now, etc.
I've done some searching but haven't come up with a definitive answer anywhere, however I did see someone mention a problem with using notifications after having used ultra power save mode, and then turning it off. I used UPS mode for the first time on Sunday so it may well be the cause.
I've restarted the phone a couple of times, and checked the notifications settings in Cloud Magic and Instagram and they're as they should be.
I need to appoint business which should proceed in a current of several days in calendar E7. I want to receive reminders each three hours while business will not come to the end. If I press the button to repeat during the next reminder, phone repeats a reminder in 5 minutes. How to make, that the repeated reminder has occurred in 3 hours?

I notice in vibrate only that different types of notifications have different vibrate patterns, but I don't know if they're tied to the audible notification or by notification type (email, text, or general?).
It would be nice in the winter when walking outside to be able to tell what the notification is without having to pull the phone out of my pocket. Usually a winter coat or just outside noise drowns out the audible notification.
I;ve justed noticed that Stamina on my mobile is not working properly IE it does not disbable WiFi or Mobile Data when the screen is off/
WiFi sleep is set to never keep it enabled.
Also noticed that my WiFi keeps randomly disconnecting from an AP whilst I am using it
Just picked up the M8 and I'm super pleased with just about everything on the phone with the exception of a few things. One of the few things that bugs me about this phone is that I'm constantly missing texts, and e-mail notifications if the phone is in my pocket.
On my old phones, I'd rely on vibration to let me know when I receive incoming texts, or notifications, and on the M8 it seems theres only a single option to enable vibration and not anywhere to intensify, or even change the vibration patterns when receiving texts or other notifications.
Is there anything built into the phone that can intensify the vibration or possibly make it vibrate for a longer duration? I'd hate to download a third party app just to do this, but if thats my only option then I'll be happy to do so.
During a call, if there's any kind of notification (email or sms) or alarm the phone will annoyingly vibrate which I and the other person can hear.I've looked in the settings and haven't found a way to only turn off vibrate during calls. The only thing in the settings I've seen is to just turn of notifications completely, which I don't really consider a solution since I would like my phone to vibrate when things come in normally.I've missed the simple setting that stops vibration during a call.

View 13 Replies View RelatedOver the past couple of days, my phone (iphone 4) has been random vibrating and/or making various sounds. When this happens, there are no notifications. It will just sound or buzz for what seems to be no reason. Most of the time, my applications are not on. I have push on for my mail application, but that's it. The phone is in good condition, it's never been dropped or damaged in any way.

Shouldn't this be as straight forward as going into notifications, turning vibrate on and sound on?Apparently not as this doesn't do anything. Sound and vibe works for my other notifications. Outlook is my only issue right now.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have been using my Droid X problem free for about a month but this morning my phone completely stopped vibrating. It worked properly when my alarms went off around 7 AM but when I got to work around 8:30 there was no notification vibrations, no haptic feedback, and the phone didn't vibrate when I set it to vibrate mode. I didn't touch the phone at all between the time I woke up and the time I pulled it out at work (except to shut the alarms off) so I'm just very confused as to why all of a sudden the vibrate will not function. I have tried rebooting, battery pulls, and changed every vibration setting I could find but to no avail.

This started when a call came and ever since then the phone is constantly vibrating. Can feel the motor running at the back but not sure why it is running in such a hyper mode.
